Hello I’m loving all the snippets of the smalls au I was wondering how it’ll go once she meets the monsters?

How in the world did that go unmentioned in the books? Why was that such an insignificant detail that the author (god? she still needs to figure that out) wouldn't think to mention that the man who was terrorizing Neil for the first book was five foot nothing?
"Janie sweetie, do you have something you'd like to drink?" Abby asks distracting her from the minor meltdown she was having over this particular character...person...devil being a shortie.
"Water is fine. Thank you." she answers and turns her gaze over. Nicky looks about what she suspected if not more uninterested than she remembered him being. Maybe it's just due to the fact that she was a girl?
She shifted her gaze to the final man she only knew about through words in a book series she never finished.

I assume 17 is the Alethi/etc age of adulthood? Because of 17 on Roshar being roughly equivalent to 18 on Earth and also because of Shallan being 17 when she does All That but also Sadeas is 16 in ob 3 committing crimes against humanity with zero parental supervision whatsoever so it’s like ???????
#I’ve always had it so Dalinar and Sadeas first hooked up when they were 21 and 18 respectively#just to make things feel absolutely comfortable in my brain#I think Sadeas had a thing for Dalinar from the moment he met him but Dalinar sort of slow burned from#’this is a fucking infant’ (when he’s 18 and Sadeas is 15) to ‘I need to suck him sloppy style posthaste’ (when he’s 21 and Sadeas is 18)#and it was very gradual. but hey there may come a day when your brain finally lets you process#that your best buddy states very intently at your naked torso when you’re changing in front of him#and you’re like does….. does sadeas….. Having stayed up past my bedtime to finish Episode 7 of Twenty Five- Twenty One I would liked to take a moment to say:
Fuck you@lurkingshan for recommending this stupid fucking fencing show that keeps making me super fucking emotional in a vicious, endless cycle! How dare you make me sob in my living room at one am over a fucking referee call! I thought we were friends, how could you do this to me?!?! Do you harbor any guilt whatsoever knowing that I cried through all three of the episodes that I watched today!!
^Look at my beloved girl, look at her sobbing in the street. This is me, on my couch, right now. Look at what you have done to me!
Anyway, it may not be a BL but I do think everyone should watch Twenty Five Twenty One it is fantastic so far and it making my heart so full.

I decided this year that being introverted was no excuse for avoiding people, and that I needed to focus less on shyness and more on community building and Being Brave For Once, and so naturally one of the steps I took was attending an English department socialization event today--the first time I have ever attended one of their events. And boy did that come This Close to making me regret stepping out of the house
#if you ever find yourself in an enclosed space with twelve english majors i'm telling you SHOUT A HASTY GOODBYE AND SCOOT#that's an exaggeration sorry i love english majors also i am one so i feel some license to make fun every once in a while#HOWEVER#if y'all have ever sat through 15+ minutes of arts major girls complaining about the Trials of being a woman and whining about Men......#in front of the ONE MAN who showed up for the party. poor boy#it is an incomparable experience and one that i would not wish on anybody#on another point the eng department party that showed up hit all the bingos today in terms of conversation:#death of the author. book piracy (one of the exec team girls ADVOCATED for this). how Evil the british monarchy is#(like. girls the queen just passed away last year also can we please not ridicule people in this very contemptuous and cruel way)#gender and politics. gender and ideology. gender and--you get it#cheating in class (one of the exec team girls ADVOCATED for this too)#complaining about the university's policies and system.#also did i mention complaining about Men#it was a Lot and i hobbled back home with a headache#am i going back?? remains to be seen!!!! i’ve really been an army for over six years huh. i’ve been an army for almost a third of my life
#i was 15 when i discovered them. jk was fucking 19 and now i’m 21 and hes turning 26 like i’ve actually grown up with them#i’m so excited and impatient for the future with them but im also sad for all the experiences i had as a baby army that i can never get back#my first year as an army was almost entirely on tumblr and the community used to be so big and social and just. so much fun#even my first couple years on army twt feel so nostalgic now. there were bad things of course but also so many great things#i just feel so lucky to have lived through these last few years with them and i never want to lose those feelings#aeron.txt#it’s so cliche but there really are so many things that you just had to be there for#the struggle of joining their fancafe (i definitely gave up after the first few tries)#the first bangtan bomb they added closed captions to (and when they took them away as punishment for spreading an exclusive fancafe video)#(i still hold that video of the tannies taking turns kissing taehyung so very close to my heart)#their first ever bbma. their first performance at the amas#the creation of bt21#the post-concert vlives during tours#bon voyage to look forward to every summer#jimin’s silent twitter videos#we’ve consistently gotten so much from them and i’m so happy for all that we’re continuing to get#i never want to seem like i think the old days were ‘better’ or like i’m not just as grateful for what they give us now#i just get so nostalgic and melancholy when i think of all the things that we don’t get to experience anymore#i was so young and going through some of my most formative years and it’s such a unique feeling to have grown up alongside bts#i’m still growing up with them. so much of what they taught me years ago is only now showing up in the decisions i make about my life#god i love them so much i love them so so so much
