Another break in the marathon, but this time for a new arrival.
The Toyotarou edition of S.H. Figuarts Ultra Instinct Son Goku. Based more directly on Toyotarou's artwork, with some newly sculpted elements, new face plates, and new in-motion hair. Along with a glossy photo book of every Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts released to date. No new photography, unfortunately. But it's nice to have a collection of high quality prints of the packaging photos.
Not much to say about this one because I haven't opened it yet, but look at that absolutely gorgeous packaging.
Something about myself. I'm a big transformers fan, but I used to be even bigger. I bought a lot of action figures in my hayday. I got starscream, shockwave, megatron, bumblebee, grimlock, Optimus ( a bunch of Optimuss, or optimi) but I've ultimately slowed down and my last figure was a 130$, 3rd party, nemesis prime from a convention. It made me realize that the collective cost of these things is getting pretty high, and maybe I should stop
My older brother recently moved out and as a kid he was super into DBZ. My younger brother and I found his old figures today in the attic and we’ve been cackling about this Vegeta because Look At Him
Oh I am looking at him XD looking and laughing. This guy never fails to crack me up, thanks for sharing!
Speaking of Recoome's scuffed shoulder, here it is.
It was so hot that the temperature collapsesd the miniature shelf Recoome was standing on. Thankfully this scuff was the only damage.
And honestly, it's so hard to see in person. I never really mind minor damage like this. Even worse breaks over time. Usually I can fix it.
But even if I can't, it makes for a unique piece.
At least that's what I'll tell myself!
But at the end of the day, they're just toys. Plastic and paint. They'll get damaged and deteriorate over time. There's no use crying over a little scratched paint. It's still a fantastic piece.
