Original TS2 cards aren't great but I was never motivated enough to default those (we're talking ~100 resources here) ...until I saw this 19thc deck 😍. Card effects are still a bit glitchy - can't do nothing about it, but nice cards make it easier to watch.

*I've included a mesh-only default for card deck - it's compatible with texture defaults. As far as I know, only @gingerplaysthesims has made one (it's a classic clean white deck, textures are smaller than my DR). There's also this medieval-fantasy style DR here.
And here's my edit of Black Jack's Rest poker table aka Pirate Card Table extracted from Castaway. It is not recolourable so I created a smaller dining table and repositoried the large thing to it:

This fun object was created by Simslice, for a while I've been using @hugelunatic 's repositoried version but animations bothered me (naked Sim leaves the table and starts spinning that noisy birthday thingy, then gets double panic attack ). @episims kindly helped me remove those anims . *Simslice TOU doesn't allow sharing or editing their stuff, so I guess that includes object fixes (?) I will remove this DL, if asked to do so.

i know that like, really well thought out characters with intended arcs and established backstories from the jump were not really staples of episodic tv, especially the more formulaic genres like crime procedurals which end up being character-driven only because of longevity. and furthermore in some ways the coincidences and oddnesses that come with an inability to change certain character choices across seasons or even episodes end up doing significantly more character work than a lot of the writers do, and maybe some of the actors as well. beyond the boilerplate “meaning isn’t always intentional,” the settings in which meaning is most at stake in these shows tend to be fandom settings, which are already given to reading with a level of depth, retention, and stakes which far outstrips most of the show’s aspirations and probably have more parity with the craft and norms of prestige tv. obviously crafting an exit plan for a character is hard to do when you might have to, for example, fire them mid-season, or rush them out due to not wanting to pay women, etc. and even if you could, you can’t budget to shoot flashback scenes early on, establishing backstory naturally works against how character arcs tend to happen in these shows, and so on.
anyway point is that eps like 52 pickup (or outfoxed, or… is it called jj? the missing girl at sea one?) where prentiss’ job is to flirt with the unsub are clearly character episodes when they happen, but are very different character episodes in the context of the doyle arc. in 52 pickup it’s first a gag, and then a Girl Power Moment, which i think are, in their own way, fine— like every crime show had a pua episode where they roasted puas for having no game, arcane theories of gender, etc. it becomes obviously very awful to her in the context of her doyle assignment, even if, i guess, it’s also got a sort of cathartic quality: what she gets at the tail end of it is to totally wreck this guy. though i feel that within both the episode and the larger, later character arc, that’s insufficient. so the episode becomes, beyond its gender politics which were already rudimentary, secretly very laden with emotional stakes for emily in a way that seemingly no one predicted.
outfoxed tarnishes totally differently. personally and genuinely, one of my favorite things is when crime shows have their big Doing The Hannibal Lecter Tetralogy episodes, which are in my experience universally terrible but in such lush and varied ways. outfoxed borrows heavily from the visual language of the scene where starling interviews hannibal in the silence of the lambs movie, casting prentiss as starling and the fox as hannibal lecter. notably, their take on it ends with a reversal and revelation, which is that it’s george foyet behind this all (following lecter’s revelatory role in sotl), and the figure we see exiting the prison (in starling’s position) is hotch, not prentiss— so this reference also sustains and enables the reversal. it’s pretty half-assed as the framing for the episode (i.e., there’s no meaningful parity between the killer, a refugee from the war in yugoslavia, and buffalo bill, but that’s probably for the best), but its implications for prentiss are really interesting. typically the clarice starling parallels feature a young, green agent thrust into a new world (for example, the show references the training scene at the opening of silence of the lambs when ashley seaver is introduced), and navigating its new stakes and dynamics as ably as she can. prentiss reacts to hotch’s expectations that she flirt with the fox with disgust and an amount of surprise. this isn’t necessarily at odds with the fact that she’s had to do this before, since the fox is both categorically worse than the previous instances (e.g. in the previous season’s 52 pickup, she clearly didn’t see viper as a threat; which was also clearly telegraphed re: dante in the previous episode the performer), and in a different, unfamiliar, and threatening setting. but it would have an obvious parallel with doyle, and to such an extent that flirting with a killer to get information wouldn’t be a new and alarming experience for her.
this has clear solubility with the way the doyle arc shakes out, and presumably the way they leaned into her furtive and secretive behavior there involved an eye for how it would ease any earlier narrative problems like these: i.e., the disgust she expresses at having to flirt with the fox, the way she feels unbalanced, unsafe, and ill at ease with the whole situation and with how it required not only to exploit herself but also others, specifically a child— these made sense for her character then, but they also are analogues to her time undercover, and are the version of that which she’s able to articulate in that setting.

