What's this? An art post! *gasp* I've been sneaking the WIPs into my personal Tumblr/Twitter and Discord. Far enough now that I can put some of the progress over here!

This is Kiienber, a revamp of my oldest OC, Kitz Kijo. I'll be opening for adoptables/customs of hir species (Kaeruket) once the bases are finished! I have Kiiy's stripes left to do next, then a custom outfit. Thanks again to Malaikat for the bases used here (primarily Canine and Hyena), heavily modified. I'm stronger as an editor/colorist than lineartist, so working with these is tons of fun <3 ...and may save my brain from some short circuiting. Drawing the toes on the left nearly did me in, lol. (j/k)

Fairy cats.

In the folk tale "The King of Cats" a traveling man either hears of the death of the oddly named previous King of Cats or observes a royal funeral held by cats for their king. After arriving home the man speaks about what he'd seen when his housecat, also often strangely named, proclaims that they are now the King of Cats and rushes out of the house, typically through the chimney.

The many cats in this story are all usually considered cait sìth.
