I absolutely adore @civillibation in Virginia Beach! My friend @apesallday has been secretly working on a Ramos Gin Fizz riff for the upcoming menu and we figured out the perfect name for it. It’s punny, it’s naughty and it will blow you away! Hang in there and watch what happens next! Also, they have an insane herb compound butter soaked ribeye on their menu right now that is to die for. Civil always has a balance between light and heavy, vegetarian and gluten free options, along with all the big boy stuff that I always appreciate. Added to the line up is the @catoctincreek @gwar @ragnarokrye - A single barrel, non-chill filtered 100% Virginia Rye Whisky aged in new American oak along with Sugar Maple and Cherrywood bottled at 92 Proof. In celebration of the release, we promoted a “pick your giggle juice” Dewdropper cocktail using Watershed Gin as the base and shared that with bar guests while promoting the GWAR bottle. They’ve enhanced their options recently, adding @catoctincreek Roundstone Rye to their back bar and it looks like folks are enjoying it! The Watershed Gin was used here to make their Potion No. 9 - A riff on a Cosmo. The Gin is shaken with triple sec, cranberry juice, fresh beet juice and cranberry spice bitters. Absolutely dangerous! The food over at @civillibation is so good! This is an entirely #Vegan dinner of vegetable fritters (which would’ve fooled anybody that they were eating crab cakes), @takisusa crusted Mac N Cheese and sautéed greens. Accompanied by a very bright and refreshing cucumber basil and lime @catoctincreek Watershed Gin Zozzler. Going to bed a very happy camper. If you haven’t been here, this place makes an incredibly thoughtful menu filled with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, but most would never even know it.
