Obsessed with the implications of the Winx Episode where Diaspro is kidnapped by the power rangers.
1. God I feel for Diaspro. Her boyfriend cheated on her and she can't understand why he doesn't like her. She's trained her whole life for the implication that will get her a prince and true love. And then... He cheats on her. With a commoner??? Who attacked her for no (okay it was Sky's fault) reason. That probably undermined her world view. This either puts into perspective her turn to Valor and the Trix, or just makes me pissed at the writers for not redeeming her/giving her a different lover.
2. The High Tech Ninjas are now on Earth... Do they work for or against Elon Musk (or whatever Italian equivalent there is)? That's the important question.
3. King Erendor's comment about how it may be a good thing that Sky saves Diaspro and possibly agree to get engaged to her. There's no way he doesn't know about Bloom being the Princess of Domino. Either Sky has told his parents, or his bestie Oritel told them about their red headed daughter. (I also like to imagine that Blooms behavior reminds him of either Oritel or Marion, adds more trauma). Anyways, is his want for Sky to marry Diaspro instead from typical royal classism??? Or his own trauma from ratting out his bestie???

No inconvenience i'm sorry it took me so long to answer this!!!!!
I've posted the map I made a couple of times but i never really went that in depth about what i did to the places themselves. Well I mean I did but that's in a notebook somewhere and didn't ever actually get posted lmao sorryyyy
Okay so! I'm going to try formatting it as straight forward as I can, but it's still gonna be long as hell. Also there's some things I can't quite remember so I'll come back and update this when I find them in that notebook
Earth - Regular Earth where we live
Magix - The name of the planet where everyone that isn't from earth lives; It is very similar to earth in every way other than having magic; I might have people from this planet be called magicians, alongside people from earth being called earthlings.
COUNTRIES
Solaria - One of the major world super powers of Magix. A massive kingdom with happy citizens and generally good quality of life. Capital is Soletres which sits along the coastline of a massive bay, the capital city is surrounded by desert as you leave the coast. The south most shore is quite marshy and the northern most border is mountains, with lots of different kinds of terrain in between. Though King Radius and Former Queen Luna divorced many years ago, Luna is still a prominent figure in politics. Princess Stella is a beloved icon of her people.
Eraklyon - Another major super power. Shares some of its western border with Solaria and extends east to the coast. A very mountainous country, with some areas of plains to the south. Capital is ________. Quite a different vibe from Solaria, Eraklyon is heavily militarized with a sizable class divide. Much of the country lives in poverty. King Erendor and Queen Samara are proud, stubborn rulers (and parents). Prince Sky is largely a mystery to the public.
Andros - Though not quite as enormous as the last two, still quite a powerful kingdom as they are rich in resources. Also in control of Lightrock Penitentiary, a highly secure prison on an small island to the north. The main island of Andros was created by a massive, now extinct volcano. The bowl is now an enormous lake that is connected to the ocean via giant rivers and canals, this is where the capital city, _________, is located. Andros is a semi aquatic kingdom, a merge of two civilizations that were once at war, and as such there is a secondary royal family that resides off the coast of the main island. They are secondary in power to the main royal family, comprised of King Neptune, Queen Ligea, and Princess Aisha.
Dominoe - By the time of our story, this kingdom has long since fallen. All that remains of this once flourishing nation is abandoned ruins nestled in the snowy mountains north of Eraklyon. After the fall of Dominoe, Eraklyon actually tried to take over it's territory, but found the landscape to be far too harsh to settle. The captial city of Sparks is now a ghost town, or is it?
CITIES
Linphea - A very small city in the forests of Solaria. Populated by both civilians and acolytes as this city is the location of the Sacred Garden of the Mother Dragon. It is said to be where she first landed on Magix and is a holy site full of secrets.
Melody - A destination city in the south of Solaria. A cultural hub filled to the brim with tourists. This bustling city is always buzzing with passion, and it's where Musa's parents met and she was born.
Zenith - A densely packed city in the north west of Eraklyon, just within its border with Alfea and close to Red Fountain. This city is a hot spot for tech and engineering. Despite being a bustling city that never sleeps, this is ironically one of the more socially relaxed parts of Eraklyon, and people are a lot more welcoming here than other parts of the country.
Dyamond - This is a spoiler!
Gardenia - Bloom's hometown on earth, now located just outside of New York City because that's the area I'm familiar with and that'll make it a lot easier for me to write for.
OTHER
Alfea - Elite fairy College north of Linphea, near the Solarian border with Eraklyon but on the Solarian side.
Cloud Tower - College for witches just north of Solaria's border in a small country I don't have a name for yet, and to the west of Alfea. One of the few schools for witches across Magix, allegedly where the practice was founded.
Red Fountain - Military academy to the east of Alfea, past the border into Eraklyon.
Lightrock Penitentiary - a highly secure prison on an small island to the north of the main island of Andros
Light Hope Monastery - Home to peaceful monks who tend to the island on which Lightrock Penitentiary is located. Sometimes prisoners with excellent behavior can be granted a sort of parole and allowed to live amongst the monks. It is also kind of like rehab.
Omega Penitentiary - the most brutal prison in all of magix, where the worst magical offenders of all time are kept in crystalline prisons designed by the Great Dragon herself.

