Daily avatrice analysis (day 4)

apologies if this is bit of a mess, had a bit of trouble trying to put my thoughts into words, which is why there's so many gifs/pics today

now without further ado

So

Ep 6

now you might be wondering

cause there isn’t a avatrice interaction in ep 6

or is there?

may i present the last 5 mins of ep 6

when Bea show up and pick up Mary

(I would like to headcanon Bea volunteered to come all the way to pick up Mary not only because Mary is her friend but because she suspects Mary already found Ava and she wanted to see her)

And I would like to think that I’m right(Bea your gay is showing people don’t just stared at your left mirror standing like that)

Look the Mary’s face when Bea asks is Ava coming

before i talk about the “Beatrice is a badass” scene

Two things i wanna talk about

One

How do I know Mary knows something is up with Beatrice and Ava?

One episode later she basically compared what Shannon is to her

To what Ava is to Bea

“Letting Duretti get away with murder”

That’s 100% about Shannon

Now we all know who Shannon is to Mary ;)

The fact that she used their relationship and tried to convinced Bea hey you gotta do something you girl friend might die if you don’t

Yeah she knows definitely

And Two, this conversation between Bea and Camila

fun fact, Camila is this first one to call Beatrice Bea

I would like to headcanon that whenever Bea were tasked to train new recruits, in order to make them feel more comfortable, at some point Beatrice would let them call her Bea as is sign of closeness(Kinda like a “ My name is Yasmin Khan but my friends call me yaz situation)

Or is just Camila being Camila

either way is cute asf

and I love that Ava after being trained by Bea for two months calls her Bea most of the time too

just look them IM-

Remember when I said that she is not good at initiating physical contact yet her love language is physical touch?

This is what I meant

There’s still a slight hesitation but she definitely are more comfortable here

make sense cause she did know Camila longer compare to Ava

plus Bea is her mentor/mum

on to the famous “beatrice is a badass” scene

Got nothing to say except yes Ava I agree she IS a badass

They never missed with Bea’s casual outfit

Whether is in S1 or S2

I swear imo every outfit deserves to be show off in a fashion show or something

And that side kick(? Damnnnnnn girl

She really likes to side kick people

(Anyone who know what this move is called I know nothing about martial arts)

And she looks cool doing it

We can also see the kid Ava showing

Look at her smile I’m-

girl must think that Beatrice is really cool and reminds her of those action heros she used to saw on TV

Just pure admiration from Ava

Now some people think that the halo is sentient

Some think that it only acts as a tool and the one whos in change is the halo bearer

Personally I’m leaning towards the halo is just a tool the one who’s in control is the user

And how powerful it can be is up to the bearer

Because in ep 3 when she is tied to the table

I’m guessing all she’s thinking is how to free herself

And the halo reacted to her thoughts by phasing her though the bed, freeing her

I think the same happened here

All she is thinking is how to save Beatrice and Mary

From the trajectory of the bullets(the slow mo at the end of the gif )

Is going the opposite side from where Mary and Bea is

Ava and Mary’s sibling dynamic is real

And Ava might be a cocky little shit (affectionate) towards Mary sometimes but she cares about Mary

Next we see that Ava got shot by an arrow

And Bea rushing to her side immediately

Oh also has this been done before

Now something that I noticed from the walk to the van I want to talk about

Bea putting her hand on Ava’s waist to support her

How she practically jumped on the van to check on Ava

And it doesn’t end

Baby girl checked not once but twice on Ava’s wound

I can hear Camila going

Bea? Did you just check her wound twice???

