I'm going to say something about commenting on fic and art not as a creator but as a reader/viewer
I really struggled to leave comments
I am extremely shy and commenting directly on a fic or a picture I like felt like Too Much
It was scary and overwhelming and I never knew what to say
But I liked it when people left comments on my stuff so I wanted to return that
So when I wasn't reading a fic I picked a word to comment. I chose "Excellent"
Wading into fics with a lot of comments for some reason felt harder for me so I started by commenting on fics with 0-3 comments when I really enjoyed them
I only did it occasionally at first but I slowly upped how many fics I was able to leave a comment on. And then I started being able to leave little additions about what I liked about it and how it made me feel. I also started leaving comments on art talking about the same things
It's still something I can find difficult but I enjoy commenting on fics and art a lot more now that I've been practicing
I know the guilt of posts that complain about the lack of comments can make it harder to do so. (As understandable as the frustration behind those posts are) But I think picking a phrase and slowly start trying to leave it when you enjoy something is a good way to start
It feels good to comment and it feels good to tell someone how they made you feel and how much you like what they did
Like I literally feel better when I get to tell someone how their creative work affected me
I know it can be really hard when you're shy and anxious but I think it can become fun if you practice

Okay but in Sonic 06, I love how Silver made a split decision that he had to Make an Entrance™️ for when he first met Sonic
He and Amy are walking around town normally when he spots Sonic
But literally five seconds later he’s hovering down. He legit threw himself in the air just so he could make a dramatic entrance, I love him
