It’s been awhile. Just an update. I’m back with the company! I was blessed enough to be apart of the opening team for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!!!

I’m having the best time on Batuu earning those credits at Docking Bay 7. It is truly a dream come true to be apart of such an amazing story in such a unique way.

Other than that I’m currently on the waitlist to become a full time server here at Walt Disney World Resort. A very coveted role, so fingers crossed that adventure takes off soon.

Disney Sunday’s

This was my very first glimpse of Spaceship Earth, which was right in front of my work location in Future World! It was incredible to look up at it while working and closing at night. Epcot was and always will be my home park 💕🌐

I’ve decided that on Sunday’s I want to show some of my pictures from my time as a Disney Intern since I miss it sooooo much! If anyone has any great Disney pictures please show me!! 🐭🏰✨

Do you recall any favorite/least favorite moments from your programs?

I have a lot of favorite moments and even have a little journal where I wrote a bunch of them down. But I’d say my overall favorite moment was watching Wishes for the first time on my 21st birthday. We had just gotten our main gates so I went to EPCOT with a friend (because where else do you celebrate your 21st??) and then met up with my roommates at Magic Kingdom. We were towards the back of the hub and I had a moment where I just looked around at all of the families there on vacation and kids watching the fireworks in awe and got goosebumps. That was when it really hit me that I was going to be working at one of the most magical places on earth and full-filling one of my biggest dreams.As for least favorite moment, there were a lot of moments with upset guests or issues with roommates that put a damper on my day. But I’d say my least favorite moments were saying goodbye to all my friends, because you never know if you’ll see them again or when that will be. No matter how many times I go back and visit, it never gets easier.

So obsessed with my little Alice tat. 🥺💙

Disney Summer Alumni Program 2018 Application updates!!!!

Hey guys! Not sure if anyone still keep tabs on this blog but thought I’d post an update in case you are looking through it! Sum up: I’m an Australian who did the DCP 2013-2014 working Operations at WDW Orlando I am currently (Oct 2017) working for Disney again! They couldn’t keep me away for too long haha I recently visited Disneyland Paris for a holiday and had a blast! Better late than never! Excited to announce that I was accepted last Wednesday to my second Disney College Program for Spring 2018!!

I need some advice here, especially from former DCP alum! 

I just started some new medications this summer and I have a vague memory of reading somewhere that they can cause a false positive drug test. Now that I’ve been accepted into the DCP, I’m terrified that I’m going to be tested when I get to Florida, my test will show up positive, and they’ll term me. If you test positive for a drug test and show them your prescription, will that be accepted?? 

I was thinking about stopping my prescriptions for a bit before my check-in date, but I see on the website that they mention pulling for random drug tests during the program. I’m not sure if they actually do that, but I’m a paranoid freak who overthinks everything and I’ve wanted this for so long so I don’t want to screw up this opportunity in any way. I also read that they only drug test for certain roles. Is merchandise one of these roles?

Thank for any advice anyone has! I’ll probably be emailing recruiting once they’re done with the craziness of applications and ask them just to check!
