Do you ever think about how many times Din was probably misunderstood throughout his life because of his helmet? How much pain he must've been in when people's opinions of him did not match the man beneath the armour... I can't even fathom how many times a small gesture or something he said was misinterpreted because of his appearance...

Imagine him trying really hard to fix it at the start before eventually giving up because it was too hard and just resigning himself to barely speaking, not wanting to be known by others after many bad experiences. I think that explains a part of why we find him so isolated and distant at the beginning of The Mandalorian.

Encountering Grogu really changed Din's life in so many ways... the child not only gave him a purpose other than bringing in the next bounty and running from the past, but Grogu also made him WANT to try and regain that connection with others that he had been missing for so long. Just contrast how little he speaks in the early chapters to how talkative he is to Grogu at the beginning of season 3 as he educates him about Mandalorian culture and history, it's such a monumental shift from who he was at the beginning.

I want to hug him tightly, he deserves the word.

i will forever love aaron and luke's relationship. i know the game itself likes to posit their relationship as older brother & younger, but no. No. i am pointing at aaron yishmir and saying That Is A Father. A Father To That Maladjusted Young Man. imagine being aaron yishmir, doctor and operative in a cutthroat government organization, and in comes this BABY. well, not a baby, but hes a TEENAGER so hes ESSENTIALLY A BABY to aaron's eyes. and oh ohhhhh hes too perfect for the NSB, hes got all this self-hatred fashioned into a fear of uselessness and being a burden, and oh service is the irresistible beacon to those fears, like a moth to a flame, like a sinner to absolution, and hes too perfect for the NSB that it breaks aaron's heart. imagine being aaron yishmir, and youve grown attached to this maladjusted young man, youve taken him under your wing, and then he almost dies but you save him, but after that he tries to ruin whats left of his life. luke is frustrating, insufferable, stubborn and aaron cant leave him alone. before he knows it, he cares about this frustrating, insufferable, stubborn young man, and he cant leave him behind to fend for himself. CONGRATS ON THE NEW SON, AARON!!!!

I love that so many of the strictly team are 100% behind layton even if the public aren’t, and even the producers’ refusal to address it formally. motsi specifically calling out the hatred on the live show tonight through her tears, tess calling nigel a ‘west end veteran’ after shirley’s snide comment about layton’s experience, the wardrobe team going ham for his femme looks and his skirt and dress outfits. ppl have been slaughtered for having experience before but it has never been this vile or loud or constant.
