Greetings, and welcome.
Welcome to my blog! You can call me Branwen (not my real name for protection 💜). I am a deist pagan druid of Celtic descent.
I am using this blog to reblog information that I found useful, things I’ve added to my grimoire, or just things that I find cool and vaguely relate to my spiritual path. 🥰 I also hope to share information that I’ve found in my own research outside of Tumblr!
I am still a beginner, but I do practice some crafts. I mostly work with crystals, and have recently gotten further into Tarot.

Greetings, everyone! This is how I've organized my grimoire for 2022. I use Obsidian to write it digitally.
This is just my personal preference for organization, so no worries if yours looks different! There are as many ways to organize a grimoire as there are witches and wizards in the world.

My actual name is like a pretty niche desi name that would get me doxxed within the hour unfortunately,
Back when I was in like fourth grade we played this game called prodigy math game where you could set a username that followed a formula - [white person name] [mystical sounding noun][mystical sounding verb ending in -er] ! (for example, my sister was alexandria dragoncaster.) However my name was too niche to be on the list of presets, so I just picked Adriana because it was sorted alphabetically and it was one of the first!
Anyways I used that as my scratch, which was my first social media username and it just sort of stuck with me since then haha

What the heck was Manabu thinking with the structure of his deck in Episode 54? Not only is he doing a 3-type deck in a game that very clearly punishes multitype decks in the absence of some other categorization, but said types are required to be part of the gameplan for some of his newer monsters(Combustion Spirit being a notable offender for requiring multiple types on the field but needing 2 or more pyro monsters to be sent for the draw, which is less likely to happen if you build to meet the activation requirements) and his Maximum Monsters themselves are of different types and need each of those different types to activate effects, meaning that he can’t rely on type specific support to retrieve them from the graveyard, nor can he make his deck more consistent around a type without risking being limited to one effect. And we’re supposed to believe that this mess would beat a more consistent deck like Yuna’s.
Rush Duels is actually very Type agnostic unless the Deck is hyper specifically calling for Types, and even then. Well. Dragoncaster sure is a thing.
And to be fair we don't know what "Chemicalize Structure Force" even does.
It's a Doylist concern, mostly that Konami probably felt Manabu's Deck at current had reached its intellectual dead end of just being more support for the existing Pyro Support from Noodleboy, Sorako, Drill Girl and Cake Dogu Girl.
So they're experimenting in new directions, and I would expect when Manabu gets this Deck printed, they'll probably print more cards to make the triple typing a non-issue.
That and I mean the general play would be to make the majority of your Deck Pyro and a minority Aqua and Thunder, and it's not like there aren't decent Aqua and Thunder generics you can use.
Like, in show, who knows, it's clearly to expand his strategy from Pyro to a multi-attribute Chemistry Deck.
The Sougetsus also don't play pretty coherent Decks.
And it's kind of trivial about if a Deck can win or not when Maximums are still 1 shot kill cards typically.

July 14th will bring yet another round of nerfs. Enough to knock Demon Hunter off its perch as the best deck in Standard? Upcoming changes:
Dragonqueen Alexstrasza - the 2 dragons she gives you now cost 1 mana each instead of zero
Corsair Cache - the weapon you draw now gains only +1 durability instead of +1/+1
Metamorphosis - now does 4 damage per use instead of 5
Kayn Sunfury - stats reduced from 3/5 to 3/4
Warglaives of Azzinoth - cost increased from 5 mana to 6
Dragoncaster - cost increased from 6 mana to 7
Fungal Fortunes - cost increased from 2 mana to 3
Galakrond, the Nightmare - all cards drawn from Rogue’s Galakrond will now cost 1 mana each instead of zero
Highlander Mage and Galakrond Rogue are clear losers here, probably to account for cards in the yet-to-be-announced expansion.