Eraklyon
Eraklyon is a planet within the Magic Dimension that holds a notably significant monarchy compared to the rest that can be found within the Magic Dimension. Sky is the current King due to his father, King Erendor, who voluntarily left the throne and gave it to him. HOWEVER, in light of Sky wanting to explore the magical dimension and continue his adventures as a specialist, Erendor and Samara are currently the acting King and Queen, until sky wants to take over or until he marries Bloom.
this is the homeworld of Sky, Thoren, Brandon, Diaspro and their families. it is a very traditional kingdom, having arranged marriages and strict heirarchal structures.the king and queen are very authoratative.
it is also a quite important kingdom as it is situated right next to Domino, thus it has a lot of ties to other kingdoms, leading sky to know Stella, (Aisha a little in passing like a bow), and the crown princes and princesses of many other planets.
King erendor and king oritel were once very close as their planets were right next to each other, but because of domino's downfall, it is presumed that that is what resulted in erendor's personality becoming more crabby.

Winx Club: Season 1 Rewrite (Snippet)
So as I've said before, I'm working on a rewrite of the Winx Club series and as I'm writing, I thought it'd be fun to share an extract of chapter 1:
“I can’t believe we’re letting him go back to that school.”
Standing beside her, on the threshold of Eraklyon’s royal palace, King Erendor sighed as his wife repeated the same accusation she had been firing at him for weeks. “He has many enemies, Samara, and will grow up to have even more. Sending him to Red Fountain is the best thing we can do to prepare him.”
Samara didn’t bother addressing her husband, her eyes fixed on the ship that was currently being prepared for takeoff in the direction of Magix’s capital city. Palace servants were loading suitcases and bags into the cargo compartment of the ship, while the pilot and guards were discussing the route most likely to let them go undetected. “His enemies are exactly the reason we should keep him here,” She said. “Sky is the future King of Eraklyon, he should be learning how to rule a kingdom, not how to swing a sword or shoot an arrow.”
“You think our army will take commands from a king who hasn’t known a day of battle?” As the Magic Dimension’s Realm of the Warrior, Eraklyon was well known for its strong military force. Other planets and kingdoms would trade their own products and services for Eraklyan knights to fight their battles. So for Sky to command such a strong and proud army and its generals, it was vital he earned their respect as a swordsman first. “Those men aren’t the type to listen to spoiled brats.”
“Then have master Lowine teach him.”
“He has been,” Erendor said. “But having one swordmaster train you is not nearly the same as getting Red Fountain’s level of military education. Besides, royals and lords all over the magic dimension are sending their sons to Red Fountain, not to mention the high-born girls at Alfea. Sky should get to know them; form alliances and gather information for when he needs it.”
“And just how is he supposed to do that when everybody takes him for that Allard boy?” Samara rebutted, her attention now having shifted to the brunette standing beside her son. “Those other kids don’t even know who ‘Sky’ really is.”
“That’s a temporary safety measurement. Once Yoshinoiya’s threats settle down we will rectify that situation.” Erenor said, his eyes too having been redirected to the young squire. “Besides, it’s not a bad thing for Sky to be friends with someone from the Southern Isles.”
“I don’t trust that boy. He’s corrupting Sky’s brain with that southern liberalism. You know his father, he’s-”
“The south’s strongest military leader, one we should keep on our side.” Erendor interjected. “And if we do that by sending Brandon to Red Fountain with Sky, then he is letting us off easy,” he said. “Christian is many things, but he’s not a traitor.”
“Well let’s hope the same thing can be said about his children then. His oldest just recently got betrothed to Lord Khai’s daughter. Quite the match I’ve heard.” Samara said, clearly unimpressed by the marriage between the two southern families. “Speaking of engagements, I was just informed that Lady Disapro will be joining us for dinner tonight?”