Now this could just be a simple error

They accidentally included an extra shot

But being the overthinker that I am

I would like to believe Bea was so worried about Ava that she had to check twice

This scene is giving Clarke Griffin from the 100 coming to Lexa’s room and change her perfectly fine bandages to a random cloth just so she could talk to Lexa

Bea chill out she’s not gonna die she can heal herself

Daily avatrice analysis (day 3)

Seriously didn’t think i’ll have to split season 1 ep3 into 2 parts lol

anyway i’ll try to keep it brief today since the hug™ and the hallway scenes are huge milestones of their relationship thus is been talked a lot

So

Ep 3 part 2,

First, I would like to thank father Vincent for being an ally to the avatrice ship we didn’t know we had

homeboy sees avatrice interact for once in the canteen then decided to bring Beatrice to comfort Ava lol

Now you could argue and say that father Vincent asked Bea to befriend Ava but I think I would rather believe that Bea did this on her own because of her boarding school times(if you don’t know what I’m talking about check the day 2 post)

as much as I hate this man for lying to Ava I had to give this to him

he saw the vision when no one had

(Sorry Camila baby but you are still the captain of the avatrice ship tho

Now back to the scene itself

Avatrice really is endgame from the start huh

Just look at her

the moment she set foot in the room, her attention was dragged away by Ava

All hail protective Beatrice

You can tell she wanted to comfort Ava so much yet she doesn’t really know what to do

People might think that Bea is not good at dealing with feelings and that’s why she hide it

I propose that she is in fact too good at emotions

well more about the dark, bad side of having it ,and more importantly how to hide it

Given her past experiences I think is safe to assume she knows too well about the consequences of having feelings and I quote:

“When what you love, what should make you happy, only brings you pain.” -Beatrice(S1 Ep 8)

Yeah she knows what pain is

And yet

She can’t help but look at Ava, trying to find a way to provide comfort to her

Girl was whipped from the beginning man they were just meant to be

Now onto the hug it self

Sikeee there's something else here I wanna talk about

The moment mother superion left

She went straight to Ava

Girl couldn’t bother to wait for mother superion to left the room really shows how much she cared about Ava even tho she might not know her well

Now you can see the obvious hesitation she had

I’m assuming that reaction is combination of repressing your emotions for a long time and the result of keeping people out due to self-loathing

which makes this scene a thousand times more meaningful

Bea, the one who actively reject/avoid physical contact Initiate physical contact Im unwell

The fact that Ava is important enough to Bea that she threw her internal cage out of the window

I feel like in her brain is probably like:

brain sees pretty girl upset must comfort

And you know what the best thing is?

the fact that physical touch is both of their love language

as we can see in S2

They literally can’t keep their hands off each other

Now, many people have talked about how Bea feel or might be thinking during the hug

So I will talk about Ava instead

She is seeking comfort in the one person who is nice to her since she got here (minus Vincent he got ulterior motive

Ava your Kid is showing

I think we can see just how innocent and precious Ava is

reminds me of a meme I saw:

as a person who also had a childlike personality i would too dive head first to the one who is nice to me (especially when they are pretty girls like beatrice

Now onto the hallway scene

two things i wanted to point out

one, Bea using humor to try to comfort ava:

babygirl is learning how to comfort Ava we love to see it

and two

how observant ava is

“there's more to it then you are telling”

Ava took one look at Beatrice and said I know what you are lmao

“there is always more”

foreshadowing to ep 8 and could possibly be about Bea’s feelings towards Ava

i swear i didn't expect to write this many words

please lemme know if is too long i’ll try to keep it brief by not analyzing too deep with the more popular scenes(e.g. the kiss in s2 and so on)

Daily avatrice analysis (Day 1)

aka me getting all nerdy about avatrice

Today I’ll talk about Season 1 ep 1 & 2

Bet you thought I’m going to start with the canteen scene in ep 3

but i think that why avatrice works so well as a slow burn ship is because, well we got to see them even before they met each other

So, Ep 1

this is where their story began

At first, Ava was just a mission to her

her mission is to retrieve the halo

here in ep 1 is where she first heard about the “formally dead civilian” aka her future wife

here in ep 2

she continued with the same mindset

treating her as the object rather than an actual person

This line might seem simple

Beatrice assessing the situation so that she could prepare for whatever happens (being the calm and collected one in a group she often does that as shown in the gif below)

But it speaks volume about how she views Ava

Weak and useless

Totally understandable btw (not just because I simp hard for Bea

But because compared to highly trained tactical nuns

Ava is nothing but a helpless civilian

Now why are we paying attention to this?

