DAY6 Sungjin Birthchart analysis

Based on my opinion and observations. Not a professional astrologer. May change later.

Capricorn sun people are often natural leaders who are hard working and determined. Sungjin is a good and kind leader, he's always working towards improvement and helping his members. He nags at times but not to the point that the members claim him to be overbearing.

He's also pretty funny lol. Capricorns honestly have an underrated sense of humor.

Capricorn sun and Scorpio moon is a reserved and ambitious combo. Capricorn's determined nature + Scorpio's passionate drive makes for a pretty unstoppable person. He knows what he wants and works hard for it; he works towards success and improvement. He even entered in a singing competition when he was younger and won.

Capricorn Mercury likes to get to the point. It's also likely why he tends to nag. I've noticed Capricorn placements - especially Mercury - like to nag at others. He may struggle a bit with being patient with others but does not seem rushed or forceful

Pisces Venus is exalted and may be what gives him a bit of a playful, romantic energy. I think this softens his chart a lot, especially considering he has a Scorpio moon and several Capricorn placements (not exactly soft hearted placements...).

His water placements may be why he's interested in human psyche. He has said he would be a counselor/therapist if he wasn't a singer, which doesn't surprise me. Scorpio moon wants to know a person deeply, every part of them, even "ugly" sides. Cancer mars can be fierce about protecting and nurturing others. And Venus Pisces generally just want to show love and care for everyone, make people feel comfortable and welcomed in their energy. Very highly empathetic. Water signs love digging into the minds and hearts of people. These are all pretty good and helpful traits for a therapist.

Libra Jupiter is a people-oriented placement as well. He likes to help others and does not mind receiving help from others. Diplomatic and moralistic.

For his rising, I am thinking an earth sign. He's always carried a very down-to-earth energy, at least to me. He's weird but not in an overly the top way, which I think earth signs are good at (honestly not sure where the stereotype of them being boring comes from...their humor may not be "crazy" or whatever, but they can definitely be funny). Although this could be due to his strong Capricorn energy...A Taurus rising maybe 🤔. His sun would be in 10th house (with Taurus in 1st-2nd decan) and gives him a Capricorn MC, which I think makes a lot of sense for Sungjin. It may also give him moon and pluto in 7th, putting a lot of focus on relationships and communication with others

[Exclusive] DAY6 is coming together as a whole at the end of the year…Concert for the first time in 4 years

[Reporter Hwang Hyejin on the news] Band DAY6 (DAY6) will unite as a whole at the end of the year. According to news reports, DAY6 will hold a solo concert at Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul at the end of December. This performance is meaningful in that it is the first musical performance that all members announce as a team after ending their 'military period' (military + gap period). Leader, vocalist and guitarist Sungjin was discharged from active duty in the army in September last year, and vocalist and bassist Young K, who became the first idol singer to become a KATUSA soldier, finished his military service in April of this year. Drummer Dowoon was discharged from the army in July, and Wonpil, the first idol singer to enlist in the navy, became a civilian on November 27. It has been four years since the concert in December 2019 that DAY6 met with fans My Day through a face-to-face group concert. As existing songs such as 'You Were Beautiful' and 'Time of Our Life' were re-examined in 'Military Baekgi', and the charts were resurrected, it is expected that a ticket war will break out as the firepower of new fans is added to existing fans. Through this performance, the members said, "Our story will continue." Let's meet again with a smile" and "I want to come back in a good way and play with My Day (DAY6's official fandom name) on the stage." In particular, Wonpil proved his special love for DAY6 My Day by volunteering in the Navy, which has about two months longer service days than the Army, and taking about a month off to quickly recover his musical sense. The fact that there are quite a few live stages that will be revealed for the first time in this performance also raises the expectations of prospective audiences. DAY6 was unable to present all the songs from their 6th mini album "The Book of Us: The Demon" (released in May 2020) and 7th mini album "The Book of Us: Negentropy - Chaos Swallowed Up in Love" (released in April 2021). DAY6, who debuted as JYP Entertainment's first band in September 2015, established themselves as 'Trust and Listen in DAY6' by making numerous self-composed songs such starting with 'Congratulations', followed by 'Letting Go,' 'You were Beautiful,' 'I like you,' 'days gone by,' 'Time of Our Life', 'Zombie', and 'Right Through Me'. In just four years since its debut, DAY6 has achieved achievements such as exceeding 100 live performances, holding two world tours, and winning the Best Band Performance Award at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards. They signed a renewal contract last September, the 7th anniversary of their debut, and promised to write countless pages of the second act together. DAY6, who has confirmed the long-awaited group concert, will appear on KBS Cool FM's "DAY6's Kiss the Radio" at 10 p.m. on November 28th.

I am from Germany and was born in 2001

I have only been a K-Pop fan since early 2023 when I accidentally stumbled upon a Stray Kids sickfic on ao3

I switched to tumblr now because a) some friends have my ao3 and I feel weird posting there and b) the K-Pop community is more active here and I feel so thankful for every like and comment and interaction I receive here since it doesn’t feel like I am writing into the void now <3

I am currently writing my thesis in Theology (though I didn’t study theology, if you are interested how that came to happen, ask XD) so I might drop off the face of earth spontaneously if I don’t focus more on that soon…

these were the first lyrics that popped up for me so i just chose this

you put the phone up to your ear as she picked up.

