Maybe I'm just difficult
Maybe I'm impossible
Maybe I'm just one step over the edge
You're one foot out the door
Maybe I'm emotional
Too much to handle
Or
Maybe I'm unlovable

Jellicle film and TV age ratings
As in our world American ratings are alphabetical and European ratings are numerical
0/G/U- all ages admitted, for everyone
5- extremely minor threat, playful violence
9/PG- Non-sexual nudity, vague innuendo, minor swearing, adult activities can be hinted at
13/KSW (Kittens Strongly Warned)- major violence but minimal blood, fairly major swearing with occasional major swears, stronger innuendo, adult activities (drugs, alcohol, sex) can be strongly hinted at
15+/KNA15 (Kittens not admitted under 15)-Major violence with some blood and gore, major swearing, adult activities can be shown outright, extremely strong innuendo
17+/R- Extremely strong violence, language and sex
KNA21 (Kittens Not Admitted under 21)- Anything Goes, we warned you
As an example, Cats ‘98 is a KSW in America, but a 9 over in Europe, but Cats (1983) was a 9, but is now a 13 for the Pekes and Pollicles’ racist 1909 lyrics and composition that “only older Kittens would be able to understand is wrong” and comes with a warning of that when distributed
Diamanté: the movie is 17+ in Europe, but in America it’s been rerated on DVD release in 2000 from R to the softer KNA15, for it’s “clear and obvious non-sincere nature” and can now be played on TV pre-9pm

i have two questions for you miss saige, (i think that’s the right version of miss lmao) how does it feel to share a name with an american girl doll? and two, what does your url even say :’) for two months i thought your name was diana
hehehe okay:
1. so funny story, when the saige doll came out my parents were so happy to get me it because obvi we have the same name. and even cooler, saige is a painter and i am as well! but then i was actually very mad about it because i thought american girl doll was copying me. even though i was like 10 or 11, i was very self centered :/LMAO so i didn’t play with her for like a month and it sat in the box.
which now looking back i feel really bad because my dad was so excited to get me that doll :/ but it’s okay now lmao my little sister still plays with her!
2. HAHA it doesn’t even say diana tho lmaoooo. okay it’s diamantés icees which is a lyric from the lana del rey song cola. i’m pretty sure it translates to diamonds or something. skjdhdj i just never got around to changing it so it sticks!
also, in your defense, i don’t think anyone actually pronounced it correctly lol

Jellicle folk stories
Diamanté- from the 1900s, resurfaced in the 1970s
Based on the “Dolemite” series in our universe, an awesome African shorthair, cat of your dreams, and as coarse, lewd and crude as cats are in real life, Tugger and Pouncival’s inspiration (this is despite the last film for 20 years coming out in 1986, and thus Pounce was too young to watch an 17+ film)
Pekes and the Pollicles- from the 1910s, but only audio recorded first in 1959
As stated before, it’s a drinking song and has its roots in joking about a 1909 riot in London between Chinese and British dog-hybrids, infamously using very racist terms to refer to the Chinese dogs, with the original “Gardiner’s Inn” in Hyde Park disavowing the original 1909 composition and lyrics, as well as a 1962-2001 rewrite (outright slurs taken out) choosing to insist upon less offensive rhymes because “times have moved on, and what young cats may have found ok and even funny back then, are not now, and we ask that you respect that”
The song has morphed beyond its dark roots, becoming celebratory and even somewhat of a folk tale to tell and dramatise
The first modern Jellicle Ball-1765
A story of the first modern ball, held in a forest outside of a Prussian mansion officially, as diplomat cats and the first factory cats connected to the moon
