Prequel to my other Heroic/Valiant AU works

After switching to night vision, Dr. Zug’s goggles scanned his surroundings. Several other buildings surrounded the factory, but there was one in particular that Dr. Zug focused on. A dark, tower-like and spiked structure stood out against the others, with only a few lit windows. One of them was shrouded by a black silhouette, a silhouette that Dr. Zug felt gazing directly at him. A shiver crept up the doctor’s spine. He knew that was impossible. He was standing in the shadows, completely hidden. He had the element of surprise. There was no way anyone expected him...right?

A look into Dr. Zug's backstory + how White Hat & Dr. Zug first met!

I saw @aimasup ‘s awesome valiant/heroic au doodles and decided to post this. I’ve had this written for a while but was waiting to post it until I finished the next chapter of the other fic I’m working on.
