If you’ve been following us from our beginnings we had never used African beans due to the malpractices involved in labor, however we were never against using beans from this region unless unethical practices were involved. DAY 17: RAW VEGAN BANANA CINNAMON COCONUT DATE SMOOTHIE Still at my 21-day raw vegan challenge where I have at least one raw vegan meal a day. I asked on IG stories if anyone was joining me but the response was that’s it’s too tough. Maybe start off with a 7-day challenge first? ❓Neeways, sharing with you what I used to make this smoothie - based on Fully Raw Kristina’s recipe. 🍌 I also added in a swirl of the @benns_ethicoa chocolate because everything tastes better with chocolate, doesn’t it? Especially since this is single estate artisanal chocolate. (The choc isn’t raw but it is vegan!) 🍫 INGREDIENTS: 2 bananas, sliced 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 cup young coconut water 2 dates, pitted 1 pandan leave, cut into pieces METHOD: Blend all ingredients in a blender till smooth. Melt chocolate in dehydrator and swirl on top of smoothie.
