The best female in 8: Xtreme Legends: Lu Lingqi.

First off, her personality actually suits her. The young warrior who "cannot be beaten," unlike Lu Bu whose just full of himself.

I miss when Lu Bu used to be known as a mighty warrior with pure action and not with his "can anyone provide me with a decent challenge?!" lines.

This kind of energy really fits Lu Lingqi though, because she's very young going into battle so of course she's going to be a little ...tough with words and not just actions, you know?

As a refresher to those uninitiated: this fashion show was created during the twilight days of Menphina Madness to provide the frequenters of the Etheirys Blitzball League an opportunity to show off their acumen in style outside of the Blitzsphere. Since then, Thiji Higuri - the merchant-lord and fashion nabob himself - has tested the skill and daring of haute couture hopefuls through various themes.

This time, The Regalia will be teaming up with Abbiocco Fine Dining ( https://abbiocco.carrd.co/ ) to provide an exclusive venue that will open with a sneak-peek of the upcoming clothing line! Select outfits from this arcane collection will be showcased only during this night, and will not be seen or sold anywhere else until the official release of the line. So don't miss out!

(Additional information will be provided closer to the event date!)

With two successful shows now under the Regalia's belt, the deciding of the next theme was opened to the public via poll to give proper closure to this turn; now the results have finally arrived. The theme for the third Mythril Showcase will be: "Kingdoms of the Far East." This inspiration takes from the popularized culture and history of Othard, namely during its warring periods in Hydaelyn's timeline. (TRANSLATION: this cosplay contest is based off the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors/Warriors Orochi series)

Those who wish to participate are welcome, and will be handsomely rewarded with a glamour weapon of their choosing for their efforts. This time, however, there is a twist: as there were warring factions during ancient times, so, too, will there be specific glamour weapons tailored to them! They are detailed below:

Wei: Knights of the Round/Susano

Wu: Rubellux/Tsukuyomi

Shu: Smaragdine/Shinryu

Jin: Fae's Crown

Other: Warring Triad (Sephirot/Sophia/Zurvan)

Samurai: Four Lords (Seiryu/Suzaku/Byakko)

Orochi: Hades/Seeing Horde

(NOTE: If the faction of the character you are portraying as does not contain your desired glamour weapon, you are allowed to choose from another category. It is advised you do your research beforehand to prevent confusion.)

The top four winners will receive far more greater prizes:

4th Place Winner: An assortment of Pixie, Archangel, and Statice's Wings!

3rd Place Winner: An Island Adenium Whistle!

2nd Place Winner: A Shishioji Flute!

1st Place Winner: A Voucher of the Higuri!

Contestants will be judged based on a variety of categories on a 1-to-10 scale. For the sake of fairness, these criteria will be made known to all. They are as follows:

-Adherence: Remaining within the scope of the theme.

-Embellishment: Complimenting your outfit with accessories and other small details.

-Reception: How well you command the audience’s excitement and attention.

💚 My main favs change every couple of months, but FNAF and Dynasty Warriors are fandoms i've been in the longest, since 2014, so i always tend to come back to them :] I also enjoy Sonic (specifically non-game media) and have a lovehate relationship with Gorillaz (i just like the art, Murdoc and the music rn). Also got into Sam & Max.

💜 General likes are anything halloween-y, animals, birds and insects; emo, scene, visual kei and dark style of clothing and hair, cute and goofy plushies, and if i ever start talking about cooking or food, Run. I love drawing, sewing, crafting, p much anything creative. I collect furbies, they're my favs :]

🖤 This is a lgbt safe space. I'm transmasc. He/they prns are interchangeable, it pronoun is okay (think of me as a little bug or a small monkey like my fursona is). I also consider myself unlabeled, but looking into the demi and ficto labels...

//A reminder: The Master never appears the same way twice. He may have the spooky robe and shawl for the most part, but I'm talking about his physiognomy. He can be tall and fat one day, gaunt and tiny the next. He can look white, black, Asian, indigenous, etc etc. He can even appear as a woman, or of ambiguous gender, if at all. It doesn't matter. Because the Master is not human, he has no 'canonical' or 'default' human form.

With all this said, he is also capable of taking on the forms of other people, usually souls he has already consumed. With that said, the Master is not the kind of person to impersonate someone else for personal gain beyond controlling his thralls.... so you won't see him, let's say, impersonating the President of the United States to impose a law that everyone stops eating shellfish and must make pilgrimage to the Marianna Trench once a year. As much as that is hilarious.

It's just not his style.

