So I’ve never really had anyone to talk about a few of my favourite shows with and it dawned on me that since I’ve found so many lovely people on here to talk about wrestling and Gilmore Girls and Star Wars with, maybe I’d find some to talk about my very favourite shows with.
So, feel free to message me (honestly you don’t even have to say hi. I will not bat an eye at any unhinged messages I get) or reply to this post, mutual or stranger, if you love any of the following:
Lost (my favourite show of all time. I could write essays about literally any aspect of it. I will never not have so many feelings about it)
Roseanne (my favourite sitcom of all time. It’s so fucking funny and I’ve never met anyone outside of my parents that love it, and certainly no one that loves it as much as I do)
The Walking Dead (strangely, one of the more popular shows there is, but I’ve actually never met anyone that loves it like I do)
There are more, but those are the main ones. Lost and Roseanne especially. Let’s talk about the Island and Lanford, Illinois!

A BJ Sighting and a Gay Kid on "The Conners"
In Episode 2.10 of The Conners, Dan (John Goodman) and his working-class Chicago-suburb clan are rabid Bears fans (a football team). The gay kid, Mark (Ames McNamara), comes out as a non-fan, which upsets Dan: "I still love you, but everything is different now. I understand the gay thing, but (liking football) is a choice."
Dan's daughter Becky invites her new boyfriend Wyatt to watch the game with them. He's...gasp...a fan of the opposing team, the Green Bay Packers. He arrives wearing a cheese hat, the Packers' symbol!
Yep, it's Tim Baltz (BJ).
Not only has Wyatt chosen a horrifying "lifestyle," he disapproves of the Conners' good-natured ribbing, calling the family "toxic." Interesting -- BJ says the same thing about the Gemstones. Becky has to choose between her boyfriend and her family, and of course the cheesehead goes.
Tony Cavalero shows up in Season 4 as Aldo, the boyfriend of Dan's granddaughter Harris. Now, if they can only figure out a role for Adam Devine. Maybe Kelvin could give a gay Christian presentation at Mark's church.
Mark, what do you think of Devine as a guest star?
