I truly never thought I would be lucky enough to acquire a physical (hardcover) copy of The Poppy War - but as luck turns out, I was able to do a book swap with a fellow bookish immigrant here in good ol’ 日本 📖 I know this book has stirred up some rather divisive opinions and discussions…so I am quite eager to see on which side of the fence my own feelings shall fall.
