It’s hard dating someone who is bipolar/Cyclothymiac.
It gets real hard when I don’t get to sleep until 1 am or later every night. But I think you’re worth it. I’m just getting tired.

Review of Bipolar Disorder
Bipolar Disorder, also known as Manic Depression is a serious mental health condition which causes extreme mood swings including emotional highs and lows such as hypomania and depression. When an individual becomes depressed, they may feel hopeless or sad and eventually lose interest in participating in most pleasuring activities. However, at the very next moment, as their mood shifts to being maniac or in the hypomania phase, they may feel full of energy, quite irritating and give you a vibe of being euphoric. These mood swings can affect their activities, sleeping schedules, energy level, behavior and the clear ability to think.
Therefore, there are several Bipolar Disorder treatment center in New Delhi region, helping such patients. These Bipolar Disorder treatment center in New Delhi are mostly funded by the government or other community organizations. Using different treatment processes in this phase, as the episodes of mood swings usually occur rarely or even in some cases multiple times in a year. However, most of the individuals experience emotional symptoms between the episodes, while some may not experience any of them. Depending upon the patient’s schedule and issues, the Bipolar Disorder treatment center in New Delhi, carves their schedules and regular treatment charts.
Although the Bipolar Disorder problem is a lifelong condition, one can still manage these mood swings and other symptoms by following the particular treatment plan including medication and psychological counseling mostly, also known as Psychotherapy.
Now, there are several types of Bipolar related disorders, which include all 3 manias, hypomania and depression. The symptoms may cause unpredictable changes in the mood and behavior, mainly resulting in significant distress and difficulty in life. Some of the symptoms and their particular phase are:
● Bipolar 1 Disorder: When the patient may have had at least 1 manic episode which may be preceded or followed by a hypomanic or major depressive episode. In some of the cases, it may trigger and break from the reality of psychosis.
● Bipolar 2 Disorder: When the patient may have had at least 1 major depressive episode or at least 1 hypomanic episode, but never had any manic episode.
● Cyclothymiacs Disorder: When the patient may have had 2 years or 1 year in their children and teenage phase, have had periods of hypomania symptoms and also have had periods of depressive symptoms, although less severe than the major depression.
● Other types: These other segments include Bipolar and related disorders including certain drug and alcohol consumption issues or due to any medical condition as well such as multiple sclerosis, stroke or Cushing’s disease etc.
Bipolar 2 disorders is not a milder form of Bipolar 1 disorder, but have a separate diagnosis. However, the manic episodes of Bipolar 1 disorder can be termed as dangerous and severe, whereas individuals with Bipolar 2 disorder can be depressed for a longer period of time which can also cause a serious impact of impairment. Bipolar Disorder disease can be detected at any age, and can be typically diagnosed in the teenage years or even in the early 20s of an individual as the symptoms do vary from individual to individual and symptoms also may vary from time to time.

Post 2 - the continuous struggle

This is the continuous struggle.
Two things - intertwined.
1. Struggling with the constant difficulties and challenges I deal with every day:
- Overwhelming
- crippling anxiety
- impulsiveness
- difficulty organising anything
- fear of rejection/failure
- overthinking
- insomnia
- guilt
2. Struggling with trying to work out what is wrong with me - i.e. what is making me like this and not like normal people who arent like this - and then trying to find a solution.
e.g.
is mental health a thing.
are mental struggles an “illness” and therefore in any way comparable to physical health.
Should psychiatry be classed as medicine at all?
are my challenges definable as a single “disorder” - it makes things much easier if you can say “I have X” but is there any reason to group an individual’s challenges and put them in a box with a name as if they are the same as other people with the same challenges.
This also connects to dr TW and dr JK and coach and what is worth investing time and money into. Will anything come out of it and will it make me feel better help me cope properly in the long run whether its 80mg of prozac or being declared a cyclothymiac or whatever.
- This then makes me feel more rejected and overthink even more and more insomnia
It’s not exactly chicken and egg. More eternal struggling. Will Dr ADHD work it out for me. Can’t hurt to try (apart from 2,500 shekels).
