4,8,13,15,16, for pettipaws
4. If they have a human home, what is their home life like? If they are on the streets, what is life like for them?
Pettipaws has just recently been adopted, completed her First Home Initiation/First Collar, and - after a handful of false starts - she finally completed her First independent Walk Home (with her dad watching her like a hawk - they're not allowed to interfere, they never said anything about watching after them), so she's very *very* proud of that. Until then, she'd lived in the alleyway behind the fish-market up the street, and was minded mostly by her father and Sylvani, making her visits to the Tailor's to admire the pretty bolts of fabric on display, and where the owners were delighted by their "little customer", and would let her play with the threads on display and sleep in the scrap bins so long as she was quiet.
Petti always wanted a human family, like a lot of her friends were suddenly all getting, but was often overwhelmed with anxiety trying to interact with the general hustle and bustle of humans that lived around her.
She was eventually taken in by a man, who caught her sniffing around his walk home and thought perhaps a cat would be the perfect thing to gift his new wife, who had been feeling somewhat isolated since they'd just recently emigrated/left her family, and she was struggling to make connections. Petti wasn't thrilled with the idea, at first, but Mr. Fujiwara was a very *very* gentle and soft spoken man, and very patient, and would feed her bits of his lunch until she started coming around every day to the same spot to wait for him to walk home. She kept hearing about a "Rina", and how much she would love her.
And as predicted by her husband, Rina is delighted with the new kitten - and Petti likes her very much in turn. They became very close friends, and Petti loves to sleep in her lap while she does her busywork, and, later on, she would even sometimes take the kitten into work with her ("So she won't get lonely"). Her home life - throughout most of her kittenhood - is quiet and mostly peaceful, until baby J came along, but that's another story.
8. Do they have any accessories? Scars? Why or why not?
Her favourite is her little braided lavender collar (which was just a handful of braided embroidery floss that had faded from purple), that's strung through with a clear glass bead that Rina made for her. There used to be a bell on it, but she had Jenny remove it because the sound kept spooking her.
No visible scars - which seems odd because her father is a very "let the children do children things" type of parent and would attempt to roughhouse with her all the time (and she found it funny), but Petti is very timid about actually throwing herself into things, so she rarely got any sort of out of the ordinary injury.
She does have one *invisible* scar on her shoulder that she got from deliberately disobeying the elders who told her and the other kittens to stay away from the train tracks - but it was Hamilton's fault and idea so technically she listened, but she got pretty scratched up in the process..
13. Do they personally know anyone who has gone up to the Heaviside layer? Do they believe in the Heaviside layer?
Petti is still relatively young, so she believes just about anything her community and inner circle does. She thinks Heaviside is the very top of the tallest building in their community on the roof because she's never seen it and it *is* pretty tall to a little one.
She doesn't know anyone personally that's gone up just yet, or at least none in her immediate circle.
15. If a song was sung about them at the Jellicle Ball, what would it be about?
It would not be a sung song - it would be an instrumental! If that. Petti takes a lot after her aunt who isn't much for fanfare and that includes a fuss made over her person for her accomplishments. She dreams about dancing for her coming of age ball just like Victoria, but also has intense stage fright, so she's not too sure how that will work.
16. What are their thoughts on some of the main characters in the show? (Ex: Tugger, Munk, Jenny, you get to choose!)
Her favourite adults who aren't her dad are Hathor - she thinks she's the most beautiful queen in the world, and would like to curl up in her arms when she was babysitting on her far and few between visits, so she would recite old nonsense songs and rhymes for her while getting first dibs on a bath - and Munkustrap (but which kitten *doesn't* love Munk?), particularly when he would sing to her in French and hold her up so she could see the birds that had started nesting in the eves.
She also will follow Victoria around like a lost puppy and has since she was barely walking, and adores Coricopat and Tantomile because they will always play with her when she asks - she pays no mind to their idiosyncrasies, and thinks they are the smartest cats she knows.

4 and 6 on the first questionnaire, Rembrandt and Guildenstern
Rembrandt
4. If they have a human home, what is their home life like? If they are on the streets, what is life like for them?
Home life is great! Zoe doesn't mind if he makes a mess in the apartment and feeds him from her plate, and lets him hang out on the tops of her doors, and lets him sleep in her bed when there are thunderstorms. He doesn't like when she is gone for long stretches of time because she can't take him with her, and he has to be watched by Mrs. Zellers down the hall who smells weird and has an old grumpy white cat named Ficklebricke who won't even share her cat bed, the nerve.
6. Who are their best friends? You can include characters from the show or tag other people’s OC’s. How popular are they?
James and Jonathan are his best friends, and the brothers and he get into trouble literally all the time. He thinks Jonathan is the smartest cat ever because he knows so many things (never mind that they are usually wrong), and James and he will chase tennis balls that they take turns rolling down hills. He also really likes Caramel.
He's about as popular as most of the kittens are i.e. they don't really measure based on that stuff. The kittens are often acquaintances at the very least with one another and will play with everyone, but also will not seek each other out if they're not high up on their friends list.

4. If they have a human home, what is their home life like? If they are on the streets, what is life like for them?
His pets are a Lit. Professor and his wife who live in the wealthier area of town and he (and their two purebred pollicles - who he just calls A and B) are treated like royalty because they don't have any small humans. It is kinda boring, though, wandering around that big house in the daytime. He likes it best when Missus is home, or when Mister takes him to class with him as a "boostermorale".
6. Who are their best friends? You can include characters from the show or tag other people’s OC’s. How popular are they?
He's very good friends with @theimpossiblescheme's Hieronymus, and they take tea several times a week, will talk with Victor from time to time when he comes to the Junkyard, and took an immediate shine to the head-in-the-clouds Olivia who doesn't pay him all that much mind, but he likes her regardless.
Guildenstern isn't a super popular cat - he talks alot and has the tendency to rub cats the wrong way with what he says. He doesn't mind, though - he's not looking to be liked or popular.
