I cannot draw men I'll be honest, I have little been the little femme drawing princesses in pretty dresses since I was like born
and then like
animals! which occasioanlly come out alright so like uggghhh I'm gonna be drawing the protag and the voices as different birds and also because I LOVE those bird assignments to the voices DEARLY
I still don't know how to use Tumblr properly but like check out the reblogs under for different birds, coz I've done two and like now I have to finish them all you know
(I also haven't TECHNICALLY played slay the princess yet, and i really really want to wait to play some before actually looking, Like the ones I missed were the contrarian and like the nightmare and the thorn and the stranger endings (God the stranger looks just.... yes <3), and like I really wanna experience those ones myself! But I'm also doing an intensive course so don't have the time to go and get all 97 achievements like I want and OH DO I WANT TO)
SO like this gone be a project, some of these are based on gut feelings, silliness all that vibe ANYWAYS
My bird assignments:
The cold -> penguin (he he he get it!) or vultue ( you get it!)
The hunted -> wren bird
I just imagine those little birds you find in shopping centres
The paranoid -> turkey
I don't know it just tickles my brain
The flinching -> robin, quail
( I'll be honest, I don't know if flinching even exists coz I remember seeing him from a post but like its not in the wiki but also you know! Anyways!!!)
The broken -> parakee or canary
(So perfect! I love these very much <3 personally I'm doing parakeet because its like the bird that alot of aussie kids get)
The opportunist -> cuckoo or eygptian plover
( cuckoo coz obvious, and egyptian plover coz its those little birds that sit on croccodiles!)
The contrarian -> goose or puffin or kookaburra
(coz goose, puffins are called clowns and and kookaburras laugh but like also they are petty AF I promise you that)
The skeptic -> owl or little pied cormorant
(Owl coz "who?" and tilt head gives me that thought, and a friend told me of little pied cormorant and like now I'm attached man
The smitten -> flamingo or love bird
(love bird is obvi, the flamingo is because I think of that flamingo from gnomeo and juilet)
The stubborn -> emu or cassowary
(We lost a war to emus... so you know! and the cassowary coz those things are known for killing things)
The knight -> eagle or Black swan
(eagles are associated with honour and black swan is like related to knights in my head Idky)
The cheated -> dove
(I'm like 75% sure that the cheated and the flinching are the same voice but I just haven't played the game so have gotten confused, HOWEVER, cheated is with the "perfect woman" route to my knowledge and my brain associates doves with getting their legs all cut up and me and my nan looking after them so I associate it and like its perfect to my knowledge)
The protag -> crow
( in my brain, first of all because of the bird stuff and the feathers being black, but also because its equal is the shifting mound, which is considered to be death itself, so like the protag being a crow seems perfect because like crows are associated with death)
That technically makes things hard for the narrator then coz like he's obvi a corvid anyways,
narrator -> raven
(I put him as raven, because like thats how he looks and also coz he gives edgar allen poe vibes / derog)
The shifting mound -> peacock
(Its just perfect how can not????)
I don't think of the princess versions as like birds, but I also saw someone saying the shifting mound as a peacock, and like yeah male peacocks are the pretty ones, but like first of all, fuck that and second of all that just means we can go for trans femme shifting mounds, and my brain likes the idea of that idSk it tickles my brain good.
