Funguary day 26 icing sugar fungus
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Playing catch-up with Funguary prompts. Here’s Beauveria bassiana, nature’s dainty assassin, Inspired by the way this fungus envelops its host, I envisioned it as a couture garment with a life of its own.🍄✨
Love your art! My husband and I have gotten into wild mushroom hunting (mostly lobster mushrooms) and I love the information along with the gorgeous art. 💖
I'm thrilled to introduce my character, The Necromancer! While I haven't settled on her name yet, I've been affectionately referring to her as simply "The Necromancer." She's somewhere between 17 and 19 years old—still undecided on her exact age. She's a fiery, curious, and slightly devious young witch with a kind heart, though she hasn't quite mastered necromancy yet.
Here’s a concept drawing from my flower faerie story, featuring my main character Red hiding from a mischievous cat! 🌸 I also experimented with textured brushes for a new look.
Happy Ostara, everyone! 🌸 Today marks the Spring Equinox, a time of balance and renewal. As the earth awakens from its winter slumber, may we embrace the returning light and the promise of new beginnings. Let’s celebrate the blooming flowers, longer days, and the spirit of growth and fertility. Wishing you all a joyful and blessed Ostara! 🌼🌱
This sketch holds a special place in my heart. I created it during a time when I felt incredibly optimistic about life, especially with my engagement to the love of my life. It was drawn between the end of 2019 and January of 2020, inspired by our unforgettable trip to Yosemite. I’ve been contemplating finally finishing it; although I attempted to render it beyond this stage previously, I could never quite capture the satisfaction I envisioned.
