Here’s something I love about the antagonists of Kamen Rider Geats…They are chaos-thriving monsters and they friggin own it! They don't make up excuses or try to justify their actions, they just do the most unnecessary & wildest shit just cause they’re bored and petty.

A Villainous Game Show
A Villainous and Kamen Rider Geats crossover idea.
Basically, instead of Black Hat creating a villain-help company for his retirement, he creates his version of the Desire Grand Prix, where he's the person who will grant the winner their wish. Flug will be the one who creates the Raise Buckles and, if you don't want an oc, the Jyamato. Demencia can act as the Gazer or ace fighter, and 505 can stay the mascot. You also have room for your own characters for game masters, Jyamato gardeners, security guards, and a navigator. Heck, you can have them recruit Miss Heed as a navigator due to her thirst for attention.
For the supporters. They can be members of the villain community who are Black Hat's primary audience. In exchange for funding the show, they can also request quests for the games. For example, Penumbra can request a game where the Kamen Riders have to defeat Sunblast for her.
Basically, it's a story that focuses on the D.G.P. staff instead of the contestants.

Decided to give my DGP Ridersona another draw (on actual real estate this time to boot), but then I went above and beyond and upgraded myself to a (theoretically) extremely effective form~! Here's hoping I survive the Grand End, yeah?
The first is my previous Zagizuki, redrawn on a bigger canvas with discernible detail now~! ...also a little more show accurate, with the small Buckles' actual eye color. In love with the helmet and scarf. Doing the ID Core was a little difficult, and... well, it's defintely a bit more orange than I intended, but that's okay!
I'm oddly kind of enamored with the super yellow color palette for Powered BuilderMonster. Complete with even bigger hammer! Drawing it was a fun experience... staying up late to do so wasn't as much, but hey~! Drawing the Monster Buckle so small was hard, but pretty worth it.

KR Geats' production conflict
There are some who said that the final quarter of the show feels cramped/rushed, and I was also worried when Geats is ending, not due to wanting it stay or have "season 2" or such, but because it never gave me the feeling that the series is almost done wrapped even at ep. 38 (so extended series after ending/"season 2" won't work on this either).
Well, I know dwelling on it won't do anything, but I guess I've found the likely reason that it feels that way, so at least there's closure for me. The reason seem to be this decision (from this link):
Takebe wanting to Sara's screentime as the beacon of light, which primarily affects how pushed forth Keiwa's heel turn was, which Takahashi planned earlier. But I think the series as a whole got slowed down in the middle for this, in Yearning arc that focuses on Sara's stint as Hakubi in DR, and the first few episodes of Genesis arc.
So overall, ep. 34-40 of the series (it's said too above Keiwa's heel turn is pushed to forties). May also explain why the primary Rider (by extension the others) gets final form really late compared to usual.
The series did get concluded without being left hanging much, thanks to Ace's powers despite the stakes, and the cast do get closure, which dispelled some of my worries, but there are handful moments I want to see in the series listed in link below:
Looking forward for these in KR Geats if it has more/enough time
Though after all of this, don't get me wrong, this isn't a hate for Sara. Reject Kekera's view of her as an expendable story element instead of a person, and fans who wished the same "for Keiwa's sake" (e.g. going dark for his "success").
By filling in Sara about the DGP (as Hakubi), she did become a beacon to raise the morale of the conflicted Keiwa and Neon, fighting for the latter's happiness to encourage her believing in her fans and her authenticity as a person. I think this'd be some of my suggestions to keep her role but not taking too long in middle:

Though dunno if the initial plan will still have Yearning DR created or not, but to instead kill Sara off at the end of JGP. There are required plot progression done in Yearning arc like Ace and the DGP team figuring out the Goddess. Keiwa's next schemes and Bujin Sword debut also needs Tsumuri's role to be known, as his means to the end, his "shortcut".
To wrap it off, I'd accept and want for Geats to be acknowledged as breaking Reiwa KR's curse (quality wise), but I do have personal disappointments that there's still a conflicting decision after a strong start where it's a complete package of a season that excels in what not much seasons can pull off like the mystery building, plot point, its action (IMO), and how there are no outright bad episodes generally, which I felt it was consistent due to how it feels planned from the beginning to me (like Build), rather than making last minute decisions.
Decision change can be something well-received like Hiromi's extension (I liked it as a build up for Vail plot twist), and there can be cancelled decision that likely turns out better like Gaim-esque ending for Geats planned before Battle Royale movie.
But for Sara one, Geats is already very tight, not enough room even with Geats' fast pace - it already only focuses on what matters for the story (only featuring Mitsume as Ace's family, said below), without extending those that served their use, even small roles (like the quick death/departure for extra Riders... Kanato in Gang Riders or even Yukie/Letter):
Still duration management needs to be taken into account, with this being a yearly franchise that has limited set of episodes. Guess this is a case when the yearly episode format is too little for a KR season, instead of too many (much padding to go to 40+) - same reason to better have KR not restricted to yearly format
Though ofc, not taking things too long in middle for Sara still depends on how those other stuff would be executed. And the show itself may only care about giving necessary conclusions for the plot and characters (which it did), my additions above are for more extra enjoyment.

The Kamen Rider Geats Original Soundtrack Vol. 1 is out now and wow is it such a good sound track we can finally listen to the Trust Last music box remix and the cool track that played when Ace showed up in episode 1! Been vibing to that track for a while now.

How does Buffa remembers the past games (or as I call it, seasons)?? He seems especially familiar to Geats (and the only one to point out that Da·Paan had got the Magnum buckle in ep 2). Does it mean that if you win a single season (which seems to last about 6 months), you'll forever keep your memories in the next seasons? Because I was under the impression that losing the DGP each time meant you lose your memories/you are essentially being restarted upon being called back for the next season. Or is it because Buffa was specifically a survivor in the last season himself despite having lost? Does he remembers 2 sets of memories or did he thought of the DGP as a one long fucking dream like Tycoon (as Buffa did temporarily loses his memories at ep 1 upon Ace winning the DGP)?

Geats has been very fun to recap/liveblog on my main, so I decided to sign my life away to the Desire Grand Prix for the chance to become a God! First the immortality... and then the bitches. ...didn't mean to leave this blog untouched for a few months, but that's okay, yeah? Y'know why? Cause whee-heeheeheeheee, I made a DGP-sona~! Kamen Rider Zagizuki! Comes from "Usagi" (rabbit) and "Tsuki" (moon). Very catchy name, hmm? Picked a couple of my favorite Raise Buckles, gave myself a (natural) bunny motif and made a quick fun sketch. Just that easy!

Hello and Welcome !!
This is a blog for my Kamen Rider Geats rewrite/alternate universe. I loved Geats enough that I wanted to take it's concept and try to make my own version of it!
This is going to be for fun, and is therefore very self-indulgent, as I've rewritten a bunch of characters and their arcs to change it up a bit, because why make my own version if I just do everything the same, huh?
A fanfic is in the works right now, and in the meantime, I'll be posting art here!
