Cognac: yesterday, I overheard Kuru saying “are you sure this is a good idea?” And Quitela replying “trust me” and I have never moved from one universe to another so quickly in my life

“All right, hear me out.  We’ll call it ‘Dragon Ball Super,’ okay?  And we’ll spend the first 28 episodes redoing the movies, but with worse animation.  Then we’ll get in a tournament that’s a total mismatch, with each finish screwier than the last!  And then we’ll do a time travel story with an unsatisfying ending! Oh, and all our chins will be really pointy for some reason.  And then we’ll team up with Frieza!  Well, what do you think?”

Okay, so the Universe 7 team is down a man after Buu fell into a deep sleep, so they need a tenth member.  And they definitely need a tenth member.  As the Supreme Kai puts it, Grand Zeno specifically called for each universe to field a team of ten.  Showing up with nine might irritate Zeno enough to disqualify the team and destroy their universe before the event even begins.

So Goku’s big idea is to recruit Frieza.  No one likes the idea of resurrecting him with the Dragon Balls again, but Goku plans to use Fortuneteller Baba instead, as she has the power to bring back dead fighters for one day.  We saw her use this with Grandpa Gohan, then Goku, then Vegeta.  So even if Goku’s plan backfires, Frieza can only do so much mischief in a single days’ time. 

The others are still skeptical, and Vegeta suggests they get literally anyone to stand in as their tenth member.  That guy can jump out of the ring immediately and let the rest of them fight.  Goku asks Whis if they can win with just the nine of them, and Whis thinks they might be in trouble if they tried that.  He doesn’t know anything about the other teams, but he has heard of one universe with a mortal who defeated a God of Destruction.  I’m pretty sure he’s talking about Jiren, but he doesn’t get into specifics.  Whis also adds that this was no pushover god that was defeated, either.  This one was stronger than Beerus, and the mortal still won, so the competition will be stiff to say the least. 

Meanwhile, in Universe 6, Caulifla tries to get Kale to turn Super Saiyan, but Kale isn’t very confident about it.  Caulifla and Cabba try insulting Kale to get her mad, but that goes poorly, as Caulifla gets offended on Kale’s behalf.  While they bicker, Kale gets frustrated with her own inability and...

Whoa that ain’t good.  Or is it?

Meanwhile, in Universe 4, Ganos delivers news to Quitela and Kuru.  Ganos is one of the U4 team, but Quitela sent him to spy on Universe 7 and he learned about the plan to recruit Frieza.  This gives Quitela a brilliant idea...

Back in U6, Kale goes wild, attacking Cabba in particular.  Cabba speculates that Kale must have felt like she was being left behind with all this Super Saiyan business, and she’s lashing out in jealousy. 

So Caulifla gets between them and tells Kale that it’s ridiculous to think she’d be “attracted” to someone like Cabba, and Kale “means the world” to her.  Yeah, I think the dub abandoned any pretense of subtext, and this dialogue is more about how clearly they can spell it out without just announcing they’re gay.  I mean, this sort of talk is basically how they handled the Trunks/Mai relationship earlier in the series. 

Anyway, this calms Kale down, and Cabba realizes that he may have just found another recruit for the Tournament of Power.

In hell, Goku approaches Frieza with his proposal, and Frieza makes a counteroffer: He’ll join the team, but only if Goku agrees to wish Frieza back to life with the Dragon Balls.  Goku suggests that Frieza could use the Super Dragon Balls awarded at the end of the tournament, but Frieza doesn’t think so.  He doesn’t need a “super-wish” for his resurrection, and that prize only goes to the MVP of the team.  No, he’ll settle for a promise from Goku to wish him back with the regular Dragon Balls.  Goku is reluctant, but Frieza hints that he’s managed to get even stronger while in hell, but Goku won’t get to test himself against that power unless he wishes Frieza back.  And that convinces Goku to agree to his terms. 

Now, this always kind of bugged me, because Frieza seems to be under the mistaken impression that Earth’s Dragon Balls can revive him, even though Goku knows that they can’t be used to resurrect someone a second time.  Goku should be aware of this rule, since he’s had to cope with it on more than one occasion.  And yet, he agreed to Frieza’s terms without correcting him on the matter.  So was Goku tricking Frieza, or was he planning to use the Namekian Dragon Balls, and just didn’t want to bother explaining that to him?

