God, I am having so many thoughts about how FRIDA and FCG are missing their memories. Because they don't have to be, presumably—FRIDA was likely pulled out of Aeor, where the Repair Terminal is, and up until a week ago in Exandria, fast travel wasn't particularly difficult. But if Devexian is D as has been suggested, then he knows that. He's used it and came from there.

Which would mean that that's a choice he is making on behalf of every automaton he's waking, and setting them on paths without any ties to their pasts purposefully. And the implications of that are so, so interesting, not least given the hubris we already know Aeor is known for.

Was he woken to ruin without having any input or choice, and found it too painful to bear?

Did he then take it upon himself to make that choice singlehandedly for every other one of his kind?

it's kinda funny to me that interviewers still think THEY are special and THEY are gonna be the one to make jannik answer the questions he never answers (fully) and give away more than he wants to... you're literally not gonna make him publicly say anything he doesn't mean to say no matter who you are sorry

So when I was in high school, we had a subject that was called "Basics of safety".

Our teacher was an ex cop. Instead of talking about the topics in the book, he usually was just telling us about the cases he was on. The stories sometimes contained graphic description of the violent cases (pieces of brain tissue on the car wheels, parts of body under the river bridge and stuff like that).

And then suddenly we had a teacher switched because apparently that guy went to prison (not anything that serious, tax fraud or smth).

The next year he was back to teaching.

I think it says a lot about how well crafted a character is when they hook your attention and creep into your brain to occupy your thoughts without paying rent when I actively want to know about them but not because I'm simping. Without relying on design or trope-baiting or anything like that, the character isn't getting your attention because you're thirsty or they appeal to your aesthetic or archetype preferences, it has nothing to do with your desire to go abso feral for them carnally--but everything to do with the fact you just want to know about them. Good and bad.

I want to comb their psychology with a fine tooth comb and understand them. See where they're going.

Like when you meet all of the parents the characters make so much sense (I mean really, the backstories for all of the characters very clearly show how they were shaped. The world building in Saiki k is seriously top tier, it's almost too good for what it is)

Kusuo is all disillusioned because his father sees him only as convenient and his brother sees him only as a rival +his mom is either completely blind to it or just doesn't care/doesn't see a problem with it. (But despite being pretty mean he's subconsciously pretty selfless, also because of his mom.)

Kusuke was seen as convenient the same way Kusuo was by his father and they both probably tied their respective self-worths to that but unlike Kusuo he was seen as the apparently less useful one- and instead of just being a little toxic, since Kusuke's a genius it was blown out of proportion into death machines and other generally very drastic measures. (A lot of people have pointed out Kuniharu and Kurumi actually, just another to say these things)

Kaido turned to a fantasy world because of an overly strict mother, whatever's up with his father might have something to do with it too.

Nendo's a very respectable himbo because his mother's amazing.

While Teruhashi's parents aren't shown I think their absence actually says a lot anyways. Her brother's super out of control for whatever reason and she goes insane if she's not validated for a single second, I can see this being because her parents weren't there to rely on.
