It's come to my attention that there is someone anonymously stating that another creator has plagiarized my work. It takes roughly two seconds of looking at the work by @moireia to realize it is nothing like AVWH. An apology is owed to her.

My story concept was by no means original when I first started writing, and my use of Adelaide Kane as a Stark is not groundbreaking casting. Every story involving Game of Thrones OCs will have similar beats over time, especially during the content of season/book one. Overlap is inevitable. This doesn't mean plagiarism is involved. It's just the coincidence of writing in a popular fandom.

I have so much respect for you in naming Myra's direwolf. I'm trying to name my Stark's direwolf and its so hard :((( I feel like the direwolf names are deceptively simple sounding but GRRM loaded them with so much meaning and signficiance. Any advice?

Don't worry about the meaning. Just plant yourself in your character's shoes and think "what name appeals to them in this moment?" If you really want there to be a deeper meaning, you can always write it in later.

Because Jon is a good man who wants the best for people. Because throughout the series, he was willing to put aside his pride, allegiance, and his very life in order to do the right thing. Because his view on the world is not set in stone and he is willing to change. He's not perfect, but he's a good man, and Westeros is in desperate need of that.

How did you got the idea for the character of Myra at first?

It was the season 3 finale and our lord and savior Ramin Djawadi gave us one of the best tracks from Game of Thrones: Mhysa.

I listened to that song endlessly, and from it came a vision of Jaime Lannister riding away from The Twins with a young woman in his possession. It was a highly romanticized version of events and definitely is not how it went down, but it stuck with me for an entire year until I finally decided to start A Vow Without Honor.