Erendor wasn’t unaware of the sneer laced with the queen’s polished vocabulary. “Sky is leaving a day sooner than planned, but that doesn’t mean we should deny Diaspro a meal with her future in-laws.” He said. “Her parents will not be joining us, however, but the girl is very well informed of House Grandare’s politics.”
“Oh I have no doubts about the girl’s devotion to her father’s lordship. I simply wonder whether we have found the best suitor Sky could be taking to marriage.” Samara said, revisiting the topic of her son’s potential fiancée once more. “Doesn’t Princess Stella of Solaria go to Alfea? I thought Sky was quite fond of her?”
“He is, but she’s Solaria’s crowned princess, their only one at that, she’d never leave Solaria for another kingdom.” Erendor shook his head. “Besides, Radius denies anybody’s request for his daughter's hand. His pending divorce from Luna has him all sentimental about the princess’s future marriage, which he will not be arranging under any circumstances.”
Samara scoffed. “I’ve always told him that he’s way too lenient with that girl.” she said, making a mental note to have her staff reach out to the King of Solaria. “I will be attending dinner tonight, but not before reevaluating our options. I do think that an international coupling is within our best interest.”
“Whatever you wish, darling.” The sarcasm was nearly dripping off his words. “But we will want to think about the consequences of cutting off this agreement at this stage, Lord Grandare won’t take kindly to a disruption of his plans to get his daughter married to Sky.”
“His plans to get his daughter on the throne, you mean.” Samara rolled her eyes. Lord Grandare was a good ally of the royal family, but the queen wasn’t unaware of his motives to get his daughter married off to the prince as soon as possible. Diaspro was a nice girl, pretty too, so Sky shouldn’t have too much to complain about, but Samara wasn’t too keen on the idea of the Grandares taking over the palace at her expense. “I will see what we can do about him, should this marriage be the best option available.”
Erendor stayed silent for a moment, watching his son get ready to board and giving him a silent nod when the prince looked up at him expectantly. In the corner of his eye, he could see his wife offering her son a static wave. “Seems like they’ll be taking off soon.” He said, readjusting his cape and making his way down the steps of the palace.
“I’ll arrange travel plans to Solaria and Lynphea for the next week. I don’t think a suitor for princess Krystal has been named yet.” Turning on one heel, Samara signalled for her handmaiden to fetch her phone. “I will have Gaston prepare duck for tonight’s dinner, don’t you think? Diaspro’s from the North, so I think she could appreciate-”
“Samara.”
Inhaling sharply at the interruption, Samara slowly turned her head to look at her husband. “Yes?”
Erendor sighed as he let his eyes slide back and forth between his wife and his son. “They’re about to leave for an entire school year.” He tried to hint. However, Samara merely raised an eyebrow at him, silently asking him for further elaboration. “Don’t you think we should say goodbye?
A moment of silence fell between the two of them as Samara followed his gaze. “I have more pressing matters to attend to than sentiment,” She then stated, her eyes momentarily locking with those of her son, before stoically averting them. “Like preparing to tell Diaspro she won’t be seeing her fiancé for a year.”

I am so curious about the magic inheritance system in winx
What determines whether a child has magical abilities or not? How would you discover that ability? Can you learn magic through study alone or is it something you have to inherit?
There are some parents/relatives with very obvious magical powers (Marion/Oritel, Saladin), but I'm so curious about those that are more vague (Samara/Erendor, Radius/Luna, Tecna/Flora/Aisha's parents)
Hell, even parents that appear to have almost no magical powers (Musa's parents, and I assume most of the specialists parents)
How would a regular person feel/survive in an environment that has magic as its lifeblood? I can maybe understand Zenith or Magix inhabitants, since technology seems to be used as a medium to channel magic. But what about other planets like Melody with its magical whales?
Do the specialists have no magical parents? Or did they just not inherit/gain the ability at all? How would they feel living in a world where they train to fight/protect despite knowing they would probably be at the whims of / be inferior to those who can wield magic?
Yes, this entire post was sparked bc of THAT riven comment in s2.

