We had a lovely group attend the event and it sounds like our efforts helped close on a few new houses in the area helping out families in times of need this season! Had a great time on Saturday hosting a virtual cocktail class benefiting the @worldcentralkitchen with all proceeds going to relief for Ukraine. Over 40 participants from Virginia as well as folks who tuned in from California, Texas, Kentucky, Maine and Louisiana helped raise over $8500+ for the cause. Thoughtfully themed cocktails were created by yours truly including a wheat beer infused cherry old fashioned (Resistance), a play off a Paper Plane (Ghost of Kyiv) and a Ukrainian Sunflower. Each one was well received (I had some say my Resistance cocktail is their new favorite and go to cocktail!) and the entire event went off effortlessly. All in a days work!