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter, as we’ll see in the final episode, but it always bothered me how we didn’t know if Goku was playing Frieza or not. 

Anyway, Goku makes the arrangements with Baba, and we’re all set.

hola amigos ¿cómo están?, espero que bien amigos, bueno amigos, aquí va un nuevo dibujo y que presento a cinco de los personajes del unvierso de Dragon Ball Super, los cuales están posando para no sólo mostrar su musculatura actual, sino que también mostrar la verdadera fuerza que poseen y que normalmente no la muestran ante los mortales para que estos se confíen a la hora de pelear contra ellos, aunque han sido muy pocos los personajes que han sido capaces de ponerle un dedo hacia ellos, al ver que son chicos que su nivel de poder es tal que prácticamente pueden destruir planetas completos con solo un simple golpe hacia el suelo, además de que pueden vencer a sus enemigos con una facilidad que hace que tengas pocos rivales que puedas atrever a retarles su dominio y poder, así que sin dar más vueltas presento a Bills, Champa, Liquiir y Quitela Posar Junto con el Supremo Zenosama y Enseñar sus Poderosos Músculos de Dios de la Destrucción

Aquí vemos a los dioses de la destrucción de los universos 6, 7, 8 y 4 encontrarse a solas en uno de los múltiples salones de Zenosama y se observa a los chicos preguntarse la razón por la que el mismo rey todopoderoso de los 12 universos los citó a ellos personalmente y tenemos que el joven rey dios se aparece entre ellos y notan que su cuerpo físico tenia un aspecto algo diferente y se observa que Zenosama no solo había vuelto a ser un solo ser, sino que además, se había fusionado con su equivalente del futuro para crear un ser poderoso que ahora puede destruir todo los universos de un solo golpe si alguna vez lo provocan e intentan armar un conflicto para quedarse con el control de la Dimensión de la Nada y que es el único punto de unión que hay entre los múltiples universos que existen, mientras se observa que el joven rey dios se pone a estrenar su nuevo cuerpo y lo hace mostrando su poderosa musculatura y de ese modo sepan que cuando se meten con él, no se meten a un dios debilucho que puedan acabar rápidamente y notamos que los chicos al quedar sorprendidos de su tamaño y fuerza ganada tras mucho tiempo de entrenamiento con diversos guerreros de los 12 universos, vemos que los 4 dioses de la destrucción deciden tener una competencia de musculatura en dónde los chicos se ponen a mostrar sus poderosos músculos ante el mismo dios rey de los 12 universos y vemos que queda tan sorprendido que decide citar a los dioses de la destrucción de los 12 universos para tener una competencia amistosa entre ellos y ver quién de ellos tiene el cuerpo más muscular y fornido de los 12 universos, pero que solo pueden competir los dioses de la destrucción de los 12 universos y que estos se dedicarán a posar entre el mismo rey dios todopoderoso y con eso, ver qué tan alto pueden ser sus límites de poder y fuerza y esto sin que ellos sean un reto para el rey dios que puede destruir universos enteros y que puede hacerlo si alguna vez intentan retar su autoridad o también terminan haciéndole daño alguna vez

Bueno amigos, espero que les guste, al ver que hace tiempo que estaba con planes de dibujar a estos chicos que están entre mis personajes favoritos del universo de Dragon Ball Super y que vemos a ellos mostrar una fuerza y poder que normalmente la reservan solo ante seres más poderosos que ellos para que los mortales se confíen de su apariencia y así dar cuenta de que estos chicos son muchos más fuertes de lo que parecen en primer lugar y que sus poderes son tan grandes que pueden destruir mundos completos y que ello implica la destrucción de miles de millones de vidas que hacen que provocarles sea un precio muy alto que haya que pagar y que lo conveniente es no entrar en pelea contra estos chicos sino quieres que tu universo sea destruido en poco tiempo, bueno amigos, disfruten el dibujo y nos vemos

I hope you are well friends, well friends, here is a new drawing and I present five of the characters from the Dragon Ball Super universe, who are posing to not only show their current musculature, but also show the true strength they possess and that they normally do not show it to mortals so that they trust when fighting against them, although very few characters have been able to put a finger on them, seeing that they are guys that their level of power is such that they can practically destroy entire planets with just a simple blow to the ground, in addition to that they can defeat their enemies with an ease that makes you have few rivals who can dare to challenge their dominance and power, so without thinking any further I present Beerus, Champa, Liquidate and Quitela Pose Together with the Supreme Zenosama and Show off their Powerful Muscles of God of Destruction