Well because this is gonna come back in s2

Showing how much Bea has change throughout the seasons and how far Beatrice and Ava had come

Daily avatrice analysis (day 2)

Hello and welcome to day 2!

I love to see you guys adding on to my analysis! please keep doing that, agree with me, fight with me, whatever you wanna say, let's talk about avatrice together :))))

So

Season 1 Ep 3 (yes im doing this in chronological order cause why not)

ah yes the first breakthrough of avatrice

where we got some actual interaction between the two

(surprise is still not the canteen scene lol)

But here Bea said “and if she dies?” does indicate there is some level of empathy from Bea

Since she no longer view Ava as just the mission, then a actual person after seeing her

here we can see that Bea took the more soft and suggestive approach(compared to lilith which is more demanding) to calm Ava down

Further suggesting there has been a change in Bea’s attitude towards Ava(as shown in the gif below)

which leads to the first time they interacted one on one(yesss is the canteen scene)

Bear in mind that this scene happened after she sparred with(pissed off)Lilith and mother superion

She is starting to pick up that the members of the OCS didn't exactly give her the warm welcome, making this interaction more heartwarming in a way

It just makes so much sense that Beatrice is the one who welcomed Ava into the OCS

If I have to guess why

must be because this is how Beatrice feel when she first arrive to the boarding school her parents shipped her to

an outcast, the odd one out of the bunch, someone who stands out

and she doesn't want Ava to experience what she hand been through

so she decided to be the one who welcome her and try to help her fit in

Which Ava gladly accepted(I mean who wouldn’t is Bea we are talking about here)

now back to the scene

(this is kinda out of topic but NO ONE sits with Bea??? How??? Where is camila??)

reasons why I think Ava does this assessment thing and why is it important:

a. from being quadriplegic she quite literally had to intact with people by observing them since she can’t initiate the interaction with physical contact

b. confirming the avatrice endgame agenda (Bea was saving the sit for ava, and giving of friendly vibes because she wanna help/get to know ava more)

Father Simon did say that they planned Avatrice from this start so

c.she took inspiration from shows she watched and she recognize the trope(potential love interest trying to subtly interact with main protagonist)

(you can't tell me this is not what happeded lol)

anyway

Starting of a conversation with a joking manner, classic Ava silva

which were met with Bea trying to ground her to reality/truth that is Ava needs to start seeing the bigger picture here

Bea your logical is showing

Bea countering Ava’s attempts to underestimate the situation with logical explanations we love to see it

To be fair Ava is just trying to lighten the mood which is understandable but is not what Bea and rest of the OCS sees

OCS saw Ava as someone who was unfit to bear the Halo, which yeah I kinda have to agree with the OCS

but Ava’s weakness(? is also her strength

her out of the box mindset is literally what saved the world in s2

the OCS needed someone with a fresh pair of eyes

normally that would be Mary

but with Ava being the new kid in town, the collective dislike towards people/ideas that are solar opposites to the religious traditional cathlic values that OCS follows went to her instead

(okay i'm getting off topic again back to avatrice

This is where Ava realized that shit is real

People have died(Rip Shannon

Now is not the time to take things lightly

So being the kind hearted kid that she is

She asks Bea what’s Shannon like

As a way to try to comfort Bea

Really love the way Ava is looking at Bea while she is reminiscing her first encounter with Shannon

Moments like these reminds me how kid like Ava is

Yeah sure she’s an adult(19 years old is still young as hell btw, as a fellow 19 year old)

But because of what happened to her

The child like behavior never fades into adult responsibilities

The way Ava looks at Bea like a kid listening to their parents telling them stories is just ughhhhh

(Plus Alba had no reason looking this good

Avatrice really said:

