I had such a great time hanging out with everyone over at @heirloomvb last night! They are big @catoctincreek fans over there and currently have a cocktail called Fruit of the ‘Loom which consists of an Autumn Peach Tincture, Spiced Fig Syrup, our Roundstone Rye and orange. I only got the before shot of the show and a pic of the crowd but the “Will it Biscuit?” Stream ended up being a blasty blast over at @bufordsbiscuits this past Tuesday! I made two cocktails inspired by the biscuits themselves. Buff’s Milk Punch was a clarified buttermilk, sweet tea “brine” and rosemary cocktail spiked with @catoctincreek Roundstone Rye and the “Anna’s Gin Drink if She Was Old Enough” was made in honor of my daughter’s love for Buford’s jams. We took their local cherry jam and hard shook it with Watershed Gin, Lemon Juice & Lavender Bitters then topped it off with some Navy Hill Club Soda. Both drinks had a great response! The biscuits were honestly incredible. One had our rye mash and turmeric, another had our gin herbs and rosemary. Wackier ones had cayenne, cheese and kimchi but the last one they pranked me on and it was made with some god awful jelly beans that taste like all the bad things in the world (and apparently cinnamon red hots to trick you) anyways, I almost puked on camera so the show ended rather abruptly. 😂 honestly though we had a blast and I look forward to doing more shows with my friends at Buford’s. What a strange and wonderful time last night was for the @catoctincreek Christmas Party over at @tarbenderslounge ! We had good food, good drink and I took very little photos as I was too busy having a good time! The White Elephant gift exchange with our lot is always so strange. Had a great time today at the first annual whisky fest over at @cured1821 in Columbia Maryland! The beer from DuClaw was one of their experimental beers, called "Caramello" which has really strong notes of caramel and chocolate.
