Another break in the marathon, but this time for a new arrival.
The Toyotarou edition of S.H. Figuarts Ultra Instinct Son Goku. Based more directly on Toyotarou's artwork, with some newly sculpted elements, new face plates, and new in-motion hair. Along with a glossy photo book of every Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts released to date. No new photography, unfortunately. But it's nice to have a collection of high quality prints of the packaging photos.
Not much to say about this one because I haven't opened it yet, but look at that absolutely gorgeous packaging.

Riposa in pace, Toriyama-sensei. Le tue opere mi hanno cambiato la vita, così come quella di molti altri. Anche se non ti ho mai conosciuto personalmente, grazie di tutto, sensei. Nessuno potrà mai prendere il tuo posto.
Rest in peace, Toriyama-sensei. Your works changed my life, and not only mine. Even if I never knew you personally, thank you for everything, sensei. No one can ever take your place.
I'm so tasked with things to square them down, properly solve them that i didn't do blogging for the Death of the famous Creator of DragonBall,Toriyama Akira. Please forgive me.
Toriyama Sensei died on March 1, 2024 at age 68 due to acute subdural hematoma.
His Life,his Great Creations
He began his first serialized manga, Dr. Slump, in 1980, and it inspired two television anime and multiple films. Toriyama followed it up with Dragon Ball, which ran from 1984 to 1995, and is still inspiring manga and anime sequels and spinoffs today. The manga's Dragon Ball anime adaptation, its sequel Dragon Ball Z, and its other numerous sequels and anime films are equally as well-known as the manga, and its hero Goku has become a character known throughout the world.
He's also well-known as the character designer for the Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon and Tobal games.
Most recently, Toriyama was working closely with the production for the Dragon Ball Daima anime series, the most recent anime series based on Dragon Ball, and is credited for the new anime's story and character designs.
Below:Toriyama Sensei and his son Sasuke playing Dragon Quest 3 some time,in the late 1980s. Wholesome, because albeit the Sensei was busy to create(and manage his plans)he did spent time with his family:)
My Say:
We're mortals, with physical needs and troubles. However the Japanese people ,the mangaka, particularly Toriyama sensei give us the lesson:That you have the Wright, and Obligation to create something Profound and great, and not being a NEET. The man has inspired me too.May he rest in peace:)
Helles is my second favorite God(dess) of Destruction, Beerus being the first one. I think she is really pretty, despite the fact how she appears quite vain, but I think it suits her character. 😃 I decided to draw her my way, which was quite fun. 😊

From Dragon Ball Super Hero - aka How Gohan Got His Groove Back - comes Gohan and Pan.
Pan was a (very recent) Premium Bandai release, and comes with an extra head for Papa Gohan - shown here.
Gohan is still available at regular retail for under $40usd - and it is an absolutely incredible figure.
The new body sculpt is the single best do-gi (the martial arts uniforms they all wear) sculpt they've done yet, and the new articulation and musculature are astounding for the price of this toy.
Pan is very fun and emotive - a great new take on the chibi style body they've been using for the Dragon Ball kids.
But word of advice to anyone getting their Pan - every joint on this figure is tight.
Make sure you use a little shock oil on the joints and rotate them gently before you pose her.