emily episodes!!! every episode is an emily episode the same way every episode of a hotch episode but these are my favs: 3x05 seven seconds is easily one of the best cm episodes of all time, you already said 4x03 but there’s nothing wrong w watching that ep ten times in a row, 3x02 showing her commitment to the teeeeeeam in name and blood is truly one of the all time best eps, 2x09 ik she’s barely in it but she’s literally soooo cute, 2x21 for some reason i always associate open season w emily?? even tho its not really ab her akdhkshd she just looks so good, 4x09 52 pickup what a legendary episode w her gf jordan todd, 4x13 bloodline has the interrogation of all time, 4x21 its not really about her but its such a funny episode and her little speech at the end is sooooo fucking funny, 5x01/02 are technically hotch episodes but actually they’re about emily, 5x11 love when she gets hit by a car <3 v sexy of her, 6x17/18 obvious classics, 7x09 its not really an emily episode and tbh she’s not even in it that much but her saying “yeah, we need to know more about that kid” in the middle of eating is stuck in my mind forever, 7x12 this ep always makes me think of elle but it is technically an emily episode so here we go

criminal minds comfort episodes (most of these don’t have real reasons for being comfort eps tho):
- season 15, ep 4: saturdays (this ep bc it’s literally SUCH a crack episode like we got winedrunk emily, expensive papa rossi, penelope garcia running the bau. plus this is the one where reid meets max 🥺)
- season 15, ep 6: date night (final showdown with reid and cat, these are my fave episodes, they have such good chemistry together NOT ROMANTICALLY but like they play off of each other well, also max is a bad bitch in this ep.)
- season 2, ep 13: no way out (this is the first episode with frank and jane)
- season 2, ep 21: open season (the two brothers chasing and killing people in the woods)
- season 3, ep 5: seven seconds (the little girl who gets kidnapped in the mall, jemily is strong in this ep 😍)
- season 4, ep 9: 52 pickup (the guy at the nightclub, EMILY LOOKS SO SCRUMDIDDILYUMPTIOUS IN THIS EP, reid does magic for pretty bartender)

Shares of Jamna Auto Industries Limited jumped around 115 per cent to Rs 107.65 mark on Friday from its 52-week low of Rs 50.05. Brokerages have maintained a bullish stance on the stock post its September quarter earnings.
The small-cap stock ended 2.35 per cent lower at Rs 103.85 against the previous close of Rs 106.35 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in a weak market on Friday.
With a market capitalisation of Rs 4,138 crore, the shares stand higher than 50-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages but lower than 5-day and 20-day moving averages.
Long-term investors have made big gains by investing in the stock as it has surged over 1,000 per cent in the last ten years.
Brokerage house Dolat Capital believes a fresh medium and heavy commercial vehicles (MHCV) cycle has begun which is poised for 3-5 years of upcycling led by traction in e-commerce, infra, real estate and mining activities. Jamna Auto is an ideal play on revival on the MHCV cycle given its 70% market share in leaf spring.
It expects heavy-duty trucks to see a sharp uptick in demand led by a rapid increase in the demand from e-commerce for faster deliveries and pick up in the construction and mining segment. As heavy-duty trucks are covering greater distances per day due to faster delivery requirements for e-commerce, there will be a need for the replacement of leaf springs much earlier than before.
"We forecast that the Revenue/EBITDA will grow at 34/39% CAGR over FY21-24E led by revival in the high tonnage MHCV segment with an uptick in economic activities and margin expansion. At the current market price, the stock is trading at 18x FY24E EPS. We maintain Buy with a target price Rs 133 (based on 22x of FY24E EPS)," the brokerage house added.
IDBI Capital noted that the increase in tonnage volume due to axle norm has settled and there will be fresh demand for CVs as regional restriction reduces.
The brokerage firm believes that factors like flattening of second COVID wave; pickup in vaccination drive will help in bringing normalcy in the economy and will lead to better fleet operator’s profitability.
"We expect the Company to report Sales/PAT growth of 15%/26% and 15%/20% for FY23E/24E respectively. We rate stock as HOLD with TP of Rs 115 based on PER of 28x FY24E EPS," it added.
According to MarketsMojo, the company has declared positive results for the last four consecutive quarters and has a strong ability to service debt as it has a low Debt to EBITDA ratio of 0.69 times.
The stock is trading at a discount compared to its average historical valuations and has a fair valuation. The technical trend has improved from mildly bullish on October 12, 2021, and the stock is in the bullish range now. Multiple factors for the stock are bullish like MACD, Bollinger Band, KST, DOW and OBV.
Also, the institutional investors have increased their stake by 1.65% over the previous quarter and collectively hold 18.92% (stake) in the company.