Anyway the conversation ends with Bea and Ava bonding over being the odd one and Bea encouraging her to give OCS a shot

okay thats a lot of words what the hell

so i think i'm going to continue the first avatrice hug and that hallway scene tmr

Ep 8 pt 2

Edit: originally I basically told the internt my life story but I've decided to create a separate post instead: here's the link

Now on the the actual analysis itself now that we are done being emotional

Here we have avatrcie reading each other's minds

Well more like Bea understood that if she wanted to help Ava figure out what she really wanted to say

The best way to do it is to directly ask her

And here the little smirk from our dearest Avatrice captain Camila

Girl knows what she’s doing

Also if she had read sister Melanie’s entry does that mean Camila also knows French??

Well at least fluent enough the read the entry

Damn is Camila our secret multilingual queen??

Anway moving on

Most people think that the moment Camila handed the journal to Bea, she took one look at it and she immediately knew Camila was trying to encourage her to come out to Ava?

I actually think here is where she found out sister Melanie is gay

Assuming Bea didn’t flip though the entry off camera

Here we can see that she flip to another page then answer Ava, telling her Sister Melanie is gay

Meaning this information was not on the page where Camila left it open for Bea

And this is a moment Bea realised what Camila is trying to encourage her to do

Look at how she took a breath before she said Lesbich

I think this is where Bea started to see herself in Sister Melanie’s shoes

(Kinda like how when I see this scene and feel oh shit this is me)

And also I think that since she is putting herself in the story, it is remind her how she was treated as well

That why at the end of the entry

When she read the line “I felt unbound.Unburdened.I felt finally myself.”

You can see her voice cracking subtly

Because this is what she secretly wants too

To feel unbound by her parents

Unburdened of the responsibilities in life

(In her case is whatever she was forced to be as a daughter of diplomats)

And to feel herself

Just Beatrice

And that’s just fucking relatable

Here you can see Bea trying to salvage whatever composure she had left but then Ava basically asks if she is okay and she just couldn’t hold it in anymore

Bea then kinda got “mad” at Ava

But is more like a defense mechanism

I bet she had this kind of conversation about her sexuality before and it definitely did not end well

So everything this topic came up she got defensive about it

Which is understandable

Bea’s I’m sorry is more about her feeling bad for her sudden outburst of emotions and sorry that Ava was there to witness it

But I think she feel sorry that she is essentially coming to her because she view her sexuality as a burden rather than just part of her

And Ava’s I’m sorry is her feeling bad seeing Bea crying plus I feel think those nuns at the orphanage would often made her apologize for something that’s not her fault so it could be a reflexive response

And here’s comes one of the best lines in the show

Along with this fucking smile

The pain and sadness in her eyes turned into feeling grateful and full of love the moment she saw Ava

This right there ladies and gentlemen

Is where Bea had her oh shit I’m in love moment

Because hearing Ava’s response she realized she finally met the one person who would be happy for who she is

And will embrace her fully

And they say Avatrice is queer baiting smh

Here we can see local gay nun gets accepted once and decide to ride of die with them

Not but seriously no way in hell that “us” means us here

I’m certain is just Bea’s fear that’s stopping her from saying me

And the “you mean that?” By Ava?

Baby girl get genuine care for once and she is hooked

But it doesn’t stop the voiced in her head telling her this is not real she is lying so Ava asked for confirmation

Which Bea will gladly replied with “you know I do”

Finally we have the not kiss scene

My thoughts on this can be summarized by this gif:

btw i was thinking taking a short break after i'm done with s1 cause i have actual deadlines this week soooo

mental health was shit so let’s write about Avatrice :)

So

Ep 9 part 2

First of all,

We have Sister “I am trying to tell my crush i like her so i pat her for 0.01 second” Beatrice

and Ava “I am a golden retriever and my owner(? is leaving so I follow” Silva

I always thought this is such a cool transition so I just wanted to show you all

also height difference

where are my fellow 5’2 humans at

Normalized turning to your wife sister warrior randomly to check rather she is okay

Okay this is a Interesting interaction

The first look from Bea is just bea observing

She saw that Ava was not feeling alright

She is feeling uncomfortable for some reason

So the second look is Bea trying to investigate, to figure out the reason why Ava is uncomfortable

Only this time Ava look at her back

So she is forced to act

Because she can’t worry about Ava in secret(? now

So she did the logical thing

And the thing that works last time

Just ask her if she is okay

And Ava would told her

Ava’s answer was

“I’m just realizing that I’m not a big fan of cemeteries.”

