I made a mistake, I thought about it and drew it and now it won't leave my brain.
So I wanted to draw someone wearing a binder and holding a trans flag or having it over their shoulders and the first character I thought I thought of was King. I never thought he would be trans but now I can't get it out of my head.
He doesn't have to be a trans man, they could be a trans woman! I just wanted to practice drawing binders and I just happened to pick King..
Now I can't stop thinking about Edison being a good boyfriend and helping King with their hair or getting makeup for them, those kinds of things and just aaaaaaaa

In 1877, Thomas Edison demonstrated a hand-cranked phonograph that recorded sound on grooved metal cylinders. Edison shouted verses of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" into the machine, which played back his voice.
In 1890, the first Army-Navy football game was played. Navy won 24-0.
In 1929, U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Richard Byrd and three crewmen became the first people to fly over the South Pole.
In 1935, Nobel Prize-winning physicist Erwin Schrödinger published his famous thought experiment dubbed "Schrödinger's cat," to illustrate a paradox of quantum mechanics.
In 1947, despite strong Arab opposition, the United Nations voted for the partition of Palestine and the creation of the independent Jewish state of Israel.
In 1963, U.S. President Lyndon Johnson appointed the Warren Commission to investigate the assassination of President John Kennedy.
In 1981, actor Natalie Wood drowned while on a boat trip to Santa Catalina Island, Calif.
In 1986, movie icon Cary Grant died of a stroke at the age of 82.

Some Dr Edison and King headcanons I thought of (including some Kingson headcanons)
Dr. Edison
His full name is Michael Elizabeth Edison. Edison doesn't really mind his middle name as it was his grandmother on his mom's sides' first name, who sadly passed away before he was born so he never really had a chance to meet her.
Edison does have a younger sister that he helped raise and loves dearly but also works hard to keep her away from knowing about his line of work.
Majored in both Zoology, mainly in penguins, and Chemical science, but minored in Creative writing and took some courses in Electronics just for fun.
Has a mild case of social anxiety. He can still communicate with his other coworkers but if there was, like, meeting with people he isn't used to, Edison is informed before hand so he could prepare himself.
While he was a little bitter about being sent to Antarctica, Edison was rather happy that he had the chance to study one of the main reasons to go into Zoology.
When he gets overwhelmed by people, he tends to slightly pull at his sleeves and click his pen over and over again.
One of the members of a group called "The rule breakers" that not everyone really thinks is a part of the group.
Does tend to get easily distracted and really likes to ramble about things he is really really into.
Is actually from Canada but speaks with a more American dialect but when rambling, you can really tell where he is from.
Pansexual.
Is a 100% musical nerd and has several songs from different musicals in his playlist. His favorites are Hamilton, Beetlejuice, and Hairspray
Dr. King
Technically his full name is Johnathan Everett King but practically everyone is so used to using Everett as his first name, to the point where King honestly just doesn't care which one a person uses for him.
Does have an older brother but they don't really talk.... In fact, King didn't even know that he had a brother.
Majored in Mathematics but minored in physics and biochemistry. He does know the basics of medicine but not enough to be like a nurse
King does have some sleeping issues and would often have phone calls or video chats with Edison to help him sleep.
Can often be found banging his head against his desk but when asked why, all King will say that he is trying to drown out his dad talking about his destiny, really only Edison knows what he is talking about exactly, due to listening to his rants
Naturally talks really fast and will always happen no matter how much he tries to slow down
From Wales and has cursed out several people in Walsh.
Bisexual with more of a male lean.
Now some Kingson
King will always map out where all the exits in a room are so that when Edison gets more than a little anxious, King can take him to the nearest exit so he could take a break and regroup himself.
They have two year age and height gap, Edison being the younger taller one and King being the older shorter one in the relationship.
It took several years for Edison to finally get King to agree on watching some Studio Ghibli movies with him. Edisons' favorite being Spirited Away and Kings' is The Cat Return but they both really like Kiki's Delivery Service.
Edison was a bit surprised that King cared enough to get him a penguin plushie/Squishmellow when bringing him back home from Antarctica and couldn't bring the penguin he was emotionally attached to with him. Sometimes, Edison finds himself hugging the penguin and crying late at night
King is kinda the only person that Edison willingly and happily be himself around.
Their trope is honestly the sun/star and the moon
King has only met Edisons' baby sister like once but could tell just how much he loves her.
Edison loves it when they would have their late night voice calls/face chats and would be smiling through the entire thing, even if he is the only one awake
King has a few songs from Edisons' favorite musicals added to his own playlist, just because (totally not because he does actually really like any songs from them)

