Where: pokemon universe! specifically hopping between Sinnoh and Alola for the most part :]
When: ough uhm,, 2019 was when I first saw his character and was immediately 👀 but August 2023 is when i finally let myself fully engage with the selfshipping aspect :3 (and its all been downhill from there LMFAO)
What:
During a surprise vacation to Alola, Juno gets lost late one night and stumbles onto T.eam Skull's turf. Luckily, G.uzma takes a shining to the shy wannabe-trainer, and lets them stay the night at Shady House, which turns into two nights, then a week, and soon the entire rest of the vacation. After a disastrous family dinner, Juno moves into Shady House full-time, becoming an unofficial member of the squad.
Both of them are idiots about their feelings and neither confess how they feel until several months in ^^; Cue lots of mutual pining, softness, and a dash of angst !!

These are from my YA fantasy novel, Fire & Flight, which is coming up on its two month anniversary (sorry y'all but the day I stop celebrating this release is the day I'm dead🤣🤣 Jk, but it's still a huge deal to me....anyway....)
All of the grief and bitterness that Nyla had lived with for years now rose up like bile. It bolstered her and washed away the agony that made her body wail. Nyla forced herself to her feet. She was wobbly, but an iron-like determination flooded every fiber within her.
That grief and bitterness and abandoned feeling that she’d known for so long that it was almost a familiar friend morphed into a weaponized hatred that burned hotter than a thousand suns.
The air around her crackled and popped. Crystals from the chandelier above shattered. Shards of glass fell like rain.

a look at how my discord rp server is set up under the cut !
hi ! i'd be more than happy to. under the cut are screenshots of my group, aurora isle. however, i can't claim sole credit for how it's been set up as it was a group effort between my former co-admins, fleur ( who deserves a large chunk of the credit for showing me the ropes and making everything so beautiful ) and saint ( whose tumblr blog i'm not familiar with rn — i believe they might have changed their url ? ) . we also incorporated a lot of member requests and have adapted it to the group's needs !
fair warning, i'm very type a + a total virgo so it's ... a lot dfgkhjhkfdj
note: i currently run a private sandbox ( mumu + multiverse ) server for my friends and if anyone would like a guide / template to that, i'd be more than happy to share it !
we make use of the community server + forums feature a lot because i find that it's so much more organized with the tagging feature and so so convenient ! it allows the staff team to archive old apps rather than having to delete messages entirely. i highly recommend that anyone setting up a group enable this feature.

my style of running discord groups has changed a lot since this server was set up but it's still pretty reliable and organized enough that i think you'd have everything you need ! again: i don't take full credit for this setup at all. it's been a lot of trial and error to find the exact system that works for me and my groups and i've received a lot of help along the way.

NEW: The Lavender Showcase
The Lavender Showcase is a blog dedicated to reblogging and cataloging original works of LGBT writers on Tumblr.
The blog was created as a way for people to easily find queer and trans writers--especially if they prefer to stay out of tags that may contain spam, bots, and/or discourse. It was also created to help writers get visibility if tagging their writing with popular tags like #queer or #lgbt makes them a target for weird spam messages and bots.
This blog does not post works for people or accept submissions but essentially functions as a library. When a writer wishes to be reblogged, they can simply @ this blog or send in a DM and it will be reblogged. The Lavender Showcase uses simple but consistent tags to catalog reblogged stories, making finding new works easy!
The primary goal for this blog is to try to help LGBT writers connect with each other and with readers.
How do I get reblogged, exactly?
All that is really asked is that the OP of the story tag this blog @lavendershowcase somewhere in a post containing their story or in a post with a link to their story (if you cross-post stories from other websites like Tapas or Wattpad or AO3) or send the post through a DM! Anything will be reblogged regardless of genre, rating, etc.
Please do not send in ask messages with your story links. Asks do not always send if they include links.
There is more information on how you can help make cataloging easier, if you wish to do an extra step or two or if you have specific requests for how you’d like the story tagged. You can find that information on the “How to get Featured” page linked here.
You can also find more info on the FAQ page linked here. And if you have any other questions, you can always send an ask!
What if I want to find a story about character who is bi or a what if I’m really craving a fake dating story?
There is a handy-dandy tags page! Using the tag page can have two functions. The first being that each link will take you directly to that tag. The second is knowing what is currently on the blog.
You can search multiple tags on the blog’s search function. So, if you see that there is a tag for bisexual characters and a tag for pirates, and you want to know if there are bi pirate stories, you can manually search both of those tags in the search bar as “#bi charactes, #pirates”
What are future plans for this blog?
Hopefully, someday, there will be writing and reading events. These could be writing weeks where the blog posts themed prompts or ask events where readers are encouraged to share their favorite LGBT authors/books/stories.
One of the main, future goals of this blog is to create a directory of LGBT indie writers. It would be a simple list or spreadsheet for anyone to look at. I haven’t worked out all the details yet, and I will be communicating future plans as they’re made, but it is a major goal for this blog.
It would also be nice if there could be resources compiled for LGBT writers such as lit magazines, advice columns, etc. But those would be very far off into the future.
How can you support this blog? Follow and interact and reblog this post! If you have any writer friends, let them know about this blog. If you’re looking to read more indie stuff, give us a follow! It really means so much.
I know what some of you are thinking. Blogs like this come and go. Tumblr isn’t an active place anymore. I’m aware of all of this. But I really do want to try to make this a sustainable project. I’ve been on Tumblr for 10 years. I’m a librarian. I know my way around this place and around catalogs.
I’ve thought about a blog like this for years now. I have a lot of faith of what can become of it. But if it never gets more than 50 followers, if it never takes off and fails, then so be it. At least I gave it a try.

