I love Ben Gibbard
omg guys so last night I saw DCFC and obviously it was absolutely fucking incredible and I sobbed and laughed and screamed and just total magic and he played Movie Script Endings and Cath... and Brothers and HOLY shit it was just fucking beautiful
but there was a break of silence between him playing and the audience screaming/clapping and I screamed "I LOVE YOU BEN!!!!" and he was already about to say thank you to the audience but accidentally said "thank you" right after I said I love you and then he laughed and it was pretty much the highlight of my entire life. I am just so elated. My existence has been acknowledged by Ben Gibbard and I also got the comfiest DCFC sweatshirt and an Asphalt Meadows pin and my friend bought me the Asphalt Meadows vinyl and dude it was just totally amazing. I am so grateful for Death Cab For Cutie. apologies go out to all the poor motherfuckers that had to listen to my hysterical screams all night and apologies for anyone I accidentally snotted on while hysterically sobbing in gratitude.
