The Higuri Regalia - proud allies of Abbiocco Fine Dining - is pleased to announce the return of: The Mythril Showcase!
As a refresher to those uninitiated: this fashion show was created during the twilight days of Menphina Madness to provide the frequenters of the Etheirys Blitzball League an opportunity to show off their acumen in style outside of the Blitzsphere. Since then, Thiji Higuri - the merchant-lord and fashion nabob himself - has tested the skill and daring of haute couture hopefuls through various themes.
This time, The Regalia will be teaming up with Abbiocco Fine Dining ( https://abbiocco.carrd.co/ ) to provide an exclusive venue that will open with a sneak-peek of the upcoming clothing line! Select outfits from this arcane collection will be showcased only during this night, and will not be seen or sold anywhere else until the official release of the line. So don't miss out!

With two successful shows now under the Regalia's belt, the deciding of the next theme was opened to the public via poll to give proper closure to this turn; now the results have finally arrived. The theme for the third Mythril Showcase will be: "Kingdoms of the Far East." This inspiration takes from the popularized culture and history of Othard, namely during its warring periods in Hydaelyn's timeline. (TRANSLATION: this cosplay contest is based off the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors/Warriors Orochi series)
Those who wish to participate are welcome, and will be handsomely rewarded with a glamour weapon of their choosing for their efforts. This time, however, there is a twist: as there were warring factions during ancient times, so, too, will there be specific glamour weapons tailored to them! They are detailed below:

Wu: Rubellux/Tsukuyomi
Shu: Smaragdine/Shinryu
Jin: Fae's Crown
Other: Warring Triad (Sephirot/Sophia/Zurvan)

The event will take place on Friday, December 22nd at 7PM EST (Doors open an hour prior) - the day of the Winter Solstice! The location: Abbiocco Fine Dining in the Goblet, Ward 14, Plot 35 (Diabolos World). Whether you wish to spectate, or show off your own Power in Beauty, all are welcome to attend!
Contestants will be judged based on a variety of categories on a 1-to-10 scale. For the sake of fairness, these criteria will be made known to all. They are as follows:
-Emulation: Cosplaying - as accurately as possible - a certain character from a particular source of media (game/show/movie, etc.)
-Adherence: Remaining within the scope of the theme.
-Embellishment: Complimenting your outfit with accessories and other small details.
-Stage Presence: Your ability to “strut your stuff” via actions or emotes.
-Reception: How well you command the audience’s excitement and attention.
*-Innovation: Any additional nuances to your entry (using minions, reciting lines, etc.) for extra points.

Another thing I don't think gets talked about enough too is the way occupation effects like wildlife and the field of biology in Palestine. Like I've been doing some research on beetle and moth species endemic to the region and its wild how the only information I can find are hosted by Israeli biology/research sites and even western ones dedicated to flora and fauna attribute these species as being endemic to "Israel" and not Palestine.

