The head secretary had admitted him without much of a thought—after all, the chief of the California State Police had visited Citadel many times before.

The elevator opened up on the hundredth floor to a long, brightly-lit hallway. Fake Man marched down this hallway, ignoring the black bubble security cameras above which were tracking his every movement and the loud echoing of his own footfalls, until he reached a door. He knocked once, then waited for it to slide silently open.

The fact that Judaism is trending because of both the wave of bomb threats on synagogues and Bradley Cooper's Antisemitism Adventure (his huge fake prosthetic nose, and him basically stealing the story from a Jewish man) is so infuriating and so exhaustingly typical.

The fact that I see Judaism trending on Tumblr and immediately think "oh no. Something Bad is happening to us." We're never trending cause it's fucking good. I never get to be excited, it's just cold dread.

The fact that Antisemitism is getting worse everyday and the only ones who ever talk about it are other Jews. The fact that no one else fucking cares. The only ones who support us are other Jews. I see a lot of people like saying Miguel is a fake spiderman or an evil version due to how he acts and how his spider powers are but there’s things you need to remind about him and his comic:

He got his powers from an attempt on his life that went wrong (literally was drugged). Not any attempt to make himself Spiderman

He was intentionally designed to zag where Peter zigged. Like where normal Spiders are jokey and overt he’s snarky and cynical.

Miguel was a socialite and popular while Peter was a barely getting by loser kid. In a way like Miles, he was meant to subvert Spiderman tropes

The guy had a horrible fucking life and it gave him a pretty bad temper but he still ultimately means well.

This was spurred cause I see people theorizing Miguel is actually some fake Spider person, out to destroy Spidermen be can’t control. Like of all the characters he probably has no ulterior motives more so projection and an overdue therapy appointment.
