New Puppy! - Law and Bepo
Tumblr media
LAW GOT HIS FORST PUPPY DOOOOOG (Cora took the picture)
I am aware that the background sucks I never draw backgrounds—
Tumblr media
Let us admire it without the background holding it down (omfg Bepo is so cute wtf—) ((m’y art kinda shit tho))
I honestly have no clue how to draw graduation outfits—
Tumblr media
This was totally and entirely ripped from this text from a Lawlu/multiship fanfiction i really like! Check it out if you like Lawlu or the supernovas! It’s seriously awesome!
Thé skin colour (excluding the vitiligo) was in fact snatched from a canon picture of Law so quiet down— I know that lots of people have different ideas of Law’s skin colour and all. (Anyways the darker colour brings out the vitiligo which is a plus because in the fanfiction it seems that his condition is more obvious)
Bepo is based off of a Slovensky Cuvac / Slovakian Chuvach puppy! I just think that it suits him if Bepo were to be a dog and also he’s somewhat described like it in the fanfiction <3

The Slovak Cuvac is an excellent guard dog that is very gentle with its family members. The breed is very trainable and easy to get used to what is expected of them. The care of these dogs is quite simple - just make sure that the dog's diet is wholesome and that the pet gets enough exercise. Although the white coat of these dogs may seem to require a lot of care, this is not the case - the coat of the Slovak Cuvac is dirt-free, so frequent bathing will not be necessary. History of the breed The Slovak Chuvac originates from the Tatra, Beskid and Carpathian regions of Czechoslovakia. If we refer to the documents that have survived to this day, we could say that the breed originated in the seventeenth century, but in fact, it is a much older breed. DNA tests have shown that Slovak Cuvac are related to polar dogs, which are descended from Arctic wolves. The breed has long been bred to protect livestock herds: the white coat of the Slovak Cuvac makes it easy for the dog to blend in with a flock of sheep, so that it can defend the livestock from wolves or other predators if necessary. They highly valued these dogs for their ability to fight off intruding beasts and for their endurance in all weather conditions: the coat of the Slovak Cuvac provides good ventilation in summer and excellent protection against cold and bitter winds in winter. After the Second World War, many dog breeds fell on hard times, and the Slovak Cuvac is no exception. When the war broke out, the breed was on the verge of extinction, and it was only thanks to Antonín Grudas that the Slovak Cuvac were saved. The breeder's long work helped to achieve the desired results - by 1964, the breed had already gained recognition. Interestingly, the Slovak Cuvac does not have a breed standard in Great Britain, but the preferred coat colour is white. The Slovak Cuvac is undoubtedly a true Slovakian pride: the breed has been depicted many times in various fairy tale illustrations, and in 2016, they made a short documentary film about the breed, Bringing back Bodrik. However, today, the Slovak Cuvac is still a relatively rare dog breed that is still seeking recognition from the American Kennel Club (AKC). Slovak Cuvac: appearance The Slovak Cuvac is very similar in appearance to the Hungarian Chihuahua, but Slovak Cuvac are leaner and their white coat has an ivory tinge. The height of the male Slovak Cuvac is 62-70 cm at the withers and the height of the female is 59-65 cm. The weight of males normally ranges from 36 to 44 kg and that of females from 31 to 37 kg. Although these dogs are quite massive, they move very gracefully, with the preferred gait of the Slovak Cuvac being the riscia. The dog has a large head in proportion to its body. The profile is wedge-shaped, the skull is broad and massive. The length of the muzzle is approximately half the length of the head, the colour of the tip of the nose varies according to the season: the nose is brownish-black in summer and black in summer. Medium thickness lips tightly covering the teeth. The jaws are powerful and the bite is scissor-like. Eyes oval, dark, penetrating and lively. Ears rather high, triangular, drooping, reaching the lower jaw. Neck in proportion to the body, held high when alert. The back is firm and straight, the chest deep. Legs are long, muscular, and compact. When the dog is active, the tail rises to the sacrum, which is at rest. Medium length coats are usually 10 cm long. The neck is longer than other parts of the body, forming a showy 'collar'. The undercoat is soft, becoming very dense in winter. Only white colouring is allowed and the coat must not have yellow spots. Slovak Cuvac: character Slovak Cuvac are very protective dogs, and are often chosen to be bred for home or livestock protection. We can keep slovak Cuvac both indoors and outdoors - they are not very demanding in living conditions. The breed values the companionship of all members of the family - unlike other breeds, they rarely choose a single owner to whom they obey unconditionally. They are very gentle with children, so we can keep doh in families with young children. If properly trained, Slovak Cuvac can assist in search and rescue operations, as they are very attentive and have well-developed senses. Slovak Cuvac: health The Slovakian chiuvac is in good health, but there are occasional cases of hip dysplasia. Like other large breeds, they need to be protected from possible gastric upsets by dividing the daily food intake into two portions and limiting the pet's physical activity after meals. The typical age of this breed is around 11-13 years, which is a long time for a large breed.