I would assume that ALL beings in the magical dimension have some innate magic in them then? Just that those who do not possess magic abilities cannot harness that energy/power, or have to channel it through other means ( like weapons rather than spells)
Reminds me a bit about what I heard from the 4kids dub where apparently "winx" is something everybody has (i think)
The exception to that maybe being earth where magic is devoid
Would that mean that post-S4 where magic is restored on earth, that earthlings will be able to enter Alfea? Hmm things to think about

Maybe I’m missing something, but where is Samara (Sky’s mum) ? I think she was in the diaspro rescue chap but she wasn’t there in s3 during the whole sky-erendor-valtor-eraklyon situation, was she ? sorry maybe I’m just really missing something but I was wondering
She’s mentioned but the thing is she’s just not interested at all in the Kingdom or on helping her son rule so yeah, she’s very much an absentee parent

Stealing royal titles bc I'm annoying, but keeping everyone famous and from politically important families
I will readily admit this is just because of my dislike for stories about royalty lol, and I have "no royalty" au for just about every fandom I'm in so this is customary
Anyways, here are the ideas:
Sky is still a prince but like Eraklyon crumbles in s3 so not for long— also, Eraklyon fucking sucks so it doesn't put monarchies in a good light lol
Bloom 1: Bloom is technically still a princess but the monarchy is dissolved when Domino is brought into the modern era, so it's an in name only thing and then not
Bloom 2: same thing as in the evil parents Bloom post, Viva all revolution, Bloom is once again in name only and then not
Roxy is a "princess" but that's a political title one is elected into as the next leader, Roxy is the youngest one ever, and Roxy was chosen because she's the only earth fairy thats been off planet and she's gonna be representing them to the rest of the dimension so they made the decision. Roxy is pretty annoyed about this
Stella 1: Radius is like?? You know how the supreme court is a life time position?? Radius is like that. His role is to basically keep Solaria as his highest priority, and this is done by connecting his life force to the second sun (which is one of the few things I remember that's gonna happen) this is obviously a life long position and a very high ranking political position. He's role is like Permanent advisor (Solaria's leader can change but he will never go). Btw this doesn't make his and Luna's divorce less of a media circus. I imagine Radius and Luna are some of the messiest bitches and Stella was dragged in the middle of their public fighting. Everything is still on fire with that divorce
Stella 2: Constructional monarchy, they're only there for symbolic reasons and only have very minor power and their biggest role politically is in ceremony
Stella addendum: Luna is probably a famous actress or something in that vein
Aisha 1: Aisha's are very visible and high ranking politicians that constantly have the public and other politicians watching them bc of Andro's strength. Especially by still powerful but starting to lose stability Eraylon. Aisha is still expected to be extremely prim and proper so she doesn't make her parents look bad. This also gives Aisha the space to pick up hobbies like rock climbing and learning how to drive a wind rider. I can't see ultra conservative royals letting their child pick up a hobby that could get her injured, but Aisha would be under less strict rules/watched less so she'd probably be allowed to do these things because they wouldn't make a huge positive or negative impression on them. Also Aisha disappearing and not wanting to follow in the parents foots steps is less a huge political problem for Andros
Aisha 2: King&Queen is a semi ambassador semi representative, political role thats mainly about land Andros and Sea Andros treating eachother as equals and has bother and sisters despite their differences.
Aisha 3: Aisha's family is a constitutional monarchy and holds a symbolic role as Sea Andro's monarchy's direct family, with the same goal of equality and connection between sea and land Andros
Diaspro: I can't see a reason that Sky and Dia would be getting married unless she was also a princess, so she's probably a still princess :// damn you unmovable plot points. Whatever it's still connected to the Eraklyon plot line so I can shove it full of political drama
Krystal is just a politician's/high ranking specialist's/witch/faires kid. I'm partial to specialist bc then she and Helia would be living at the same base and that's how they're childhood friends (that and they liked to prank military wives). I can't imagine Linphea having a monarchy at any point in time, it's all representative
Zenith doesn't have a monarchy. It had one at one point, bc the idea of someone being swallowed up by the sea because they had no compassion is cool, but they've done away with it
Melody might still have a monarchy? Or maybe just a v rich noble/political class that Galatea is apart of

In a post you put the lineages of the Winx, what are those of the specialists? (and Nabu)
Since there's not a lot of canon info about the boys a lot of this is OC creation/me taking even more generous creative liberties.
I also haven't named all their parents yet because it isn't very relevant right now, so I just put placeholders for Helia and Riven.
Here it is in alphabetical order:

*Side Note: So I initially wrote a draft answer to this, but ended up taking a break mid-way through. This ask made me think deeper about the boys' dynamics with their families. More specifically, Brandon. I went into this with a very different idea in mind than what I settled on here, but it's definitely going to be interesting to explore this later. This also just made me realize that I need to finish my post on the races.
Hopefully I can get back into doing some more worldbuilding after my exams, projects, and various other final semester obligations are completed >_<