"y/n? what's wrong?"

"nothing nay. i just to talk and also i wanted to know if you wanted to go-"

"yeah jihyo?" you heard her shout over the line. then there was someone else shouting back, presumably the leader herself. she let out another sigh as she apologized to you, "i'm sorry y/n, i have to go. I'll call you back." then she hung up.

you let out a breathy sigh as you looked down at her contact name. 'my only one'.

hours passed. unsurprisingly, she hasn't gotten back to you with anything. a text. a call. any sign she cared enough. you just gave up on it as you made your way to bed. you decided to wait this time.

almost always she comes back at 2 am in the morning. always busy. you sat in your bed as you watched the door aimlessly, waiting for her to appear and just on time she does.

"y/n?" she sounded surprised to see you up, waiting for her. "why are you up?"

"nothing." you gave her a small smile, "i just missed you."

"oh. well i missed you too." she nonchalantly replied as she put her bag down and got into bed. as she laid down, you tried wrapping your arms around her stomach like you used to in the past. she had always said ending the day with your warmth was enough for her to get by.

but maybe she was lying right straight through her teeth. she peeled your arms away as she turned her back to you. "not now. i'm tired y/n. good night."

"oh... okay. good night."

and not before long, you could hear her light snores. that was enough of a signal for you to crawl your way out of bed and away from her. you were losing her. you knew. you've tried so hard. so hard to make this work. to make her happy but you knew that it'd all end soon enough.

maybe if you had stopped trying long ago, you wouldn't be feeling like this. like you have this gaping hole in your heart that's missing something. nayeon was the best thing you could ask for. seriously she was. and yet she felt like the worst thing to happen in your life. she was slipping through your fingers by the second and yet you thought it was fine to let it stay this way. it was foolish really.

you've almost convinced yourself that if you loved her hard enough, it'd be okay. you'd still be happy.

you decided to sleep on the couch tonight. away from her and as a new day came around again, you felt exactly the same. you watched as nayeon came down the stairs, glancing over at you and then just walking out the door with nothing to say. you wanted to tell her to stay for just one day for you. take a break. but you knew you'd be wrong to be so selfish.

you should stop this. you thought. it'll only hurt for a while, right? and it'd be easier for her, right? almost an hour passed of you weighing your options. to stay and be miserable or to leave her and make it easier for you both. you decided to choose the latter.

you scrambled around your house for a pen and paper to just write down everything. your final words to nayeon before you'd let her go and how you truly felt. by the time nayeon got back, she called out for you, not seeing a single sign you were home. "y/n?"

as she looked around, your clothes from the closet were gone. any sign that a person besides her lived here was gone. she grew more worried as she spotted a folded up sheet of paper on the bedside table. her brows knitted together as she slowly walked over and unfolded it.

as she skimmed it, she could tell it was your writing. the letter almost seemed incomprehensible in her current state. where did you go? where were you?

but it all became clear soon enough. tears stained the paper in her hands as she stood there reading the last line.

i'm letting you go.

This is totally random and not actually writing related, so feel free to ignore. I know you are a multi stan, and me and my friend have this concept of a bias frat . Where the our ult bias is the frat leader and everyone else is a frat member. Idk why but it's really entertaining to us, and so I wonder what your frat would look like. Or just how chaotic it would be :)

WAIT this is really interesting what the hell. my frat house would actually be really vile and unstable and wouldn't last a year i fear. also yes i bias multiple people per group and you can't stop me.

the frat leader would be yoongi 😭😭😭 then we got the frat members which are uhm. beomgyu, taehyun, sungjin (DAY6 ALKGDH), mingi, scoups, jeonghan, wonwoo, haechan, taemin, (insanely diabolical) jungwon and jake.

this is such a convoluted dynamic i can't even imagine how they would function in a room together. but also i feel like there's clearly a few patterns here im so sick to my stomach

My MyDay story is kinda funny lol. I had a roommate who was into kpop and the only song that stuck to me was Shoot Me by Day6 but I didn’t think too much about it until I lived with a different girl who was a kpop dance instructor in her home country. She taught a group of us the basics of Whistle by Blackpink and it made me remember that one song I had liked a few months before, and I decided to listen to a shuffle of their other songs on spotify and oh boy I was Hooked. I was raised on 80s/90s rock and I felt like these day6 guys had that same passion that I was missing in a lot of modern pop.

