how do you choose faceclaims?
honestly, i like going for lesser known ones? i think the only commonly used fc that i’ve used is bella hadid? i might be wrong but i want to promote more diversity on my page and be more inclusive so i try to use woc or completely faceless readers! but it also depends on what the person has specified in their request. <33

tell me more about the law firm au!
YAY okay!!! i wrote like three thousand words last night i was in the ZONE. so i was torn between lewis or max as the protagonist. if it was lewis, it would have been him and his toxic co-dependent relationship w/ nico as they graduate law school and nico breaks up with him and turns all of his connections against him. so he has to move and start afresh. he meets sebastian and jenson work together and eventually open their own firm.
if max was the protagonist, it’d be after that had all happened. max has to turn down a job at his dad’s firm because of their toxic relationship and takes a job at hamilton, vettel & button. the firm includes george as a senior associate, alex as a suffering paralegal, lando as an it specialist, daniel as a junior partner, obviously seb/jenson/lewis as partners, mark as a conglomerate owner and oscar as his heir.
it’s mostly the background noise as max figures out who he is and deals with his history. romances obviously take a side to that. the same thing if lewis was the protagonist, mostly figuring out what and who he is without nico. i like making things more pretentious than need be.
idk if it’d be a reader fic but if so, reader would definitely be a first year associate like max. under the watchful gaze of george. she would definitely take a secondary role too.

Hi! I was thinking, if Maneater isn't in a team currently on the grid like s/o, that Günther Steiner could be their team principal, since he has left Haas later last year. But maybe it's better not to actually involve someone and just create a character specifically for that

Oh the law babes are in here, probably just quiet on requests tbh 🤣. I was having a whole discussion on someone's page last week and everyone was dropping their careers/majors - super interesting. Most interesting was definitely someone that was a professional ballerina while studying pre-law
oooh!! it’s so interesting seeing the sort of careers that people in fandom spaces are either thinking about going into and/or currently in! one of my friends i made years ago online is studying to be a architect and another is in pre-med. very interesting. i feel like the boring one in law. it’s fun at times but very monotonous lol.
a professional ballerina going into law seems so interesting!! i think that’s definitely the coolest career switch i’ve heard.

So I've decided to make a point. I know hundreds of writers on here have been trying to bring this to the attention of audiences, but it doesn't seem to be getting through. So I'm gonna try. These are the likes, comments, and reblog ratios on some of my fics.
I don't get as many notes as some authors do on here for most of my work, but you can see how out of 447 people that it's underwhelming to receive no comments.
Even on my more popular fanfictions, the comments and reblogs don't even compare to the amount of likes on a post.
And here is a fact that might startle some of you;
Likes mean nothing. They mean nothing on any social media app, and at the end of the day, they mean even less here. Writers want kudos, comments, ideas, and constructive criticism. Writers want your thoughts on the work you just read. Even if it's just a simple red heart emoji or a keyboard smash, that tells us so much and gives us inspiration to write similar content for you and others to enjoy. Reblogs are even more important than comments and most definitely likes. Reblogs allow our work to reach different sides and circles of tumblr. If it's on your mutuals dash because you reblogged it, then more people will see it, read it, and hopefully enjoy it. Reblogs matter, because writers are pouring their heart, soul, pussys, and dicks into these fics and are brave enough to post them. For free. You get to read these fics for free. And the least you can do is drop a comment.
Reblog a fic to your blog if you loved it. Even better, Reblog with tags or write your comments with the reblog. We see all of it, and it makes our day. Please, you're wondering why writers for your favorite fandoms are dwindling here. It's because there is no support. If you support your favorite writers, artists, gifmakers, etcetera, then we might just stick around and continue making free content for you all.
