Late
Regulus walked through the front door, slipping off his shoes and placing them in the cubby beside James’. He made his way to the kitchen, where a plate of food sat under a stasis charm. He glanced over the oven to read the clock.

A pang of guilt settled in Regulus’ stomach. He had been working his way out of the hospital when a group of aurors were apparated into the emergency station. Regulus jumped in, helping where he could. He had spent hours testing for broken bones and concussions, helping run potions and relocate patients, unaware of the time passing. When things finally calmed down, Pandora shooed him out the building, assuring him they had it under control. In all the chaos he hadn’t thought to phone James; the poor man had probably been worried.
Regulus sighed and ate a bit of the food, knowing James would want him to eat after a long shift. He then headed to the bathroom and quickly showered, slowly beginning to feel the exhaustion of his day. Regulus then carefully slid into their bedroom, making his way to his wardrobe. He silently rummaged through the mess James called tidiness, pulling out an old pair of his husbands’ joggers that no longer fit the older man and a plain t-shirt. He quietly padded over to the bed, gently sitting on the edge while he pulled on his socks.
As subtly as he could, the younger man slid into bed and under the covers. Regulus thought he had successfully avoided waking his lover when a strong arm curled around his waist and pulled him closer. He felt a pair of soft lips press against the base of his neck and shivered lightly at the touch.
“I didn’t mean to wake you mon chéri. Go back to sleep love,” Regulus whispered, hoping the man was already fast asleep. He placed a hand on the arm circling his torso, idly tracing the tattoo he knew was there out of habit.
“s’okay. I missed you,” James mumbled in return.
“I missed you too darling. I’ll tell you all about what kept me away in the morning,” Regulus replied with a yawn.
James hummed in response, pulling Regulus closer and tangling their legs.
“I love you,” James cooed, and it took Regulus a moment to decipher what his sleepy husband had mumbled.
“I love you too mon chéri,” Regulus sighed contentedly, letting his exhaustion take over. The two men drifted off to sleep, a mess of tangled limbs.

When Regulus began to stir the next morning, the first thing he noticed was the bed was empty and cold. He could hear the sizzling of a pan in the distance and the humming of his lover. The younger man smiled to himself, making his way out of bed and towards the kitchen. He leaned against the door frame, taking in the sight before him.
James was facing the stove, slightly dancing while humming a tune Regulus couldn’t quite place. His hair was a mess like usual, and his black t-shirt was pulled tight against his skin. The older man had two plates set up, with pieces of toast and eggs already on them. Regulus smiled, making his way further into the kitchen, stopping behind his husband and snaking his arms around the man.
“Good morning my love” James beamed, and Regulus could picture the grin he knew appeared on his husband’s face.
“Bonjour mon amour” Regulus replied, his voice muffled in the back of James’ shirt.
The older man let out a soft chuckle, and quickly plated the rest of the food. He turned off the stove, and moved the hot pan to the back burners. Regulus reluctantly moved away from James, shuffling to a bench around the kitchen island. James gently placed their plates down on the counter and headed to the shouting tea kettle. He poured the boiling water into two mugs, throwing in tea bags and returning to the island. Regulus enjoyed watching James work around the kitchen. At first he didn’t understand why the other man did everything manually, but slowly became accustomed to it.
“So, what great adventure did you go on yesterday?” James inquired as he sat across from Regulus.
Regulus felt the pang of guilt rush up his throat but quickly dissipate when he saw James’ smile.
“I was heading home, I was basically out the door when a heap of aurors came in. They had a bad accident apparently, it took me a while to piece together what had happened. Something to do with a huge explosion of sorts, I’m sure we’ll see it on the news. I was helping test for broken bones and concussions, and helping the nurses distribute potions. Pandora eventually kicked me out, said it was getting late and I should go see my ‘lover boy.’” Regulus explained, smiling through the last few words.
He finally looked up, not realizing he had been talking with his hands and looking everywhere but his lover. The younger man was met with a dopey grin and a look of complete admiration. He felt blood rush to his cheeks, realizing his husband had been staring at him the whole time.
“I could listen to you talk all day y’know” James cooed, knowing it would only make the younger man blush even more.
Regulus took a bite of his toast to avoid answering. He attempted to hide his face with his hands, eliciting a chuckle from the other man.