Year of the Dog - Slovak Cuvac “Slovak sheep farming has a very old tradition. The Slovak Cuvac, together with mountain sheep, the Hucul horse, and typical inhabitants of the mountains, formed the fundamental economic preconditions for the utilization of pastures for cattle. The inhabitants of the Slovak mountains were mostly free people who defended the frontiers and paid duties in sheep's cheese. The institution of these people was called "Valassky Opasok" and its center, until the abolition of serfdom, was Košice. The members of this shepherd military system did their service on mountain meadows with their companions - the hearty white dog called the Slovak Cuvac.
A good watchdog, guard, shepherd and companion, the dog proved itself also in watching cattle, turkeys, and other domestic animals - as well as its master's household. Holiday makers and visitors to the mountains and spas took to this breed and began to carry it to the lowlands. The Slovensky Cuvac is used on sheep farms and mountain ridges as well as homes and frontiers. He is boundlessly loyal and stout hearted. He resists every enemy - bears and wolves included. According to the time honored shepherd's tradition, he is always bred in white to be discernible from the beasts of the night.
This breed has been well documented as far back as the 17th century. However, as wolves slowly began to disappear from European mountains and modern herding practices were instituted, the Cuvac was faced with the prospect of being seen as a relic of the past. What few specimens were left in the 1950s were bred carelessly. Credit for reviving the breed and fixing characteristics is due Dr. Antonin Hruza, in cooperation with the veterinary school of Brno.”

I am obsessed with Sheril’s dog again
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We only got to see it in Chapter 158 along with Tricia in a criminally under rated amount of 3 panels with only one mention.
But- from these panels, we can conclude that it may be...
Tumblr media
A Kuvasz, which is a Hungarian herding dog known for being a good watch in the Middle Ages, described by Wikipedia as “Clownish, Independent, Intelligent, Loyal, Patient, and Protective”...
Tumblr media
It could also be a Maremma Sheepdog which is an Italian breed known for being “alert, determined, dignified, friendly” as well as “intelligent” and “loyal”.
But could be a Great Pyranees for all I know (with the bit of curl in its tail), or a Slovak Cuvac. But I think most likely, its a Kuvasz given its “clownish” nature would fit into D Gray Man’s themes and the dog’s happy, protective temperament. But an “alert, determined, dignified” dog would reflect upon its “determined and dignified” owner quite well. But that’s just based on Wikipedia searches.
What kind of dog do you guys think Sheril’s dog is? Share your thoughts.

Between Austria and Hungary (LoopLand Slovakia)
We set off on our next trip to the capital of Slovakia - Bratislava. The only capital in the world with such an unusual location (it borders on Austria and Hungary). By the way, in this city, the population is only half a million people, and in the whole country, there are no megacities with a population of one million.
You've probably heard of the Krampus. So, in this country, the New Year holidays begin on December 5th, and on the streets, you can meet the aforementioned character.
In Slovakia, there is the village of Selmentsy, which was divided in two during the revision of the borders. One part - Slovakia, the other - Ukraine. The Herliansky gejzír is located in Kosice, which is the only source of cold artesian water in Europe.
Tumblr media
Regarding Douglas, from the funny stories that happened to him. He got a little drunk again and decided to run a marathon. Up to Austria, then turn around and get to the border with Hungary. Ultimately, our wanderer simply fell asleep on the train bound for Hungary.
Tumblr media
On this, the next episode of the program came to an end, thanks for your attention! And remember that a dog of the Cuvac breed, which has been used for herding herds in the mountains since ancient times, is a kind of local symbol here!

‘The Allotment People’ painted in 2008 by Vaughn Parker (born 1949) for Glossop mental health project. the breed of dog would appear to be a Slovac Cuvac, commonly trained and used for guarding livestock.