But that’s not what she is really saying

Her explanation to why she dislikes cemeteries is because it reminds her of her own death

But we all know death is not what she is afraid of

Is being alone

Which is why Bea’s response is aimed to reassure Ava, she is not alone anymore

Bea then said

“Well you are not exactly in luck.”

A witty opener(to miss I’m must be serious at all times Beatrice I would say that’s witty)

“Necropolis literally means city of the dead.”

Fighting emotions with facts and logic since day one

This is how Beatrice comforts people

Trying to get them to see the logical side of things

She is the type of friends where if you go to her with relationships problems

She would end up making 2 spreadsheets, a chart, and 5 separate pros and cons list

And we love her for it

Because Ava is the opposite

She thinks with emotions more, compared to Bea

Which is why the Vatican heist went from just stealing Adriel’s bones to destroying them

And that’s why their dynamic works so well

Also

this show and parallels???

Not sure if someone talked about this before but

The way Ava’s hair looks like mommy mother superion’s scar???

I don’t know much about cinematography, but this is cool

side note, I love the relationship between ava and mother superion sm

they went from

boss bitch is here to mother Goddd character development we love to see it

Here we got more proof that Ava is smart

She took one look at the crate and just knows??

lemme interrupt the normal programming of wishing Netflix a good DIE and get back to business :)

I’ll try to keep this light and not break everyone's hearts(no promises tho

So

Ep 9

aka Vatican Heist?!

After Ava did the cross gesture

Look at how Camila and Beatrice smiles aww

I’m 100% on board with the headcanon that Camila and Ava will devise pranks together

Make this happen in S3🙏🏻

Anyway

Notice how while Camila is looking though the mirror

Bea is directly looking at Ava?

Bea really is in love since day one

Actually I think she did started to smile more after ep 8

Especially when Ava was around or when she made a nun joke(which we will get into later

Bea smiling after looking at Ava counter: more than two

Also Mary looks so done here lol

Before we get deep(that’s what she said) with this scene, one question

How the fuck did Ava got the rings lol

Did she just take them from Mary either way?

Even though Mary said nah imma get my ass kicked by Bea lol she is truly our cocky little shit(affectionate)

We can also see the little look they exchanged before they used their rings

Speaking of looks, we gotta talk about

Avatrice and non-verbal communication

More importantly why is it important to them by using this scene as an example

For Ava, notice how she looks at Bea first?

My theory is coz she don’t want to upset Bea so she’s asking for permission

In the Avatrice timeline, after the confession scene in ep 8

They have definitely gotten closer relationship wise

So it make sense that Ava turning first is her way of asking for permission because she had a new found respect towards Bea

Kinda like when a beloved teacher told you the story of how they overcome hardships

And next time you saw them you’re like “wow they been through some shit I should be nice to them”

Also I can imagine growing up in the orphanage she was shaped by the environment to ask permission for anything

So naturally she did it here as well

For Bea is mainly reassurance

She is trying to give the “is okay” vibes

Bea is so considerate is annoying sometimes

Not in a negative sense, but more like

Bea please take care of YOUR NEEDS AS WELL

considering her background

I feel like she had to make compromises a lot

So she is forced to be considerate

And also love and all that you know they did say I love you to each other in S2

Or they could just agreed to use the rings at the same time to avoid one of the guards noticing so they did a silent count of 1 2 3 with a look but hey i’m an overthinker okay is what I do

Anyway moving on

let's do a little line by line analysis to mix things up

Bea: The plan was to use the rings to ensure he stays safely unconscious until we're done.