“You’re so cute when your flustered”
“James I will literally stab you with a fork”
“That’s fine, as long as you promise to heal me after” the older man quipped with a wink.
Regulus responded by throwing a piece of toast at James, who simply ducked away and barked out a laugh.
Regulus was deeply in love with the other man. He loved these domestic interactions where they could just exist around each other, not fighting or simply tolerating one another. James taught him what real love was. He taught him how to exist in a healthy relationship. Regulus was infatuated with the other man, and his only hope was that the other man felt the same way.
James seemed to sense his lover’s shift in mood and reached a hand across the counter.
“I love you Regulus. I am in love with you my Darling. I’m glad you got to spend the night doing what you love, even if it meant you got home a bit late. All I care about is that you eventually do come home, as long as you’re happy,” he affirmed, squeezing the hand of his lover once he had accepted it.
“I love you too mon chéri. I’d give it all up for you if you asked. I love you more than my work” Regulus admitted, holding onto James’ hand like a lifeline.
“I know you would darling, but I don’t want that. I’m happy if you’re happy. Let’s go watch the news, yeah? See if we can figure out what happened last night.”
The pair finished their breakfast and grabbed their mugs, settling down in their living room. They spent the day curled into each other on the sofa, switching through channels every now and then but barely paying attention to what was on the screen. The two men were preoccupied with each other, and wouldn’t have it any other way.

1) How many complete fics/one-shots do you have that you have not published (yet)? None. As soon as I'm finished with something I post it before I lose my nerve.
2) How many WIPS do you have right now? 8, but to be fair some of these are like two sentence ideas that I don't know will go anywhere or not.
3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both? I've never done requests because I don't feel like my chaotic work schedule/sporadic inspiration would let me do them. I would hate to disappoint people by making them wait.
4) If you do take requests, how many do you currently have? 0
5) How many fandoms do you write for? Pedro Pascal characters, a handful of Star Wars characters. The triple frontier boys a little bit.
6) Are there any fandoms you wrote for in the past that you no longer write for? I only started sharing fic in the past couple years. I made some small attempts to write for Farscape and Doctor Who but none of it went anywhere.
7) Do you write for ships, reader inserts or other? Mostly reader insert. A little bit of gen fic.
8) Niche fandoms/characters you write for? The only thing I can think of is that I include Cee in my Prospect fics because I love her.
9) Do you read fics as well as write them? Of course. How do you think I ended up here?
10) What is your favorite genre to write for? Oh hell. I have two settings. Fluff and PAIN. I don't make the rules. I am a sci-fi nerd, so I enjoy playing in those worlds.
11) What is your favorite trope (to read/write)? Reading: I will read almost anything. I particularly enjoy friends to lovers, accidental intimacy type things (one bed, snuggling for warmth) hurt/comfort. Writing: IDK if this is a trope? But I love writing characters with an established relationship. Characters who love each other but without being dramatic about it.
12) What do you do to get motivated to write? I will watch source material, read over other fics I've written. I have a couple dedicated playlists that I listen to depending on the vibe of the story.
13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write? Monsterfucking. Hard smut. BDSM. Multi-chapter.
14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested? I don't currently take requests.
15) How long have you been writing fanfiction? I posted my first fic late November of 2020. I'd never completed or shared any fic before that and I honestly thought it was gonna be a one time thing.
16) Did you read fan fiction before you started writing? Yes. I've been a fairly consistent reader of fanfic across multiple platforms. I think I started out with Farscape fanfic, and Stargate SG1 fanfic.
17) Do you only post on Tumblr, or any other sites as well? Only tumblr
18) What do you personally consider the word counts of "Drabble", "One shots" and "fics"? Okay, I know drabbles are supposed to be fairly short. Other than that, I'm not sure. I thought "One shot" means a standalone story that's not part of a series??? IDK.
19) Which do you prefer to write more? HC, drabbles, oneshots/fics, multi chapter stories, other? I cannot multi-chapter to save my life. Planning? What's that? I tend to write connected one-shots within the same AU if that makes sense. They don't come in order, they aren't really chapters. My one-shots tend to branch out.
20) Are there any stories you have discontinued? If so, why? No. I don't consider any of them abandoned.