Você sabia que em 1914 o laboratório de Thomas Edison (1847- 1931) pegou fogo e com isso o trabalho de muitos anos foi perdido? Certamente você poderia descrever esse incidente como algo catastrófico, que não tem nada de positivo.
No entanto, Edison escolheu ver isso como uma oportunidade, ou seja, algo positivo. Ele disse: “Graças a Deus todos os nossos erros foram queimados. Agora podemos começar de novo outra vez.
Confira as dicas para você aprender a ser emocionalmente forte:
1. Olhe as dificuldades como se fossem oportunidades
Talvez sua casa não fosse queimada, mas certamente ocorreu algum infortúnio semelhante, ou pode lhe acontecer. Nesse caso, sem dúvida, você deve ver a oportunidade, tal como Edison, e encontrar uma maneira de se beneficiar com ela.
A ideia é pensar que as coisas que acontecem e que você não consegue controlar, podem ser as suas maiores oportunidades.
No meio da dificuldade encontra-se a oportunidade (Albert Einstein).
2. Aceite imprevistos e falhas
Quem não arrisca não petisca, e se você não estiver disposto a falhar não conseguirá nada difícil ou de valor. Você realmente acha que há alguma chance de que as coisas estejam perfeitas na primeira tentativa?
Se você quiser ser forte psicologicamente, você deve reconhecer que seus planos podem ir por água abaixo em qualquer momento, e não deveria desperdiçar suas energias amaldiçoando o destino ou a má sorte.
Se você falhar, aprenda com os erros, aceite-os como algo normal e continue em frente.

3. Adapte-se à mudança
As pessoas resilientes são capazes de se adaptar às mudanças, aprender e ser felizes em situações cambiantes. Embora tenham temporadas difíceis, elas se adequam às situações e acabam sendo emocionalmente estáveis.
A sua vida não fica melhor pelo acaso, ela fica melhor através da mudança (Jim Rohn).
4. Encontre a sua estabilidade emocional
Ser emocionalmente forte nem sempre significa estar contente, mas manter um nível estável de humor. Ou seja, estar em paz, relaxado ou em harmonia.
A estabilidade emocional e a capacidade de manter a mente fria são habilidades importantes para lidar com situações difíceis. Temos uma excessiva preocupação com a felicidade, o que realmente pode nos levar a uma atitude doentia e a emoções mais negativas.
As pessoas fortes não evitam as emoções negativas (também não as procuram), mas quando elas aparecem, simplesmente são aceitas. Aquelas pessoas aceitam tanto as emoções positivas quanto as negativas.
Aquela obsessão cultural por estar sempre positivo é contraproducente e pouco humana. A tristeza, as decepções, as frustrações e os fracassos são elementos que também fazem parte da sua história –tanto como os sucessos e os momentos felizes- todos eles ajudaram a modelar você do jeito que hoje você é.
Portanto, a segredo é aprender com o negativo e superá-lo para avançar para novas fases; usar as emoções e acontecimentos negativos para avançar e não para ficar preso.
5. Trabalhe a sua forma física
Trabalhar o seu condicionamento físico pode ajudá-lo a se sentir melhor fisicamente e mentalmente, além de torná-lo mais resiliente.
Segundo o Dr. Ben Michaelis da cidade de Nova Iorque:
“Pode parecer contra-intuitivo, mas você pode ser mais forte mentalmente ficando mais forte fisicamente, através do exercício cardiovascular. Os dados indicam a relação entre a saúde física e a emocional. Por isso muitas vezes eu sugiro às pessoas que querem construir a sua resiliência emocional que comecem por fortalecer a sua resistência correndo, nadando ou andando de bicicleta “.
6. Foco nas soluções
Se no momento que o problema surgir você olha para a solução diretamente, você vai economizar tempo e isso se tornará um hábito. Se o problema não puder ser resolvido, é melhor aceitá-lo e deixar um tempo prudente até que você consiga superá-lo.
7- Viva o presente
Se você quiser ser forte mentalmente, você tem que estar num estado presente, não antecipe o futuro e nem fique no passado. Se você viver no presente, poderá superar tais situações porque você vai se concentrar no que você tem agora, nas soluções e no seu ambiente, não no seu passado e nem no seu futuro.
Essa habilidade é também chamada de consciência plena e está relacionada com a estabilidade emocional, menor estresse e ansiedade, e clareza mental.
8. Seja persistente
A psicóloga Angela Lee Duckworth descobriu que a perseverança era a qualidade que mais contava para o sucesso acadêmico; ainda mais do que qualquer outra qualidade como a inteligência emocional, a atratividade física, a saúde física, ou o QI.
De acordo com Duckworth:
“Nestes contextos diferentes, um fator emergiu como o segredo do sucesso, e não foi a inteligência social, a boa aparência, a saúde física nem o QI. Era a perseverança. “
Para ser persistente em seus objetivos, eu recomendo o seguinte: tenha sempre um plano A, B e C. Caso você não os tenha, tem que criá-los. Se você deseja obter o que quiser terá que procurar o seu jeito de fazê-lo. Se não for assim, você só procurará pretextos.

9. Olhe o ponto de vista positivo-realista
As pessoas resilientes se levantam rapidamente após das quedas. Durante um período elas podem se sentir tristes, chateadas ou sem esperanças, mas voltam a se levantar para enfrentar os seus obstáculos.
Para ser forte emocionalmente, você tem que ter a esperança positiva-realista e a clareza pessimista. Isso permite a você: 1) ver as possibilidades, 2) ter motivação, 3) ser crítico e 4) aceitar que os fracassos e eventos negativos podem acontecer.
10. Aprenda a abandonar
É importante reconhecer que você só pode controlar as suas próprias ações, e que você não tem controle sobre os resultados dessas ações, as ações de outras pessoas ou até mesmo o azar.
Às vezes, a melhor solução para um problema é aceitar que você não pode controlá-lo e seguir em frente, evitando esbarrar uma e outra vez contra o mesmo obstáculo.
