Epic lore reveals from Shelby's explaination stream

We received context for Shelby's ending, she serves her full year before going back to the academy. In this time she actually fixes the fog by giving all the spirits homes

Tortoise was originally planned to be a cursed guy (played by Wilbur Soot) that she turned back into a human, but finds him so annoying that she turns him back into a frog.

She reveals that the witches were the ones who released Xornoth which is why the letter says "again"

She purposely left the end ambiguous on who "she" was, but her and Katherine fud go on a coffee date together

The Shrub epilogue will be coming and she is planning on doing the rest of the recording after her trip to Japan

aaand here's one of my pieces for the Hermitshipping Big Bang!!

This is for a Nature Wives fic by the amazing @honorsongs!!! No I didn't base my entire piece around like one line in chapter 5... :D Here's the link to the fic!

I had a blast working with Honor and the other artist on the team, @whimsical-roots!

Under the cut: another version without the pink lighting, which is what I had originally planned and was on my preview!

The pink lighting was totally not an impulsive decision I made one evening at like 11pm... I don't regret it though, I love both versions :D On this one you can see the bi colour palette better! (The bi colours were kind of accidental, but I just ran with it)

This event was amazing, lots of love to everybody who participated<3 @hermitshippingbigbang thanks for organising this!!!!

Bro I’m laughing so hard at the implications of Witchcraft Shelby and ESMP Shelby being the same person.

Because Scott and Joey are also in Witchcraft.

And I don’t think knowing both Witchcraft and Chromia Scott would be that strange. They’re INCREDIBLY DIFFERENT, in personality and looks. So it’d be like “oh I know another person named Scott” which isn’t that out of the ordinary.

But Joey? Like yeah, he’s not a pirate. But they’re far more similar, and she knew Empires Joey WAY better than Empires Scott.

So, imagine you get called to compete to be the next supreme witch, so you move your house, go to (presumably) a different continent.

And one of the other contestants is looks and acts... exactly like your best friend from home. You ask for their name- and they have the same name.

What do you even do with that information?

I know that empires s2 ended but I have this Katherine headcanon that you guys just need to hear. Okay so Katherine holds her axe all the time around her friends, and she is also like really expressive with arms and hands while she talks.

These two things mixed together leads to her just swinging her axe around while talking while talking to people and this freaks people out. Most people call her out, but Katherine and Joey both don't hoping it will get her to like them more and every single time they talk with her you see them both flinching slightly while talking to her.

After getting with her Shelby absolutely makes her stop doing that by both verbally explaining it and also just taking the axe out of Katherine's hand every time she does it.