There's no room for improvisation. What were you thinking?

You're gonna need every bit of the Halo's power to get into the crypt.

(Bea and Logic 1:0 Ava and being impulsive and new to being stealthy)

Ava: I specifically didn't use the Halo.

(Ava your child-like attitude is showing)

Bea:I know that's what you think... but the Halo's healing you.

Whether you mean to or not, you're using it.

(Bea said you need to think with your head and not your heart)

Ava:I just want to help.

What kind of a leader doesn't pull her own weight?

(I see it as Ava wanting to show off a little and proof to herself and the OCS crew she can be a worthy halo bearer)

Bea:The one that puts the mission above everything else.

If you're not at full strength when we get to the tomb, all of this will have been for nothing.

(ep 1 & 2 bea are showing, putting the mission above everything else, but also I feel like secretly she’s saying that because she couldn’t bear seeing Ava get hurt)

Bea:There's only one thing you need to do right now.

(so she rather she got hurt if it means ava is safe)

Ava: What?

(Bea you could’ve just ask Ava to trust you we all know that you are in love with her I mean look at her eyes)

Oh analyzing ep 8 is going to get personal because of the coming out scene

I’ve already decided to split Ep 8 into 2 parts because there is just too much to cover

today i’ll mainly focus on the first half of ep 8

and I’ll talk about the rest tmr

So

Ep 8

we start with the beginning of the episode where the gang is reading the warrior nun journal

got nothing deep about the scene but I do believe part of ava is this vine:

anyway moving on

I think there are a few reasons why Ava seems so eager to proof herself here

One

As someone who was quadriplegic, she knows what it’s like to be powerless and weak, since she spent most of her life receiving help from others

Makes perfect sense she’s she will jump into action the moment she got a chance to proof to herself that she is useful

Two

She wanted to fulfill her job/destiny as the halo bearer

Leaning from the journal, she realized how serious this is and she is the only one that can stop it

(You know things are serious when Mary said oh shit

Third

She wanted to protect her new found family(mainly Beatrice

“If we get rid of Duretti, we can get the OCS back together.”

Will Ep 1-5 Ava cared about the OCS?

Probably not

This is why ep 6 is so important to Ava’s character

She needed to see the good that OCS is doing

And not just some high trained nuns who’s after the thing on her back

That’s why she came back to the Cat’s Cradle

To help innocent people by accepting that she IS the warrior nun now

And it’s what happening here as well

Before we get into the training scene

Two thing i wanna point out

One

Absolutely love the way this guard go "oh shit she’s here again she better not break my table this time"

Two

Who the fuck give permission to Ava/Alba to look this good in that leather jacket????

Since the jacket is a tad bit oversize I’m guessing that’s Mary’s?

I would like to headcanon this happened:

Ava: *visible shivers from the cold*

Mary: *yeets the jacket to ava*

Or it could go like this as well:

Ava:*visible shivers from the cold*

Beatrice: *notices Ava shivering* Mary? Do you have a spare jacket?

(either way i love this jacket i want it)

Now moving on to the actual training scene

say it with me ava silva is not only a genius but also a comedic genius

(we love traumatized character who use humor as a coping mechanism)

look at how precious Ava is

her little whoo baby girl is so proud of herself

and so is Bea apparently

love this genre of Avatrice where Bea smiling because of Ava’s smile ughhhh

Moving on to the next training scene

we can see supportive gf Beatrice

even when Ava is panicking all she did was to remain her composure and give her clear directions on how to get out

even though she is probably worried sick on the inside as well

If avatrice have a timeline

here is where Bea knows she definitely cares about Ava a tad bit much

but she still trying to convince herself is platonic and she is just doing her job by taking care of Ava

I mean do friends cup each other's faces as gently as Bea did here???

