Today you may have seen a post by me that was about Richie and Mike fist fighting and who would win.

I was sadly very mistaken and in the process spread a lot of disinformation. Such as, but not limited to, Mike Wheeler Winning a fight, Richie Tozier losing a fight, Eddie Kaspbrak dying. But in my defense, Richie also hasn’t won a fight and none of you knew that I meant Eddie Kaspbrak and not Eddie Munson...

But with that in mind, I would like to say that I was wrong none the less.

Mike Wheeler wouldn’t not win the fight

But neither would Richie

I hope you all can accept my apology. Hope Richie and Eddie have a nice wedding and that Mike learns how to use a candle stick

I have a funny and nonsensical IT headcanon… I think it would be hilarious if Richie and Patty were cousins.

IT’s magic kept the losers from meeting, but Richie and Patty had a standing once-a-month call they never missed. Somehow he never met his cousin’s husband. Missed the wedding too, flight got canceled last minute….

I think it would stress Stan out and I love that.

I just saw a tweet saying James McAvoy was on a dance floor for 3 hours straight. That man was the perfect Bill Denbrough.

Just imagine the adult losers are celebrating some big event (idk maybe Bev launched a new line or Bill released a new book) and it’s around 12am and they’re all tired af because they’re in their 40’s

Mike: “hey we should start rounding everyone up”

Stan: “good idea, where is everyone?”

Mike: “Bev and Eddie passed out like an hour ago over in that booth”

Both of them look over to see Eddie fully laying over Bev like a blanket.

Mike: “ Ben is helping Richie and Patty in the bathroom… we should really stop letting them have those drinking competitions.”

Stan: “I’ve tried…. I can’t believe I married Richie’s twin flame. Once they get started they won’t fucking stop.”

Mike: *laughs* “ we just need to find Bill and we can get the hell out of here.”

Stan: “oh, I know where he is.”

Stan points over to the dance floor where Bill has been drunkenly dancing for around 3 hours now and has no intentions of stopping. Mike and Stan watch him for a second, Mike is in awe and Stan just rolls his eyes.

Mike: “how does he have so much energy??”

Stan: “I have no fucking idea.”

This post is just going to be me rambling so feel free to ignore it unless you want to hear me be sad about dying fandoms.

The IT fandom is so dead unless it’s connected to stranger things and it very sad to me. Whenever I see anything IT related blow up it’s always because it’s a ST crossover or the Finn Wolfhard effect.

I enjoy both pieces of media don’t get me wrong, but I also want to enjoy them separately. The stranger things fandom is very active rn, so it’s not surprising to see other things tied into it especially IT which has always been connected to it, it’s just very sad for me to see the IT fandom so dead, especially since it’s such a big one for me.

Even Reddie which has always been the biggest portion of the fandom has been pretty dead at least from what I’ve seen, though I haven’t really been active in the Reddie scene for years.

IT is the the one piece of media I turn back to just as strong as when I first got into it. While any other fandom I’ve been in has been strong when I was first in it but then lost part of its appeal when I turn back to it (which might just be a me thing idk). I guess I just love it so much I want to be able to share that love with other people but most have moved on or turned to something else and I just wish I could bond more with a larger group.

There’s something special about being able to bond with people even when you topic is so underground for lack of better word, yet it’s also great to see something you have put so much time and thought in being enjoyed by a large amount of people.

I wasn’t that active on social media when I first got into the fandom so I never experienced it at it’s peak which could go for most of the fandoms I’ve been in in the past. I tried getting as into stranger things as I was in the past but it’s very hard for me and I always end up back here.

Well that’s all for my ramblings tonight.

daily reminder day 271: eddie k-tozier is alive and well and right now he’s fallen back into the longtime role of Dr. K. richie somehow managed to sprain his wrist while doing whatever it is that richie toziers do to do that. after eddie finishes wrapping up his wrist, he kisses it per richie’s request; though half-heartedly/jokingly on richie’s part, eddie had rolled his eyes and did it anyway. “thanks, Dr. K,” richie says followed with comically puckering his lips. eddie only rolls his eyes but leans up to kiss him anyway.

daily reminder day 275: eddie k-tozier is alive and well and right now he and richie are recreating their first date from when they were teenagers. it had been awkward at first back then despite their many years of friendship, but eddie feels like that was normal. it had made eddie appreciate it more, oddly. their first date included a picnic at the quarry under the stars. and though no quarry in reddies backyard now, they still had a sky full of beautiful stars and sweet kisses shared between them.

imagine eddie is alive after IT Chapter 2, recovering at the hospital. he’s been unconscious for a long while, but he’s starting to finally wake up. once richie comes in and finds him as fast as he can (of course eddie woke up the one time he left), he has a REALLY hard time holding it together. he ends up cryin’ a lil on eddie’s chest, and eddie’s all like, patting him and keeping him close, trying to be like, “hey, im not… dead” in his own little eddie way. its a soft moment.

they lock eyes at one point, its serious now, after the innate joy. Richie tells him how brave he was, sincerely, and how he has to tell him something. he needs to, because he knows if it isnt now its gonna be never. ofc eddies like “anything”. they lean in a bit, close, and theres a sense that something really monumental is gonna happen. theres sparks and butterflies and breathing and slowly closing eyes and then—

And then the bedside phone rings.

It’s awkward for a few seconds, then Richie pulls away so Eddie can grab the phone.

its… myra. The conversation does not go swimmingly, as you can imagine, and eddie’s mood is kinda wrecked, but he supposes he’ll deal with it later. I mean he nearly died, so, he has a little leeway with it. He then, still concerned, asks richie about what he wanted to say, and then richie, remembering that eddie’s got a wife and that he’s still in a complicated spot, chickens out, just forces a laugh and goes, “Your hospital gown’s riding up. Are you really so short they had to give you a kids size or something?”

And eddie gives him an eyeroll, shoves him playfully (well, as much as a shove can be), laughs, and just flops back down.

“Annnnnd there’s the richie I know. God, you’re an asshole.”

“Im doin you a solid,” richie will say somewhat weakly.

But then Eddie will pull his gown down a bit when richie isnt looking because he doesnt want him to know that he maybe possibly considered he was telling the truth. richie will be too distracted to notice because…

The richie I know, he will think, Im just the Best Friend that Jokes.