hey, anon again. I wanted to message you after I finished the s5 finale. I like the unique dynamics btwn hotch morgan and prentiss as a whole, but kinda biased towards hotch so far. I would say that my fav season would be a tie between s1 and s4. s4 loses some points cause of Rossi related stuff but it had some strong eps and s1 was where it all started. (altho s2 is a strong contender now w your takes) One thing I'm still not used to about this show is the way the finales are one shots – (1/?)

hotch emily and morgan are definitely my favs lmao so im just gonna call it good taste and move on ;P
season 4 has some truly legendary episodes. pleasure is my business, 52 pickup, minimal loss, normal, demonology, a shade of grey... truly truly iconic criminal minds moments right there. i completely understand the rossi thing. personally, the atrocious acting and the just plain stupid writing is so funny to me. i think because its so bad it makes it easy to dismiss and ignore? and when im forced to look at it, it’s just funny, so i can laugh it off and call him a silly old grandpa. he definitely has some truly horrid moments (theres an episode wayy later that has his Genuinely Irredeemable Moment for me) but the rest of the season is so good i really just try to ignore it
i’m so excited to get to season 5. the parallels between hotch and foyet with elle and the fisher king is bone chilling tbh. and the practically explicit references to sexual assault? with elle we get it through her dialogue with reid, and it’s more an allusion than anything else. i think its meant to be more of a “he stuck his hand in her wound instead of outright sexually assaulting her” but her conversation and connection with the victims in aftermath is a direct reference. but with hotch i feel like it was more visual and less of a discussion. mostly because we got to see it happen, but foyet stripping, laying hotch down, impaling him over and over, watching his fists clench, “maybe this will change the way you profile” all of that can be directly interpreted as foyet sexually assaulting hotch.
and then the brutal beating of foyet in 100? again, the circumstances were different for elle in aftermath: elle sought out lee and foyet was on his way to kill jack. but its so so interesting to watch hotch’s sense of morality develop and morph and twist over the seasons and it really makes his treatment of her after the fisher king that much more brutal. i think some people like to call him hypocritical, but to me i feel like he becomes much more lenient with his team after elle and makes more and more exceptions for the others throughout the seasons until he’s finally confronted with foyet. it’s less hypocritical and more.. a change of heart. because i think if you asked season 4 hotch how he felt about how he handled elle’s situation in s2, he would know it was wrong. he just learned too late.
foyet/100 was a fun little torture session for hotch and i love watching my little guy get beat up <3 but it doesnt excuse the extremely misogynistic writing with regards to haley. the writers have never treated haley well: they abandon whatever semblance of a character she was intended to have and just twist her into whatever’s currently needed to hurt hotch the most. so doing all that and then killing her just so hotch can have another tragedy in his life was just really a bad move. if it was me i think it would be way funnier but just as emotionally devastating for hotch if haley just got remarried lmao. and his decision to return to work immediately after her death was absolutely the wrong choice. i dont think they necessarily outright approve it: they have to concede at least a little that hotch has to be some kind of fucked up in the head to just leave his son alone while continuing in his extremely dangerous job. and jessica suddenly appearing and being perfectly willing to take on the responsibility of his child whenever it’s convenient for him is definitely a cop out on their end. but unless they wanted him to leave the show, there was really no other choice to be made.
mild spoiler: there’s an interesting line wayyyyyyy later about how after haley died “aaron hotchner was never the same. which meant [the team] was never the same” and i think thats just such a neat way of confirming that just because hotch doesn’t talk about it at all, doesn’t mean the others didn’t feel the staggering effects it had on the team as a whole. it changed the mindset. there are direct consequences now. the monsters can follow you home. and sometimes, even if you do everything right, they can still win.
foyet really is the ultimate villain of criminal minds. they try to outdo him in different ways, trying to make things bigger and badder with each season, but nothing hits quite as hard as that last phone call with haley. and her final hug to jack? just kill me tbh. that being said, i truly dont think it could’ve happened to anyone but hotch. no one is as invested in the job. he’s dedicated so much already, sacrificed so much already. he’s dragged the team through hell and pulled them back to the light each time. he’s the solid unwavering pillar of the team, and he has no choice but to stand tall without risking the entire team crumbling. he’s invested more into developing the bau family than he has his own, so its not something he’s going to just abandon. and certainly not for his own sake. he lives for others so to have something so devastating be his fault rips through him to the core, scarring him deeper than foyet’s knife ever could. and even though he can’t falter and pushes on, that failure is a constant weight on his mind that he can’t--and honestly shouldn’t--ever brush off.
very happy to hear from you and very excited for you to get to season 6. i dont know how much you’ve heard, so i’ll keep my thoughts to myself for now. thank you for the update! it’s so so interesting to watch someone else experience significant events of a show for the first time. i think i was like 12 or 13 when i watched cm for the first time? i only got to s7 by then i think (honestly i dont think anything else had been released at that point) so its been a long time since my first experience. its cringy, its copaganda, its problematic in all the ways you’d expect from a crime show, but the characters are really something else and take it to the next level. time moves on, interests fade, but i keep coming back to this stupid fucking show and im excited to see someone else enjoy it.