Maybe one day I'll play around other disguises of his, but I picture him also appearing to others as the following at some point in time:

An acolyte under Rameses II during the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt

An Athenian sailor during Hellenistic Greece

A passerby in Golgotha during the Second Temple of Jerusalem

A Viking (can't decide which part of the North)

Certain indigenous Americans such as the Algonquians, Aztecs, Cree, Onedia, Mayan, etc.

A Gupta-era Indian traveler

And so on and so forth.

In canon, the Master has don other disguises, such as an Uyghur/some other Turkic raider in Gansu, China, a Maratha warrior in India, and so on and so forth. The only reason why I'm not bringing back the Miguel Aguinaldo (Spanish-era Filipino Indio) disguise back per se is because the role has now been more properly fulfilled by dozens others in the current writing. But I will admit--I miss writing what is basically a villainous Filipino (who isn't Datu Dalugdog, at least) lmao. So perhaps in RP only, he can reappear as a short and skinny Filipino guy--or dozens of other disguises.

Note that when he appears fully as a normal everyday human, his time is short. Remember--he's not at full power without his missing Eye, and he mostly resorts to scare tactics, abuse, and manipulation to keep his thralls under his control. The missing eye, as a result, is his only constant feature regardless of what disguise he puts on.

With all this said, bullying him in his human disguise is still not recommended. Or go ahead and try. Pray you don't mind sacrificing your internal organs in learning about how sea stars or ribbon worms eat at a much larger scale.

thinking about how fast fandoms are now, i had a yearly little tradition, every christmas break i would open up pixiv or look up old japanese art blogs (which have been mostly all wiped out by now 💔) and browse fanart for dynasty warriors and its been nice to come back to it every time but at this point i went thru like every single thing (and the blogs that are gone i cant come back to) i didnt really have anyone to share with except one friend i annoy with everything but i like how slow paced it was... just me making hot cocoa and clicking on pictures ❤

im happy to be in this fandom its so chill even though its very quiet now but not dead! just many amazing artists left which is a shame

and never forget the 2013-2015 surge of shitposts and memes and weird ass dw8 rp accounts

Omg I love love love your ocs and want to know everything about them, the story seems so interesting

THANK YOUUUU. to make it short for this ask, Jiang is a warlord, who comes from a family clan of warlords. this takes place in a world based off Ming dynasty China. It focuses on him 20 years after he lost his loved ones, his wife Zhuli, and later on, his daughter Peiling. He feels most guilt with Peiling due to his pride blinding him from seeing the danger in letting her join a real, dangerous battle against his enemy clan. He still truly hasn't properly grieved over her.

He seeks forgiveness after all he's done.

But then word gets around that an old ally of his, Shangyen, has risen to power, and is threatening to kill Jiang and take over the province he rules in. This is where he begins to recruit new soldiers. one particular young warrior, Mingzhu, who's father was in Jiang's army, wants to part of this--but Jiang refuses, not letting females join his rank. for deep traumatic reasons that is--

Jiang must learn to overcome his past, by not only facing it, but coming out from it, healing from his traumas. he cannot do this alone.

sentimental posting ehehe

Today I went into A State and transferred many, many roleplay docs between myself and a friend over to toyhouse because umm fuck g**gle, and she and I both just felt more secure having our things collected somewhere that felt safer. Re-formatting is a pain, even when using the ao3 html converter plugin, but! I think I'm finally done!

Including things like our word-based dividers, names etc., we've written somewhere around 3,393,200 words over the past 14~15 years of writing together... probably a few thousand more, from roleplays that sank with Quizilla, before I started keeping a log. It's a lot of memories. It doesn't feel real that so many of these OCs have actually existed since then. It was really nice to skim through a bunch of those stories and see how we've both evolved as writers... Sometimes I forget that like with drawing, you can read old things and see how far you've come.

Maybe not a very productive day in other ways, but I'm happy with it 😭

Something a little funny is that we met because of a Bleach roleplay ad, but it never went anywhere - we somehow ended up doing originals instead? and then we never touched a fandom RP again until 2018, and it was because I was mega fixated on Dynasty Warriors and the three kingdoms period in general loool

Friend is amazing for dealing with me all this time 💕

Several of my characters from Right of Kings, an Ancerious Galactic roleplay that I hosted last year. Thanks to my players EmperorMyric and Paracelsus for making this an especially awesome RP!

The characters portrayed here are all retainers of a man called Mikeinkakokankake-Usuya, a powerful military governor of the Neyimosuchi dynasty. From left to right, top to bottom, the characters portrayed here are:

Maramike-Suyasha, nicknamed 'Mami', is an experienced warrior promoted from the ranks and Mikeinkakokankake's best tactician. Built barrel-chested like a man and with no desire for children, Maramike has devoted her whole life to serving her lord in battle.
