This week has been a rollercoaster being introduced to what my next 6 months will look like. The work will be tough, but it will all be worth it in the end. I have been given tons of advice on how to be successful in this program, but I think the most important piece of advice that I've gotten is to be selfish. This is my time to thrive at the profession I love. I know my friends and family will be there for me when I emerge from the shadows at the end of November. First rotation down! Food service management was really different than I thought it would be.