kk im gonna actually try and update my website... by doing a partial rewrite (again) :::/ i kinda wanna add a links directory to amass the stuff (some of which alterhuman centric, mostly not) that ive found over doing deep dives into the internet. might do a similar thing with the music and netlabels ive found. this is all fine and dandy to do but the real struggle will be the New Swanky Web Design. but now that i have more experience with Bigger web design projects this should be fine (famous last words). i just hope i dont run out of steam doing this like last time

Some Fun (and not fun) facts about 7GOTS
Here's a bunch of random trivia I know about this game.
Both major English language releases of this game suffer from specific bugs- in the CD release of the game, audio is missing from Episode 2, Part 2 where the actors of the game read the scene between Wagner and Mephisto in Goethe's Faust Part 2.
In the DVD release of the game, the ending audio was mixed up.
In the end of Episode 5, Mephisto sings "sometimes it's hard to be a woman"- these are the lyrics to Tammy Wynette's Stand By Your Man.
7GOTS is part of an incomplete three part cycle, with 21 episodes ultimately planned for a complete cycle.
In Episode 7, there is some hard-to-read text put on one of the cutscenes with Giselle stating "I love my fat ass". Arxel, seriously?
The game's script is completely readable by opening the dia files in the game directory with notepad.
In the DVD version of the game, "Hit the Road to Dreamland" is missing from the main menu.
In France, there was a playing card style informational piece for the game released, with Marcellus being shown as the Joker in the deck.
Faust falls apart if you start to view it chronologically, and suffers plot holes in regards to years too.
Mephisto was based off of Melmoth the Wanderer from Charles Maturin's novel of the same name. Melmoth the Wanderer follows secondhand stories about Melmoth and his extended lifespan, where he searched for a soul to take over his pact.
Mephisto is NOT the devil. He is an angel sent to tempt people for the Devil.
Giselle is around 25 in the events of Episode 7.
Dreamland is based in Savannah- it could be based off of Savannah, Georgia, or Savannah, Illinois.
Mephisto is a dandy- men who put the upmost care into their appearance, and tried to have an aristocratic lifestyle.
This game has no connections to the seven deadly sins, and the title was originally Faust: A Game of Souls, but changed by marketing. You can see the original title on the loading saves screen when you start the game.
Mephisto's model was reused in The Legend of Prophet and Assassin, another game by Arxel Tribe.
There are probably more out there, these are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. :P

Is Laura ready to forgive… or make good on her jailhouse threat to kill the men who sent her up? THE HUNTED may seem formulaic on the surface, but it’s the one-two punch of Steve Fisher’s screenplay and Belita’s performance that elevates it above so many of its B-movie peers. The former stands out due to its crackling dialogue and the latter for its idiosyncratic grit. A hypnotic twist on the femme fatale tale, resurrected from obscurity in a 35mm preservation print funded by the Film Noir Foundation.

Jimmy Stewart is terrific as P.J. McNeal, a Chicago newspaper reporter determined to free a convicted killer (Richard Conte) he believes has been unfairly imprisoned for eleven years. Despite a mountain of seemingly irrefutable evidence, McNeal follows his gut and unravels a string of bad luck and miscommunication that would appear unbelievable were it not based on a true story. Stewart rarely ventured into the noir world, but when he did his heroism took on an obsessive bent, giving his performances a notable edge. The first Hollywood feature to be shot entirely on location in Chicago, CALL NORTHSIDE 777 also boasts fantastic cinematography by Joseph MacDonald and stellar supporting performances by Conte, Lee J. Both these sharpies get tangled up with saucy Shelley Winters, who’s more dangerous than a loaded .38! George Sherman may not wield the directorial heft of his studio peers, but he clears out plenty of space for his actors to shine, and they fire off Bowers’ one-liners faster than speeding bullets. You know things have been morally compromised when Percy Helton, of all people, is playing an upstanding citizen. We once had to screen this riotously entertaining, little-known gem in 16mm (at NOIR CITY 4), but we’re thrilled to now show it in a glorious 35mm print courtesy of Universal Pictures.

