I couldn't leave Morpheus with such a limited wardrobe... have you SEEN the comics? Naturally, I had to have a bit of fun whipping up some different looks for him--much of which I custom-sewed myself! Explanations under the cut:
The classic black t-shirt, black jeans, flame coat, and black boots (not very visible in the photo). I made everything except for the boots myself, including custom-sculpting and painting the flames.
Flame coat with black sweatpants and ruby. The sweatpants were the result of a poll where I asked followers to vote for what option Morpheus would most likely wear. They actually pair very well with the coat!
Another view of the aforementioned outfit. I also made that ruby myself.
Back view of the coat. The doll stand rucks up the back in a way I don't really like, and I haven't had the time/material to figure out a way to compensate for it yet.
Just the sweatpants and ruby. The sweatpants, including the tiny waist drawstring, are entirely hand-sewn.
Another classic comics look: black t-shirt, jeans, and boots.
I call this one the "mid-2000s Hot Topic" look. The sweater is a leftover from a Ken doll I used as a custom base, and the black converse are likewise official Ken shoes. I made the jeans and the chain belt/wallet chain myself. I figured I'd try this one out for fun, since it seemed vaguely within Dream's aesthetic.
Really, Dream of the Endless is SO well suited to being a fashion doll...it's a real missed opportunity that, to my knowledge, there was never an official one!

It's utterly magnetic when a character's rage is quiet and precise. When they don't scream and throw things but they just b r e a t h e and very very calmly aim their fury like an arrow shooting inexorably towards the target of their wrath. It captures my attention, I lean in close, I wait for the hit. It never disappoints.

Been reading the Sandman comics again and had to do my own version of Dream waiting for his sister Death. Hopefully will be continuing this and will draw Death to go with her moody brother because I adore her 💀

Someone on the Sandman subreddit said there are stars on the lining of Dream’s coat so I had to see for myself. This is from Episode 2, "Imperfect Hosts":
And here's a freeze frame:
But that's not all. Let's slow it down.
Someone else on the thread pointed out the stars are not exactly moving in tandem with the coat's fabric. It means those are not just star prints; there are actual starry skies within Dream's coat! That is so beautiful and romantic. The amount of details in this show is incredible.