I was just going to listen to them casually but then actually. lol. Wonpil’s voice initially bugged me so bad that I just had to know who he was. After that I wanted to match faces and names to voices so I started watching day6 content like jae6 (may the channel rest in peace 😔)

Jae was kind of my first bias because he was just so accessible as a brand new English-speaking fan, but then I thought that Dowoon was so dorky and adorable so I sort of gravitated to him. I ended up permanently falling for the one and only Mr. Park Sungjin when he started his Bob Sungjin twitter account (may it also rest in peace 😔 stupid hackers) and I saw all the effort he made in his roles as a leader, songwriter, vocalist, and musician, and how down-to-earth he was after all of it. That guy is passion embodied even though he’s quiet about it sometimes and it was just so attractive to me. Still is haha no need for the past tense I suppose

I did end up slowly getting into other bands and regular kpop groups and even though sungjin isn’t my ult anymore he’s still a veeeery close second 🥰

ohh that's quite a journey haha! my best friend made me listen to hi hello and it was such a soft song (i barely listened to any 'soft' songs at that time) and i thought it wasn't my taste but then i couldn't get it out of my head. and yes, wonpil's voice was what made me listen to it again and once i started listening to their other comebacks, i was done for. i was also listening to a lot of rock when i was little so day6's sound has a nostalgic value for me.

jae attracts fans, yes! he was my first bias too honestly i'm more ot5 (like sungjin at top and the rest right after LOL) but his sense of humour and his relatable personality did it to me. jae6 was my fav thing ever too and sungjin's account 😔😔 i miss that time a lot

the day6 fever never stopped honestly there's always a day6 or a day6's member's song in my playlist. i only listened to a few bands after (the rose and onewe, really good discography both of them) but i discovered day6 at a low point in my life so they're always going to be my comfort group 🥰

Avatrice and non-verbal communication

More importantly why is it important to them by using this scene as an example

For Ava, notice how she looks at Bea first?

My theory is coz she don’t want to upset Bea so she’s asking for permission

In the Avatrice timeline, after the confession scene in ep 8

They have definitely gotten closer relationship wise

So it make sense that Ava turning first is her way of asking for permission because she had a new found respect towards Bea

Kinda like when a beloved teacher told you the story of how they overcome hardships

And next time you saw them you’re like “wow they been through some shit I should be nice to them”

Also I can imagine growing up in the orphanage she was shaped by the environment to ask permission for anything

So naturally she did it here as well

For Bea is mainly reassurance

She is trying to give the “is okay” vibes

Bea is so considerate is annoying sometimes

let's do a little line by line analysis to mix things up

(so she rather she got hurt if it means ava is safe)

DAY6 returns with 'Fourever': The album reflects who the band is 'at this moment'

From the beginning, the members of South Korean band DAY6 have been heavily involved in their music's creative process. They've composed, written and produced their entire discography. Even before DAY6's debut in 2015, it was a "condition" the members wanted to uphold. "In order for us to debut as a band, we needed to be able to put out our own music, our own story," Young K, 30, told USA TODAY. To have a say has shaped DAY6's identity and set them a part from others in the overseas industry. The members have expressed where they want their music to go since the start, said the band's leader, Sungjin, 31. Now, the quartet returns with "Fourever," out now. The album opens a new page to DAY6's artistry, representing "who we are at this moment," said Young K.

Setting the tone for DAY6's return

"Fourever" marks DAY6's first release since the members' mandated military services in South Korea from 2021 to 2023. "I really anticipated this moment of getting back together again, while I was doing my service," said Wonpil, 29. "All I could think about when I was doing my service was my band," said Dowoon, 28. Now, DAY6 is back and ready to show what they have perfected over the years: making music. "When we created this album, the biggest thing on our minds was what represents us the best, what we are and how our fans perceive us," explained Wonpil. DAY6's discography has spanned across various rock and pop genres. With their comeback, the members chose to hone in on their signature sound. "We wanted to focus on that perspective," said Wonpil.

Reflecting on the creative process of 'Fourever'

When writing "Fourever" there was not specific goal in mind. Rather, the members sought to focus on genres they liked and "go for it," something they have always done, said Sungjin. The seven tracks on "Fourever" tell a story, highlighting the band's affinity for narrative curation. "We want to make songs and music that the people and our fans can come back to," said Wonpil. "We want to make music that keeps them on their toes and keeps them curious about what we what we will do next." Having "Welcome to the Show" as the title track was a perfect fit for this. It accents the DAY6's musical core, while featuring their expansion as performers. "It's not too different from what we've been pursuing," said Young K. "But there's changes and developments from our past music."

How the last decade has shaped DAY6

The industry's swift pace has impacted the way DAY6 and its members have worked over the last almost decade. "K-pop is very systemized and everything happens so fast, everything changes so fast," said Young K. "In order to keep up with that, we got to work really hard, and there's always a time limit." Wonpil added, "because we write all of our songs, it kind of feels like our songs are our children." DAY6's music is an extension of themselves, echoing their growth as a band, but also as individuals. Music has become an integral part of their fabric as people. "I was a very emotional person. Now, I've grown up to be a more rational person," said Dowoon. "I learned so much from these three. They once said that, 'Creating music is like putting on clothes,' and I didn't know what that meant then, but now, I know." "I'm just so happy to be doing what I do because music, the variety is so wide," said Sungjin. "We don't know what we'll do next, so that's the beauty of it."