Also the way Ava eyes lingers on Bea is something so personal to me

after she rushed towards Ava the first things she does is to touch her face

physical touch is definitely an Avatrice thing

and is such a vital part of their relationship because is how they communicate with each other

is them subtly asking: "hey you good?" and answering "yeah im good"

which we will see a lot more in season 2

Here we can see bea hesitates to help Ava up/touch her

feels like Bea was so worried about Ava after she cupped her face she panicked a little

I think she is like “oh wait that's a little fruity in it”

and that's why she retracted her hand here

imo once you repressed you emotions it doesn't just go away in an instance

it takes time to open yourself up again

which i think she did in season 2

but for now, Bea probably still views her feelings towards Ava as something she shouldn't have

Still doesn’t stop her from calming Ava down though putting her hand on her back tho

what can I say Avatrice is endgame from the beginning

After Jillian said that she had been able to amp up the halo’s output

notice how Bea was gonna say something?

she look almost hopeful for a second

like she is glad they had found a solution to their problem

truly live up to the name “the strategist of the group”(which i just decided to call her that)

btw side note

I love how Bea talks slower compared to other characters

because she really did think it though about what she is going to say

and we can see that in scenes where the gang is grouped up together to discuss something

you can tell she is always trying to find the best solution and consider all the possible angles

compared to Ava "punch first ask questions later" Silva

Avatrice is such endgame material because they fit so well

today feels like me fangirling over avatrice then an analysis but oh well

tmr we are going to get emotional and talk about possibly my favorite coming out scene in media

Daily avatrice analysis (day 9)

(Ohhh twice in a day?? No lol is just past midnight for me so imma post this now)

Ah yes cliffhanger ptsd is real

2020 me was not prepared for this

since there aren't really much avatrice content this episode

i thought I would summarize a little on avatrice as a whole in s1 and my thoughts about it

Here’s Bea doing her comforting people with logic thing

Is not just with Ava

Is with everyone, I think it shows the wn writers really know what they are doing

They don’t write characters for the sake of the ship

But they consider the dynamic of the character

Like how Mary and Bea’s interaction usually goes

And in here Bea trying to reason with Lilith

Words are not enough to describe just how much I love Beatrice I’m- *violently gestures*

Anyway

Here comes possibly one my one of my favorite line in s1

Yes.

Just yes.

Something about seeing a character swearing because they just couldn’t believe what the fuck they are seeing

Also her accent

I love this so fucking much

Anddd that’s about it lol

Most of the episode is slaydriel’s origin story

So

summary time

I will be honest and say that I was rooting for them since day one

I’m not saying that because they are cannon now

Or we know that it was planned from the beginning from Simon

Episode 8 is what convinced me

The almost kiss?

Gay asf I’m in

So I held on to that for 2.5 years lol

Obviously as a slow burn ship

Things at the beginning is.. well slow

But it does pay off at the end

However just because they are slow

S1 avatrice got some important development

Like

Besides their first hugs and heart to heart conversations

They built a relationship on trust

Trust is such a important theme in this relationship

(I will find a time to talk about it but maybe not here

My point is

Avatrice was endgame from the beginning

And I fucking love them

As for season 2

Give me sometime to recharge and it will be ill keep writing about avatrice

Also when I was writing my daily Avatrice analysis

I noticed something

In Season 1 ep7, when Ava and Mary were getting their ass kicked by Sister Crimson

Bea said this

“Sometimes you need to lose a battle to win a war.”

Now within the context of the scene she is talking about their fight earlier in the episode

However it applies to season 2 as well

In season 2 Episode 6,

Their plan is to sneak into Adriel’s cathedral and Ava with put the crown of thorns on him

Now things go side ways immediately

So when Michael tried to execute his own plan instead, which is letting Ava blowing up himself

Now who appears out of no where and tackled Ava?

BEATRICE

They lose this battle

Yasmine and Camila were captured

Then two episodes later Ava sacrifice herself and killed Adriel

She saved the world

Lose a battle(ep 6) to win a war(ep 8)

Now I might be looking in too deep but if they actually foreshadowed this in S1 wn writers truly have galaxy brains