The Indian markets rose half a per cent on Thursday, amid similar trends in their Asian peers.
The S&P BSE Sensex gained 210 points to 36,550 levels and the Nifty50 index held the 10,750-mark. Bajaj Finance, up 4 per cent, and Tata Steel, up 3 per cent, were the top Sensex gainers. Besides, IndusInd Bank rose 2 per cent. ICICI Bank was also trading 2 per cent higher after the bank's board gave approval to plans to raise upto Rs 15,000 crore to support business growth.
Moreover, TCS was also trading up ahead of its June quarter results announcement. According to analysts, the company may post up to 7 per cent decline in revenue in constant currency (CC) terms on a sequential basis owing to anticipated pressure in multiple segments due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. India's consumer price inflation likely eased in June from March, a Reuters poll predicted, as loosened coronavirus-led restrictions in most of the country drove a slight recovery in economic activity and helped reduce a supply crunch. YES Bank shares jump 5% as Rs 15,000 crore FPO to open on July 15
Shares of YES Bank rose as much as 5.36 per cent to Rs 27.50 on the BSE on Thursday after the bank said it has filed a red herring prospectus to raise up to Rs 15,000 crore through issuance of fresh equity shares in its further public offering (FPO). The offer will open on July 15, 2020 and close on July 17, 2020. City Union Bank Ltd (CUB), the oldest private sector bank in India, is a mid-sized commercial bank headquartered at Tamil Nadu, having a network of 700 branches and 1,793 ATMs spread across the country and a loan book size of Rs.34,576 Cr.
CUB reported net loss of Rs.95 Cr on account of higher provision (Rs.450 Cr) due to elevated NPA and Covid-19 related concerns.
Asset quality deteriorated due to high slippage during the quarter with GNPA/NNPA at 4.09%/2.29%.
Total Business grew 5% YoY with Deposit growing at 6% and Advances at 5%.
ROA for FY20 has declined to 1% against 1.64% as on FY19 and ROE declined from 15.25% to 9.47% during the same period. We expect ROA/ROE to be 1.5/13.1% by FY22.
We expect that current uncertainties for FY21 are already factored and with improvement in ROA and ROE during FY22E, we value the stock at 2.0x on FY22E Adj BVPS of Rs.74.1 with a target price of Rs.148 and recommend Accumulate rating

We remain positive on CPSUs in the sector despite this decline in demand as we believe their earnings are based on capacity creation and not utilisation, and they continue to trade at all-time low valuations and high dividend yields. PSUs will take a one-time hit by giving rebate of up to 25% to discoms on fixed charges and lower rates of late payment surcharges (LPS) in Q1FY21, but much of the quantum is expected to recover in FY21 itself through higher expected LPS as states continue to defer payments. Recovery in coal PLFs from Q3FY21 onwards is expected to improve coal offtake, while Coal India’s import substitution initiative will compensate for lost volumes (coal imports in Q1FY21 declined by 30% to 49mnte; CIL has already tied up >18mnte out of these volumes).