Here we see the gods of destruction from universes 6, 7, 8 and 4 meet alone in one of Zenosama's multiple rooms and the boys are observed wondering why the almighty king of the 12 universes himself He summoned them personally and we have that the young god king appears among them and they note that his physical body had a somewhat different appearance and it is observed that Zenosama had not only returned to being a single being, but also had merged with his body. equivalent of the future to create a powerful being that can now destroy the entire universes in one fell swoop if ever provoked and attempt to conflict for control of the Dimension of Nothingness and that is the only point of union there is among the multiple universes that exist, while watching the young god king show off his new body and show off his powerful musculature so that they know that when they mess with him, they don't mess with a weakling god that they can finish quickly and we notice that the boys, being surprised by their size and strength gained after a long time of training with various warriors from the 12 universes, we see that the 4 gods of destruction decide to have a muscle competition where the boys put show off his powerful muscles before the god king of the 12 universes himself and we see that he is so surprised that he decides to summon the gods of destruction of the 12 universes to have a friendly competition between them and see who among them has the most muscular body and of the 12 universes, but that only the gods of destruction of the 12 universes can compete and that they will dedicate themselves to posing between the almighty god king himself and with that, see how high their limits of power and strength can be and this without them being a challenge to the god king who can destroy entire universes and who can do it if they ever try to challenge his authority or also end up harming him sometime

Well friends, I hope you like it, seeing that for a long time I was planning to draw these guys who are among my favorite characters in the Dragon Ball Super universe and that we see them show strength and power that they normally reserve only before beings more powerful than them so that mortals trust their appearance and thus realize that these guys are much stronger than they first appear and that their powers are so great that they can destroy entire worlds and that this implies the destruction of billions of lives that make provoking them a very high price to pay and that it is convenient not to fight against these guys if you do not want your universe to be destroyed in a short time, well friends, enjoy the drawing and see you

How do you see Campari and Cognac get along with their GoD and Kaioshin?

Campari

I think Camp is bit of a nerd (i like to imagine he went out of his way to learn and understand Mosco's beeps an shit), so i think he would get along with Mosco and Eyre. Like, in the manga, he literally lies to Zeno's face to save Mosco's and Eyre's skin when Mosco apparently said something offenisve in Zeno's presence. Only a proper good mate (who also happens to have massive bollocks we dont talk about that monent in ep 92 of the anime) would do that. Also in the anime, Mosco is the only GoD who thanks his Angel for sticking with him (HE CALLS HIM "PAL" IN THE ENGILISH DUB 😭) like, they are deadass besties (i like to imagine they all play video games together an shit as well hehe)

Cognac

Now, I gotta be honest, since we saw little to no Cog, its a bit harder to determine his relationship with Quitela and Kuru, so I'm gonna base most of my answer based on a headcanon I have regarding Cog's personality. Now while Kuru is quite snooty and Quitela is, quite frankly, a twat (no offence if you like him), I imagine Cog is actually really sweet and nice but really quiet, borderline shy, at the same time- which is quite the contrast from his GoD. Because of this, I reckon he has piss poor relationships with his GoD and Kaioshin. This can be supported by the fact that he didn't give a rats arse haha get it? about Quitela, Kuru and Co. getting erased in the Anime ik he looked sad in the manga, i am merely cherry picking my evidence lol.

Also, it is worth pointing out that Camp's universe has a higher mortal level ranking than Cog's, possibly as a result of their relationships. It seems the deities of these lower ranking universes dont get along with each other whereas the higher rankers are BFFs or summit lol.

TLDR: Campari has a good relationship with the deities from his universe while Cognac does not

Dragon Ball Super 094

Last episode, Goku went to hell to recruit Frieza for his team for the Tournament of Power, and Frieza agreed.  Before he goes to pick him up, Goku stops off for a meal, and tells the others that he agreed to wish Frieza back to life after the tournament.  Vegeta and Krillin are understandably outraged to hear this, but Goku assures them that it’ll be fine.

