today was a good day

things i did

had lunch with some new friends

found a cute cafe and had a coffee while reading

did my duolingo french lessons

had an interview for a flat closer to uni (it's also cheaper!wish me luck i get it!!)

when i get home, i will gmake myself some tea and read an article a professor recommended, and probably clean the bird cage

updates:

so, i quit economics.( to put ist in the words of mit very best friend, “everyone who doesn’t‘t change majors at least once is cinge“)

I will start studying architecture next wednesday, and I am thrilled. about the subject and about learning and meeting to people and going to class again. I am also nerveos about failing again.

I plan to use this tumblr as study motivation, which should work better when I actually have something to study… we’ll see

another life update:

i bought an ipad

my job in catering is both more exhausting and more fun than i thought it would be

i still haven't heard anything about my uni application (no, i'm not nervous, why are you asking?)

i'm trying to eat healthier (mostly less snacks)

i'm trying to work out every other day, and maybe do yoga

also, my plant died, so that's that.

happy valentines day!

it's the second day of my second semester, and i am, somehow, already behind plan with studying.

but I'm not going to be angry with myself. something about self love, and that you should treat yourself like you would treat your partner. i would be gentle with anybody else.

just some rambling about what's going on in my life

so i had a minor (probably major) mental breakdown this spring and decided to quit economics (that's why i didn't post anymore).

i'm currently in the application process for architecture, panicking that the uni won't take me despite them taking everyone

also, i have a new job (yay!), managed to kind of conquer my fear of telephones, and spend way too much money on books to reward myself for the things i think i did right

so life goes on and i am romanticising the hell out of it and maybe I'll start posting again

(do any of you have recommendations on what kind of laptop i need for architecture??)
