10. sleep headcanon
dongs sik
dong sik doesn't sleep in bed or in anything close to pyjamas (partially because he's cold but also, well, trauma and depression dmdkdk). I have a headcanon that he generally starts feeling much warmer once he starts healing (and once they fix the heating dksjbnlsjb), he's definitely much warmer than joo won (have you SEEN, all those layers joo won wears?????), so he usually just wears a shirt and some shorts when he finally starts sleeping in bed again/sharing bed with joo won (who, let's face it, starts off with wearing silk pyjamas and dong sik teases him relentlessly for that once he sees)
I think he'd be a very. outwardly calm looking sleeper, he doesn't move much because he's used to sleeping on a narrow sofa
when they start sleeping in the same bed, he likes to sleep on top of joo won, listening to his heart because it's calming :') (and joo won finds the weight on top of him calming in return)
yi heon
well. he doesn't really get much sleep canonically and honestly I don't think he ever did, not when he grew up in the palace and his father......being the way he was. and it probably got so so so so much worse after the war and all the coups (I am now. not sure if there was a war in canon. but I am going off of the fact that he is probably based on gwanghae. also also lord gil and the uprising that is mentioned several times was a real thing (like he was most likely not real but he's. real fake djdjjdkd), I forgot the name of the group but I know hak san mentions it and it made me look it up but I forgot because I'm not the best with names and now I can't find it and I'm going off on a tangent now ddfdff)
I think eunuch jo would really try and help him (because like. he is his servant but also a very very caring person) but it would get increasingly more difficult for him as he grows up and he starts to listen to only court lady kim and shin chi soo more and more (and also like. the drugs) until he's unable to do anything at all and like. he's scared of him as much as he's scared and sad for him
I think hak san would be able to take the edge off his worries and bad dreams and anxieties too, more than anyone, but then he's unable to do so any more too and I think that. with the state yi heon is in, I think he would take that as a betrayal too, that a person who used to help him doesn't anymore, even though that's not true at all and it's just :'((((
11. driving headcanon
dong sik
I have no idea when is it normal and expected for people to learn to drive in korea so I'm going to assume that around the time they were 18-20. and I think dong sik learned to drive but yu yeon didn't (maybe she just didn't have time because of her studying, same djdkdkdkdk). and I think that maybe they were planning that dong sik will help her move to seoul for her studies, maybe they had even already set dates when, maybe yu yeon had already started packing. and they were planning that sometimes dong sik would drive to seoul and they'd have a nice sibling afternoon or he'd picker her up and drive her back home but. that didn't happen, and dong sik is left with all those dates and plans set but the days come and go and nothing of it happens
yi heon
he drives. a horse djddjjddkkdkk
but no, I think that he would possibly really like horses, when he was still in his better mind, I think he would maybe sneak into the stables to just chill away from all the politics and judgement and eyes, to snatch a bit of peace (and he would probably still. go and hide ther even when he's not in his right mind, just instinctually. hak san probably found him there on more than one occasion)

I think. I think that. early on after yu yeon died, I think he'd spend a significant amount of time just. lying in yu yeon's bed, crying, maybe holding her blanket or stuffed animals. but then he keeps doing it less and less until he eventually stops and doesn't go there at all, can't make himself go there. and he probably doesn't even open the room until he and joo won are renovating the house a bit (or maybe maybe when they're planning to have a child and they're making their room). and they take things down and pack things and dong sik tells him stories from their childhood, how they looked really similar when they were very little and not even their mother could tell them apart, all the stupid things they got up to in highschool. and he cries a few times but joo won is there and holds him when he needs it and pretends he doesn't see the tears when he knows dong sik needs that and dong sik is still sad, still grieving but maybe after they pack her up, he feels a bit lighter, like she really left for uni back then. and of course she didn't but maybe it helps him get some kind of closure
yi heon
when he drinks the poison hak san gives him, he's really upset, he feels betrayed and decieved by someone of who he thought of as a father figure, someone who he was the most close to. and he is angry and anxious and scared and feeling so betrayed when he's dying but. I think that in his last moments he would feel peaceful I think, I think that. in his last moments he would finally feel like he's free, free from politics, free from deceit, free from expectations, free from judgement, free from everything and now I'm just :'((((((((

ahhhhh im so sorry i made you cry and public! it always sup-rises me when people have such visceral reactions to the things that i write~ as for the line of like "all writers know there is only one way to die alone" i honestly could have gone on for pages about it and about how writing is honestly the only way to like, transfer a bit of your soul to someone else???? but i digress.
i think the m/c might be learning to be brave a little more! she really is starting to heal and growing to be able to say what she wants and it's been really enjoyable to write <3 it won't stick forever but! its good to have a silver lining.
i think that with jimin- i just try to write him as devoted as possible, because he really is like- truly loyal to the people he loves to an exponential degree, thats why i really wanted to contrast his actions with the poem because even if it's just sensual in action, its very intimate for minnie, loving the others physically is more than just a hallow desire for him.

Amostia being a stoic almost emotionless helper to Irina but the more he interacts with people as she causes chaos his personality forms.
Like him calling Venomania a dumbass is one of the first few times he's been snarky and IR is just "Ah I'm rubbing off on you, excellent!"