Le besoin de justice sociale et fiscale exprimé depuis un mois par les « gilets jaunes » justifie donc de s’affranchir des règles budgétaires européennes ?
La priorité, c’est de ne pas retomber dans une procédure de déficit excessif. Il n’y a pas de tabou à dépasser les 3 % pendant un an, si l’on démontre que notre trajectoire de réformes est cohérente et que celle de nos finances publiques à partir de 2020 est solide. Cela vaut mieux que de relever les impôts d’autres ménages [les plus riches], ce qui aurait donné l’impression de prendre dans la poche des uns pour contenter les autres, ou encore de recourir à du rabot budgétaire, qui dégraderait la qualité de nos services publics.
Justement, vous prônez une baisse drastique des dépenses publiques. Dans le contexte actuel, n’est-ce pas politiquement explosif ?
Le mouvement des « gilets jaunes » a eu un mérite : celui de poser l’équation « Comment abaisser la pression fiscale tout en conservant des services publics de proximité ? ». On peut faire les deux à la fois. L’idée n’est pas d’avoir plus ou moins de services publics mais de faire « mieux » en la matière. Pour cela, il faut repenser la structure de coûts et les usages, pas baisser les crédits budgétaires. Je pense que l’on peut économiser 80 à 100 milliards d’euros sur le reste du quinquennat si on prend le sujet à bras-le-corps. On est à plus de 56 % du PIB de dépense publique, on doit pouvoir revenir à terme sous les 50 %.
C’est bien plus que les 60 milliards d’euros du programme présidentiel. Comment y parviendrez-vous ?
La révision générale des politiques publiques et la modernisation de l’action publique avaient toutes deux pour défaut de rentrer dans le sujet par la porte budgétaire. Si on y entre par le prisme des services publics, le résultat sera moins de dépense publique. Je souhaite que chaque parlementaire aille travailler sur le terrain, avec les maires, pour voir quels services publics sont offerts, si c’est suffisant ou pas, mutualisable ou pas, quels sont les problèmes d’accès aux droits, etc. Le débat national et la grande concertation voulus par le président devront permettre de cartographier l’ensemble des services publics et des expérimentations menées. Il faut que la conclusion en soit une vraie démarche de transformation des services publics. Par exemple, beaucoup de trésoreries ont moins de cinq agents. On peut imaginer les déplacer dans des maisons de services au public, à la mairie, à la poste… Apprenons à faire du sur-mesure en fonction des besoins.
N’était-ce pas tout l’objet du rapport CAP 22 remis avant l’été au gouvernement ?
CAP 22, c’est derrière nous. Il faut changer d’ambition et de méthode, pas refaire un catalogue de mesures. L’enjeu, c’est que chaque ministre devienne responsable de la transformation publique au sein de son ministère, en présentant avec ses agents une feuille de route précise. Il y a bien eu une circulaire du premier ministre en juillet [sur l’organisation territoriale des services publics] ainsi que des expérimentations autour de l’administration fiscale ou des douanes, mais il faut que tout soit centralisé.

Nous avons un rôle à jouer pour accélérer la réponse à cette crise économique et sociale.

This was necessary, however, for Lord Vrtra would sacrifice one of his own eyes to grant his sister a corporeal body, that she may witness the hard work her brother had done in her centuries-long absence.
In commemoration of this incredible event, the Higuri Regalia and White Wings (@lizardywizard) would reconvene to deliberate on a design to close off their fashion line, and after many moons, they would come to a decision: an armored robe, woven with, and forged in, the most exquisite Hannish fabrics and metals, dyed in the smaragdine and sanguine hues of the two rulers of Radz-at-Han.
The Dragonsong Robe is the final piece to close off this dedication to the First Brood - finishing at long last with Azdaja. Made exclusively with Thavnairian materials, this Near Eastern ensemble provides both form and function; protection and mobility. Despite sharing likenesses of Lord Vrtra, this was intended as Ser Dione Averre wanted for this attire to serve as a symbol of the loving bond shared between kin. The two scaled leather strips of Vanadinite wrap around the wearer's chest, whilst an additional assortment of silvery scales coil the rest of the body.
Honoring their shared past, the robe is further adorned with a single armored pauldron, modeled after Lady Azdaja's former visage as a great wyrm. A clawed hand grasps the wearer's other shoulder in a protective gesture - a reminder of the devotion these two share, and a promise of safety as the two watch over one another. Two orbs of "Gilded Giantsgall" line the cuffs of each sleeve, shaped like a dragon's eyes that further honor the sacrifice of Lord Vrtra to assure his sister's safe return.
The Diamond Sultan himself, Thiji Higuri, was chosen as the model for this penultimate garb, and has been dubbed an emissary of dragonkind for his service. Despite being seldom seen in any colors that aren't ice blue or silver-white (least of all, red), such trifles are unfounded as the Dragonsong Robe plays a greater role not only in the realm of high fashion, but in the continued relations of man and dragon. As such, he has considered this a proud addition to his wardrobe.
Midgardsormr, Great Father of Dragons, may rest easier now knowing that half of his beloved kin yet live. The Dragonsong Robe is no doubt a welcome and satisfying conclusion to this clothing line, for Radz-at-Han prospers once more.
