***NOW SERVING*** @2941restaurant has been supporting @catoctincreek using Quarter Branch Apple Brandy in their house Old Fashioned for quite some time. They’ve decided to take this up to the next level and now this, their most popular drink on their menu, has been expanded upon and is now splitting the duties with the brandy with Roundstone Rye Distiller’s Edition! The original drink was great. It was sweet, herbal and had a wonderful roundness to it. This iteration offers more body than ever before and this delightful autumn spice note that wasn’t there before. A subtle floral note is expanded on and the drink offers a larger vanilla/caramel profile alongside that warm baked apple slice that is just sending this one through the roof. I’m willing to debate…..is this the best Old Fashioned being made in Northern Virginia right now? Maybe I’m biased or maybe I’m wrong entirely. I want you to be the judge.
