I’m sorry this is late, I found this when out thrifting and didn’t want to give it to you missing a button. The pin also reminded me of your cat, so it felt very meant to be. Merry Christmas, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings.

Mary fiddles with one of the buttons as she reads the card — she can't help it. The corner of her mouth turns up, just a little. Love, Star. Scrawled like an autograph. Starlet Star, doling out signatures, secondhand luxury and tarot readings wherever she goes. A faint laugh as Mary sets the card aside.

She might replace the buttons. She might not even wear it long. But she finds, of everything she owns, she would be upset if this little thing ended up singed and dirty in an Arkham bin, in a GCPD evidence locker.

"Next year," she murmurs. Time to book another trip out to the west coast, maybe.

I'm 32 episodes into Super S!!

Okie so wowie a lot of dream arc development!! First the inner senshi got episodes dedicated to them earning their new powers! I particularly liked the one about Ami because it was the most similar to the manga 😊

Also also! Finally saw the iconic age swap of the Sailor Moon duo 🤭 Actually it was done really well! Chibiusa learned a lot more about Pegasus who she now knows is Helios of Elysion! They kissed and it was cuuuuuuteee!

No mention of Mamo's connection to Elysion as of yet. In fact I don't even think Helios has interacted with Mamoru once 🤔 Maybe they don't have the same connection in this series? Would be a bummer but they didn't really cover the whole Shintennou connection either. Plus Mamo never got his powers in R season and King Endymion didn't imply he had them either. Though sending your past self nightmares probably qualifies as a power 🤔 And there was that singular moment where Mamo's hand glowed when he was treating Fish's Eye's cut on their hand. Which begs the question if Mamo knew he was doing that and if he's had his healing powers all along. I mean manga Mamo would literally heal a scrape he got in the middle of gym class in broad daylight LOL.

ANYWAY I got like 8 episodes left of this season and it's pretty fun! I do wonder if the outer senshi will come back. Things are progressing but its so disconnected from how things occurred that I don't even know when Haruka and the others could make their entrance 🤔 Like Usa and Chibiusa only just did the age swap but the girls all got their powers already. And Mamo isn't showing signs of being cursed and there's only so few episodes left at this point.

Honestly I'd rather they just didn't introduce Mamo and Usa's curse because it would keep things from feeling rushed. But idk.

So hi, today, tonight rather I've finally had the energy to start my online journal which I'd been contemplating doing for a while now. It's around 11pm I just kind of woken up from a nap T.T did not know what else to do, not in the mood to watch any series/movie, don't have the attention span for that rn lol currently listening to The 1975 newest album - All I need to hear currently playing suddenly it feels like circa 2015 all over again haha listening to the best artist and starting to blog. So yea, I don't really know why I wanted to do this maybe something to look back when I'm older and busier??? lol bcos I honestly wish I had something like this when I was a bit younger #StudentDiary lol Nothing exciting really happened today, did my 3 weeks due laundry and I think that's all. Btw I had a winning trade today - hit my target TP after a series of unfortunate trades for the past few days lol Still learning never knew that it would be this hard honestly but yea, I really want this to work - I don't think I can do anything else already aside from this. I've also been contemplating whether to going to Blackpink's Concert or not (As if sure akong makakabili me ng tix lol) - this thought of contemplation whether if should go or not is very not like me tbh given that I'm such their fangirl right now lol I've been also binge-watching there old shows and vlives for the past weeks now. The only thing I did the whole Nov long weekend. It was fun tho. So yea, this is all bcos of adulting stuff so many bills to pay, so much wants and needs. My Cat Kiyo just came near me and touched me while I'm typing so my reflex is to shrug it off which I did and now she went away and lay in front of their litter box to sleep T.T, and my other cat Kiko just came near me as well in my bed and just stared at me looking like she's contemplating if he should disturb me or not,,, so cuuuuuuteee!! he's always been. that respectful whenever she wants my attention but sees me doing something else <3 Kiko is following Kiyo right now hahaha she's being very clingy right now so I yea I think time to give her some love bye folks lol not sure if this is it or I'll add something else later or edit this before going to sleep but I really want this raw and very personal. OMG EMMY I JUST HAD THE BEST HENRY PEARL THOUGHT!! okay so you’re at the diner and a waitress hands you your coffee, but it slips from your hands and spills on your titties and it burns bc it’s really hot and henry jumps! into action and grabs a bunch of napkins and presses them against your chest to help clean up the spill but he realizes where his hand is and he turns BRIGHT red and steps away SO FAST and apologizes profusely like “ohmygoodnessiamsosorryididnotmeantodothatpleaseforgiveme” 🥺🥰

THIS IS THE CUTEST 

like hes probably just casting you little shy looks and smiles (and of course you smile back because have you SEEN that cutie face) before he turns back to his book. 

And youre all distracted because he’s got the most knee weakening smile and the most soft eyes and you’re unable to shake the sweet smile fully when Melinda passes you your cup of scalding coffee, and before you could even take it firmly in your hands Melinda lets it go, effectively spilling the beverage all over your chest (which you’d so dreamily rested against the counter) and your wrists, making you gasp and groan in pain, the waitress apologizing profusely. 

You wave your hands in a meek attempt of diminishing the pain when suddenly there’s a gentle but rapid dab against your chest, hands masked by a ridiculous amount of napkins, almost in a feeble attempt to clean you from the hot brew.

When your brain finally processes all that just happened, you finally look up and see the strangers concerned face, the corner of his tongue poking out in concentration as he simply trying to tend to the burning skin, but the moment his eyes flick down to yours, his face turns to a scarlet, embarrassed red, shoving the napkins against you before retracting his hands to his own chest.

“I-I-I’m so s-orry, I just- uh, I just uh- wanted to uh, help… uh… you out,” he chokes, and you see his Adam’s apple bob as he downs a thick, embarrassed swallow.

“It’s okay,” you promise, your hands using the napkins he’d given you to try and dab at the coffee. “I appreciate the effort… Mr…?”

“Oh! Uh, Pearl,” he says, smiling and extending a hand, only to retract it back at your hesitance and moving back up to rub at his neck. “Henry Pearl.”

Your eyes shift to his hand and the rough scar under it, flashing him a sweet smile and a gentle nod of understanding. “Well, thank you, Mr. Henry Pearl. I appreciate the effort you went through for me.”

And he flashes you a smile back and fuck, it’s an intoxicating smile, it warms your heart to melt akin to chocolate, and for a moment, you forget you have upteen napkins clutched to your chest, and there’s a few lingering eyes watching the scene, and you’re able to get lost in his comforting green pools endlessly.

“Henry, where are your manners!” A voice scolds, snapping you out of your shameless gazing and your heads whip to the woman behind the counter, her hand resting on her cocked hip. “Give the poor girl your flannel, let her cover up, hmm?”

And it doesn’t even take him a second thought before he strips the warm flannel from his body, draping it over your shoulders, the smell of boyish cologne and musk of the humid night clinging in the fabric.

You can’t help but relish in it.