He basically assures Krillin that he or Vegeta will take Frieza down if he tries any shit.  I like this, because it’s the testosterone-fueled rebuttal to Vegeta’s earlier suggestion that they just put a jobber in their tenth slot and win the Tournament with only nine fighters.  At this point, I’d half expect Vegeta to break Krillin’s arm and then recruit Cell to join the team, just to raise the stakes. 

Now, this Frieza business hasn’t gone unnoticed.  Universe 4′s Quitela has sent spies to the other universes to try to scout the competition, and one of them learned about the plan to bring back a dead villain.  This gives Quitela an idea, so he contacts his fellow Destroyer God in Universe 9, Sidra, and shares his intel. 

Quitela suggests that since Frieza was such a rat bastard in life, then if he were to be assassinated, it would be very difficult to track down the culprit, since he has so many enemies.  So this is an opportunity to kill a key member of Universe 7′s team, which will cost U7 the tournament, and boost the chances for both of their own universes. 

Meanwhile, Master Roshi practices his paralysis torture beam thing on Yajirobe.  This was the same move he used on Goku at the 21st Budokai, and he thinks it could serve him well in the Tournament of Power. 

Krillin and 18 drop off Goten and Trunks to watch 17′s park while they go to the tournament, and Marron wants to tag along, so 18′s like “cool, whatever”.

Some poachers observe this changing of the guard from their submarine, but one of them is wary, since 17′s relief were flying around the island earlier.  This feels like it was meant to set up an episode where Goten and Trunks fought some poachers, but I’m pretty sure that never came to pass.

Anyway, 17 shows up to join the others, and it looks like Piccolo has beef with the guy, but then he shakes his hand and tells him how pleased he is to be teaming up with the guy.  This is supposed to be a tense moment, but come on.  They’re putting Frieza on this team.  17 is just not that big a deal.

So Goku goes to pick up Frieza and they do the thing where they punch each other and say “my hand slipped”.  Get a room, you two.

Then a horde of assassins show up.  It’s almost time for the Tournament though, so Goku wants to hurry up and get going, but Frieza insists on fighting it out.  But if they’re in a hurry, then...

... he’ll settle this as Golden Frieza.

Kai Pairing Headcanons pt 2

U7 x U4 (Shin and Kuru)

Just GUESS who falls head over heels for that one pretty kai with feminine features? Just guess? That anxious boi Shin.

One day he was visiting the 4th universe's god of destruction Quitela, to send him a message from his god of destruction, Beerus. And the first thing he sees is his supreme kai Kuru leaning against the entrance with a miniature compact mirror floating in front of him while his delicate hands apply his eyeliner.

Shin clears his throat to catch his attention, Kuru closes his mirror and spots the smaller Kai wave at him.

"Well, well ,well, look who came three universes away just to see me? Shin, right?", he asks while he smooths out his mohawk, as it pops back up in it's usual stature

Hold on, he looks.. different? No, it's not the eyeliner of course. Shin has only looked at Kuru from afar along with Quitela in the tournament of power but now, he has the full visual of him clear as day and more close than before. 'Wow, he looks more beautiful in person than I saw him last time.' His creamsicle skin was glowing in the ambience of the palace's lighting, his cheekbones were vibrant and his voice was as angelic as can be.

He's like a prince

"Um, dear Shin?...hello? Earth to Shin?" Kuru gently asks while waving to the other kai's face trying to get him back to reality.

"Oh! R-right, Earth to Shin, ah I love pur planet earth, even more than the moon who needs that?" Shin stammers nervously as he's broke from his daze.

Kuru chuckles at his abrupt but funny remark, "You sure have a great sense of humor I see. So what brings you here to see me if I may ask again?"

Poof..all that thought on Kuru's distracting but intricate appearance just made all his other ideas disappear and left his mind as empty as a blackboard.

Was it about...telling Quitela about mortal levels? Pah, why would he care?

"Is it about our mortal levels?" Kuru asks.

"...oh-Yeah-I mean- yes sir." Sir?? Really Shin? He's not a god of destruction for Kami's sake!

After a Christmas break, I'm almost ready to restart! Had to skip Quitela due to zero inspiration on the statue, so I decided to do Ea's, I could call this "Ea and his creations". The reference statue is Ugolino and his sons. By the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux (1827-1875).
