I watched Dancin' Thru the Dark recently and I couldn't help but wonder if I'd seen this leather jacket before. That train of thought spawned this story, as well as the accompanying screenshots.
Plus this face that I accidentally caught while trying to find a good reference shot of the jacket:
I'm watching Dancin thru the Dark again (dvd quality finally yay) and am once again baffled by the decision to market this as a romance/rom com when it might as well be titled Crabs in a Bucket.
I cannot express enough how much I appreciate the story as a whole but especially Peter and Linda NOT kissing in the van at the end. She is not running away to him or for him! This is not their love story in any classic sense! This is just for her! And Peter let her know escape was possible but Linda saved herself! She quite literally was smashing out windows and running for her life! It's so good I'm screaming into a pillow
I genuinely love this story of loving your home even as it's killing you and how the fiance could be anyone and the most miserable friends are the ones so determined to ensure everyone knows and keeps their place and how Peter is a bisexual icon and you know what Linda is bisexual too, live your life to the fullest darling.
Sooo I watched Dancin’ Thru the Dark with the girls last weekend aaaand naturally I had to draw Izzy in Peter Mcgeegan’s jacket and boots (and earring).