Descent of Dragons: Judgement Day Reveals
I guess that technically, every day is judgement day when new cards are being revealed. Will they be found wanting?
Bad Luck Albatross is a new deck disruption card in the style of Weasel Tunneler. Probably not a card you’ll actually want to play unless Singleton Decks are hyper-oppressive, but it’s nice to have the option. Otherwise, while deck fuckery is not entirely useless, it’s not great either. Unless you all in on cramming as many Albatross into your opponent’s deck as possible.
Somehow not the worst Zombeast component either, although if decks are getting thin enough such that two duds have a good chance at screwing up a draw, you might be worrying about running out of cards.
Arcane Breath brings the two damage for one mana option to Mage. Given how many ways Mage already has to generate extra spells, this is probably unplayable, even in a fully-loaded Dragon Mage deck. I suppose it has some marginal utility, but compared some of the other breath cards, this doesn’t seem to measure up.
Dragoncaster is a way to get a free 4/4 along with your spell. It’s like Inkmaster Solia, except rare, and with a much easier condition to meet. I’m not sure if that actually makes this playable, but it will probably help a lot. Being able to cheat on the mana cost of more expensive spells is probably the main draw here, but the current Dragon pack available to Mage doesn’t seem that stellar so far, so I’m not convinced it will work out at the moment.
Stowaway is a tutor card for all those cards you’ve added to your deck. Finally, stuff like Waxadred and Shadow of Death stop being painfully slow, and start being something you can grab for. Plus, getting Cast when Drawn cards with this also nets you an normal card draw. You can also grab actual minions, which is good for decks that want a lot of the same Mech. The one thing that could mess with Stowaway is your opponent shuffling things into your deck, which can be pulled instead of the stuff you want. As utility based cards go, this is probably a fairly alright one.
Firstly, Cumulo-Maximus is a great card name, and it’s a pity only one card can be called that. This Elemental provides a new kind of Overload synergy, where once you’ve Overloaded enough across the game, you get a fairly strong Battlecry effect. The tricky thing, however, is getting to that point. Due to its nature, Overload restricts which cards you can play, meaning it will be difficult to have this online for turn five. This makes me think that this is less of a card you’ll want to build a deck around, and more of a tool to add to decks that already use Overload cards a lot. In such a shell, Cumulo-Maximus provides an extra burst of damage useful as both a board control tool, and as a way to help close out games.
(It also has synergy will the Shaman Quest, but that’s true of basically all Battlecry cards)
Bandersmosh is another fancy meme card. As always, “random Legendary minion” is not exactly a good pool be pulling cards from, but at least you get a new offer each turn. Really, this thing is going to be defined by the high rolls, with stuff like Hir’eek being insanely powerful once decoupled from their awful statlines or costs. That doesn’t make Bandersmosh consistent, of course, but it does make it great for comedy Hearthstone videos, and absolutely terrible for actual gameplay. This thing is going to be mess.
Nithogg is the Legendary Dragon for Shaman. Honestly, like a lot of Legendary cards in this set, it doesn’t really seem to have that Legendary zazz. You get eggs. They become minions. So ultimately, you’ve just summoned some minions, just in a slightly complex way. Based on the wording, if the eggs dies, you don’t get the Drakes, meaning that playing this against a board of minions is a losing proposition. Sure, the eggs might work a pseudo-Taunt minions, but you’d probably be better off with actual Taunt minions. Ultimately, this seems like a minion that doesn’t quite hit the thing it wants to do.
Zzeraku the Warped is more self-pain synergy for Warlock. Marvel as you get many Nether Drakes, then die. Or get between zero and one, since if a deck can’t just murder you, they’ll go straight for Zzeraku. This minion is in a very awkward place, since it’s high mana cost both inhibits your ability to exploit it, and also means you can’t play it until a point where you might not be able to risk self-damage anymore. If Zzeraku triggered when they were damaged, this might be a lot better, but then they’d be a ten mana Warrior card, not an eight mana Warlock card. Perhaps if we see some more useful self-damage cards, Zzeraku might be useful, but for now, there doesn’t seem to a package to support them.
