OC Introduction - Módi Thorson (Ed Speleers)

Thor and Járnsaxa's younger son, Módi has always been the most hot-headed out of the three children; quick to anger, quick to fight and well known as a trouble-maker. But he is also highly dedicated to any task he sets himself to, and is already shaping up to be one of the best warriors in Asgard, determined to one day defend it as his ancestors have done. There are even those who say that if a bastard has to inherit the throne, they would sooner it be him.

This, though, angers him greatly, as he is fiercely loyal to his family and looks up to his older brother - he would never take the throne from him if it came to that. He believes that Magni would be a good King and is immensely frustrated when no one else seems to see that, and although he is the only one of his siblings to remain at court after Magni leaves for Alfheim, he makes no attempt to hide his disdain for the nobles, and blames his father for not even trying to understand Magni. He frequently visits his brother, and spends most of his time with either Fenris, Thrúd, or his mother - and he is delighted when Magni is invited back for the coronation.

Módi is alarmed when events spiral out of control, and despite his animosity towards his father, he is still shocked at the banishment - but not as shocked as he is when his own uncle apparently steals his brother's throne, and he regards this as a great betrayal. Just because there was no formal ceremony doesn't mean Magni shouldn't be King, even if it would only be temporary until Odin awakens again.

There is something very wrong here - especially given no one knows just how the Frost Giants got past Asgard's security. And so Módi, alongside his family, decides to investigate, determined to find the answers...

Children of Kings A Hobbit Fanfiction

Middle Earth is not fiction, but part of the history of the world at large. Thousands of years ago, dwarves and elves roamed the land, and a great evil nearly brought the realm to its knees, though many of the stories are regarded as mythology rather than fact. But there are those who still believe, to include Laura Telcontari’s family. Named for the great line of kings, generations believed in the stories of ancient days - if only to distract them from the hard times they faced in present time.

Laura is one such believer - although if you ask her if she thinks a ring could destroy the world, she’d probably laugh. Both a linguist and historian, she often finds herself delving into ruins of past glories, looking for the stories her family often told. Until one day, in a strangely put together hole in the ground, she came across a journal.

Unlike the other artifacts her companions unearthed, this journal was practically new, unspoiled by dirt or insects or the decay that comes with time. Had she not known any better, Laura could have sworn someone had just put it there the day before - except no one had been in this place for a thousand years at least. Knowing she can’t convince a soul her find is museum worthy, Laura keeps the journal for herself and writes a small passage on the first page.

The following day, a new line has been added below hers, written in runes belonging to the race of dwarves.

What follows is an adventure that Laura never expected, spanning thousands of years across a few pages of parchment. Little lines of ink detail a grand journey across the countryside that Laura follows and responds to eagerly, absorbing every bit of the brilliant past she can in a way that should not be possible. But time is not something to be meddled with. It bleeds as well as any ink, and sets worlds to collide, returning an evil into the world that should have long been forgotten.

i usually don’t lean much on face claims for my saints row ocs anymore because i am more confident in my ability to make them in game but like. Charlie’s faceclaim is without a doubt Rory Culkin. faceclaim, voiceclaim-everything. he is literally just a Rory Culkin character to me at this point.

Hiii!

No, I don't really use faceclaims for any of my OCs! As an Artiste TM I usually have a specific vision of them in mind that doesn't entirely fit any real person in existence. At most I'll be initially inspired by a real person before designing a character, or I'll use lookalikes for reference when I draw them (like how Sidra and Val have "face inspos"), but I don't have dedicated faceclaims, no :/

Hope that's not a disappointing answer 😅

OC Introduction - Magni Thorson (faceclaim William Moseley)

Born 481 years ago and the eldest son of Thor and Járnsaxa, Magni is (despite his bastard status) his father's heir unless Thor marries and sires a legitimate son, and as such he, along with his siblings, have been raised accordingly, growing up in the court of Asgard, Magni in particular being taught how to govern and navigate the politics of the Nine Realms - partly because Odin and Frigga privately despaired that Thor might never marry and wanted to have a plan in place for this.

Magni is well aware of this fact, but nonetheless has always taken his duties and responsibilities seriously. Yet this has not been easy, because a great number of people do not believe he should ever inherit the throne, and this sentiment grew once he discovered he had a great aptitude for magic, and decided to not just pursue this but to specifically train in healing magic, reasoning that any ruler should know how to protect their people in every way, and if he could heal his own wounds then any on-field battle healers would be free to help others.

With support for him diminishing and his relationship with his father become increasingly strained, Frigga made the decision to send him to Alfheim, where he has remained for the last seventy-four years, the only regular visitors from Asgard being his brother, sister, cousin, and uncle - Thor never made much effort to see him, and despite his best efforts Magni ends up resenting him for this. Being summoned home for the coronation is the last thing he wants - even the prospect of being formally named as the new Crown Prince of Asgard holds little joy for him, after realising that actually, the idea of going through all that only to be ousted from his position later on is deeply hurtful, especially when it's clear none of this means anything to his father.

Magni, though, knows his duty and attends the ceremony, only for Frost Giants to interrupt- then Thor is banished after starting a war with Jotunheim, and not long afterwards his grandfather falls into the Odinsleep, and then the realm is faced with a dilemma. For technically the throne is now Magni's, yet without being formally proclaimed as Crown Prince he knows perfectly well no one will support him.

And although it should be a relief when Loki is named King instead, Magni can't help but feel like there's something up with the whole situation they're in - and it's up to him, his siblings, and his cousin to try and find out the truth.
