im rly only confident in my hal and barry rn, but i do plan on doing a lineup for everyone when i get further into my dc dive!

big an small i luv rollercoasters!! i luv watchin theme park videos and coaster povs!! when im small i like watchin videos of people goin around different kids areas of theme parks and showin all the kiddy rides!! i never watch them when m big so it makes me happy <3

m also watchin andy's aquatic adventures on cbeebies rn so am learning lots and lots about fishies an water animals!! like did you know mudskippers are fishies which can breathe air!! they lay all their eggs in a big cave in the ground dats connected to th water and have to keep swimmin between the fresh air and the egg chamber to give the eggs fresh air!! so cool!!!

i like lots of stuff!!! fun pasta shapes are always good i luuuuv alphabet pasta!! my fav meal when im tiny is just a cheese sandwich and some cut up fruit but sometimes am too tiny to use sharp knifes and am worried i will cut my finger :( but i have a apple cutter that makes apple slices for you!! also shoutout to pink sprinkly donuts they r special to me <3 just make me feel ickle for some reason idk why!!

Oh it's 100% just a theory that I saw on my return to 911blr scroll and I love it because, deep down, I want the "Buddie Roommates Era" truthers to win and burning the guy's house down is an excellent way to get rid of his couch and force him to move onto the right couch.

I saw a snippet of an interview with Oliver Stark that is floating around on the 911 spoilers tag where he's saying that he's happy that the fans have latched onto the couch as a metaphor and that the new couch won't be around all that long anyway! Combining that with another comment he made about how Lucy does come back but as not a love interest, and something-something about how he's actually less than pleased about [seeing Lucy], has the whole "Buck sees Lucy again because she's putting out the fire at his house" speculation spinning.

It's all Clown Car as per usual but that's where the fun is!

Hi!

Dream (aka 'Dream of the Endless' or Morpheus) and Hob Gadling are characters from the new Netflix series The Sandman, adapted from the comic of the same name by Neil Gaiman.

Even though Dream is the titular character and Hob only appears in the second half on one episode, their dynamic is just so *chefs kiss* it had me reeling in the slowburn of it all.

Would highly recommend watching the series :)

TDLR; they're from Netflix's The Sandman, they make a cute pair, i ship them <3

Hey, I'm not sure if you're the right person to ask bc idk if you feel the same as me, but - did the changes to your body from T make you feel more and more like yourself when you look in the mirror, like you fundamentally changed? Or did it always feel like you, but T just modified your physical form to be more comfortable? I'm seriously considering T but I'm scared that I'll become a man who I don't recognise in the mirror - that instead of being a modified version of me, I won't be myself any more

I had to think about this one hence the late reply! (also I slept all day) I'll be real with you, I don't think theres a single trans person who hasn't thought this. Who hasn't thought who will I be after this? Hormones and surgery are all big life changes.

First off, You will change, change and growth are inevitable. You are not the same person you were even a year ago. T is just another stage of life and you may become someone a younger you wouldn't recognize but that isn't a bad thing. To answer your question in more detail though:

Generally, the changes happen pretty slowly so you have time to adjust to them. For me, I feel like I am a different person post-T but in a good way. Changes I didn't expect or initially like (weight gain) I now love. I think in general I still look similar, I have had people who haven't seen me since going on T recognize me. You also have a wide variety of options if you don't like particular features, such as shaving and styling.

I don't know that I became more comfortable with my body post-T, I've always been pretty apathetic towards it as a whole like it didn't bother me except for my chest (so top surgery did make me more comfortable!) I am definitely happier and more interested in it, but I am also older and don't feel the need to adhere to beauty standards, quite the opposite tbh.

If you want to compare me pre t, early t and late t (5 years) here's a post I made comparing them! You can see I changed alot but like I said, I'm still me.

Oh friend, thanks for checking in on me; that's very sweet of you 💕 I am, unfortunately Definitely Not Doing Okay and have been Very Much Going Through It.

I'm 100% oversharing below the cut but please do not feel obligated to read it. Instead, you can know that two very real and far less depressing ongoing problems for me are that (1) I'm at that age where everyone is getting married, and I have 3 years worth of weddings in one, and I have been to like 8 since May and have 2 more to go this year, and (2) I am 99% sure there is a chipmunk in my house and I need to find it before it knocks another thing over while I am home alone and makes my soul leave my body.

Tw: death & cancer below the cut.

My dad died almost a month ago now (diagnosed with operable cancer in March, but it was the stress preventative chemo caused on his body that killed him) and I am still working through it. I've had to take a minute to sit with the new reality that I am 30 years old and both my parents are now gone (my mom died eight years ago).

I know that 30 seems pretty old to a lot of people on this app but trust me when I say that it is not. I may have an adult job and an adult relationship inside the adult home that I keep, but at times like this I very much still feel like a child. I miss my parents desperately. You ever see a set of parents and think - wow. They really know how to be parents, they were born to be parents, they're parenting so good? My parents were the best. And now they're both gone, both suddenly and too young.

On top of having to wade through all the paperwork and phone calls associated with being someone's Executor, my siblings and I are also grieving the loss of a future we thought we'd have. We're in a new alternate universe now, and we don't like it. My boyfriend won't be able to trade my dad the adorable stuffed cow we have in our closet in exchange for my hand in marriage and make him laugh. He won't be at my wedding to walk me down the aisle or dance with me. He won't be able to be the best grandpa in the whole world and teach us how to not screw up our kids. My sister's dog is still looking for him in every room.

I know from experience that this will get easier with time. I know that I am incredibly blessed with wonderful and loving siblings with whom I have a very close relationship with. I know that we'll be okay. I know that I will find joy in my hobbies again.

My unsolicited advice to everyone is this: if you have people you love, tell them. Communicate it often in the way that works for you. My parents both passed suddenly, but there was never, ever any doubt how much we all loved each other, and that gives me an unbelievable amount of peace.