1. Are there any characters in your fandom or faceclaims you refuse to RP with? Who and why?

MLP, Homestuck, Undertale, Fnaf, League of Legends (Arcane won’t get a pass), Genshin Impact, Fnf, Disney and MCU (I’m debating on whether or not, I’ll give the comics a pass tho...)
Star wars stuff in specific. I’m intimidated and iffy about Legends characters, simply because I’m still not 100% knowledgeable about it (I’m learning more and more about it). Kotor/jedi fallen order/any of the SW games... I’m also not well versed in them, so I’ll also be hesitant to interact with them. With all of these things said, here are my straight ‘no’s. Unless I’m well acquaintanced with the mun behind the muse, I’ll not write with any of the sequels era characters (As stated in my muses directory. Although I’ve watched the trilogy, I’m not entirely familiar with it, which contributes to my overall lack of interest in interacting with it). Then there are the Starcruiser hotel, and the theme park attractions which are at the very bottom of everything thus getting the biggest no (I don’t think I have to talk about how the vibes between those things, don’t fall in line with anything else within the SW universe, right? Nah man, y’all can keep and try to excuse the +6k dollar LARP mess [which I heard that Disney is looking to double the prices so Y I K E S])
And as I’m writing this: I also won’t RP with Andor muses, until the serie is over.
2. Are there any plot tropes you are sick of/refuse to RP? If so, what are they and why?
// I’m not a fan of those fix-it AUs. No matter what it may be about. ‘No order 66 palpie chokes on a croissant & the galaxy is all fine & dandy uwu AU’, ‘clones are just one big family & jango is their dad uwu AU’. I understand the desire for those types of plots for fanarts and fanfics, but when it comes RP? Killing off the tragedy in SW is the equivalent of, burning down SW’s very essence. Also I’ve noticed that with these plots, they always end up watering down so many things about SW. The name of the series is literally Star wars, the war IS meant to be ugly, I don’t think anyone should sugarcoat that.
6. Is there a character that the rest of your fandom adores that you just don’t like/are indifferent to? Who is the character and why?
// I think that the Kenobi series hype is long dead by now, SO I can finally say this, without sb coming out of the woodworks to crucify me for it. Reva was mediocre at best (the actress put on her best, it is just that the script she was handed to was bad. The odds were against her.). She most certainly wasn’t the worst thing that came out of the show, see young Leia (wtf did they do to thIS KID?) and Tala (who? I literally forgot about her 5 secs after her death).
I just wished that Lucas arts hadn’t wasted their time with fan-baiting, hate-baiting its audience, all while using Ingram as a meat-shield for every single criticism towards the show. And instead taken their time to properly iron out this character. BC as she currently stands? It’s bad... That pitiful attempt at a redemption? Yeah, it could use some MUCH needed work, instead of just slapping it on her then calling it a day. But I’ll take what we got, over whatever the drafted one had in it (Cody’s legacy is safe... For now...).
12. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to the fandom you RP in?
// What’s up with all the weird anons me and many of my mutuals have been getting? I’ve never had to deal with anything like it, in all of my RPing years. What’s up with people not knowing how to use the block function, and blacklisting feature?
I’ve received multiple anons, whining about the fact I write cloneshipping. Or even having meltdowns over some of my HCs. I want to believe this is the result of how the search function on tumblr now operates, so it searches with anything that contains the searched words, instead of the tags. So, I’m chalking it up to being just strangers, finding my blog unaware of what this blog is about. But at the same time, there is a part of me that thinks I’ve received hate from actual RPers over that. BC god forbid, blocking sb and moving on with their day, is just too simple.
There is never a bad reason to not block someone. Even if it may sound silly in your mind, just block/filter out whatever is bugging you. It’s a whole lot better than hate-reading, or exposing yourself to shit you know that causes you discomfort.

Ok, I was all fine and dandy adding the cast of The Creator to my fancast directory page here on Tumblr when the "Sorry, your page is too long" showed up. I didn't even know about this limit.
Honestly, I lost all will to do anything about it. I've added so many people by now (+300) that I didn't want to abandon this project so I'd come back to it from time to time. But now? Now I just don't want to.
I could divide everything into like... 3 pages, by the looks of it as I add more people, but what's the purpose in that if they're not all where I can find them? What's the point of being able to search by ethnicity or whatever if some tags will show up empty because people under that ethnicity or nationality are in another page?
I'm bummed.
