Le compte à rebours a commencé Le Monde est comme un sablier sur le point de se retourner. Est-ce qu’on retombera sur nos pieds ? Du puits où il est enfermé Quelqu’un dit : « Rendez-nous la beauté ! » Avec lui on guette la lumière, la douce, pas celle de l’enfer. Regarde cet enfant sans mémoire. Devant lui se tient un miroir Son reflet dedans est noir. Tu ne sais plus dire si tu dors. Ta vie est devenue un décor que tu laisses comme on offre son corps, pour quelques billets et encore. Mais c’est toi qui portes le drapeau Regarde-le comme il est beau là, tout en tête du cortège, ton enfant qui se soulève. Tu portes pour lui la mémoire du temps où les oiseaux chantaient le soir. Relève-toi C’est la tempête ! Ici nous clamons populaire la voix de cette Terre-mère qui nous regardera passer, à peine le temps d’un baiser. Elle parle il faut juste se pencher, percer l’asphalte, le béton armé et renverser la pyramide et mettre la base en premier.

Ma joie est grande : Emily Loizeau a sorti un disque et il est top.

Rageur, électrisé, avec ses rivières de pianos caractéristiques et des arrangements aériens ou fiévreux. Elle s’est accompagnée de John Parish et ça s’entend. Les guitares lourdes qui viennent parfois rythmer une mélopée enlevée sont très pjharveyesques. Elle a musclé son jeu dirait-on si elle faisait du foot, mais non, c’est de la musique, et pour l’avoir vue sur scène debout devant son piano, je sais que cette rage et cette énergie ne sont pas jouées. Elle a beau avoir la silhouette d’un moineau, Emily Loizeau a des braises en elle. Sa musique est intense, ne vous fiez pas à sa voix gracile.

Je trouve que le mélange des influences est très réussi.

Coup de cœur pour ce morceau. Je sais que c’est le nom d’une tribu indienne à laquelle appartiennent les Sioux, rien de plus. J’aime l’évolution de cette chanson, l’ascension ressentie, comme elle sait le faire justement.

L’album recèle d’autres pépites, mais je ne l’ai pas encore assez écouté.

Une bande-son pour l’automne ? Oui, sans hésiter.