21) What is one of your main "pet-peeves" as a writer on Tumblr? Anon hate. Lack of engagement with non-smut stories. Lack of engagement in general. Also this weird ass idea that if you are over 30 and reading or writing fic there is Something Wrong With You. Especially in the Pedro Pascal fandom. Dude is 47. 20 year olds can post the kinkiest, hardest smut and no one bats an eye, but older women write thirsty fic and there's all this "ewww, go raise babies and pay taxes you old (same age as the men we're thirsting over) hag."
22) Do you write a particular time of day? Late night/early morning.
23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc to write or do you need silence? Always music. What I listen to depends on the vibe of the fic.
24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing? Lol no.
25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day? Bold of you to assume I can stick to a schedule. Nope. Like I said earlier, I finish a fic and post before I love my nerve.

Thanks for the tag @daydreamsofren! This was fun 🥰
1) How many complete fics/one shots do you have that you have not published (yet)?
Zero. Unfortunately I am not very good at delayed gratification, and so I typically post stuff as soon as I've finished. When I first started writing Office Romance, I had at least two chapters done before I posted the next, and then I got behind and I haven't been able to catch up since. I'd love to be the kind of person that could let something finished sit in my drafts while I work on the next part, but it doesn't look like that's in the cards for me.
2) How many WIPS do you have right now?
Around 20 apparently.
3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both?
I do both! I typically prefer requests, since it's fun to take a prompt and put my own spin on it. Prompts are also more motivational—I work on ideas I come up with on my own much slower.
4) If you do take requests, how many do you currently have?
I currently have 11 right now! I like to have somewhere between 10-15 requests in my drafts so that I can jump around if needed.
5) How many fandoms do you write for?
I tend to focus on individual characters, so I don't know if I'd really call it writing for a "fandom." There are a handful I like to write, but mostly I get requests for Hux (which makes sense because he's my favorite.)
6) Are there any fandoms you wrote for in the past that you no longer write for? I
Nope.
8) Niche fandoms/characters you write for?
It's gotta be Hux. I love that greasy little man 🥺
9) Do you read fics as well as write them?
Yeah, although I go through more ups and downs with reading than I do with writing.
10) What is your favorite genre to write for?
Uhh, I love angst, and fluff and probably smut
11) What is your favorite trope (to read/write)?
Mutual pining, friends to lovers. I'm more comfortable writing the beginnings of a relationship rather than something in the middle.
12) What do you do to get motivated to write?
Read other fics, or daydream. I'll also read back through old comments or read my own stuff that I liked.
13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write?
Fake dating. I don't know if I could do it justice but it is one of my favorite tropes.
14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested?
Not never requested, but I do really like Frankie Morales and Benny Miller from Triple Frontier, and Laszlo Kreizler from The Alienist.
15) How long have you been writing fanfiction?
A little over two years. I started at the very beginning of 2020.
16) Did you read fan fiction before you started writing?
A really long time ago. I used to read Star Wars fics about Kylo and Hux when TFA came out, and then I stopped before writing my own.
17) Do you only post on Tumblr, or any other sites as well?
I post here and on AO3, but I started on AO3. I don't think I could handle wattpad 🙃
18) What do you personally consider the word counts of “Drabble”, “One shots” and “fics”?
Idk, mostly I just go by vibes. I really don't look at the word count of most of the stuff I write.
19) Which do you prefer to write more? HC, drabbles, oneshots/fics, multi chapter stories, other?
I like oneshots/fics the most. Anything that involves planning suddenly turns into 4D chess in my head and I have a way harder time finishing it.
20) Are there any stories you have discontinued? If so, why?
I don't know. It's hard to say that anything is discontinued because when I look back at what I've written I really like it. I'd say Indecent Arrangements, but I still think about it all the time, so maybe there will be a chapter update soon.
21) What is one of your main “pet-peeves” as a writer on Tumblr?
Uhh, I guess it's hard to tell why certain stories get less traction than others. I don't like how much time of day/the tag function/whatever else plays into whether or not my stuff gets noticed.
22) Do you write at a particular time of day?
I'm a much better writer at night, probably because I'm too tired to be mean to myself.
23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc to write or do you need silence?
I have two playlists full of slow-ish music that I listen to while I write. One is called Rainy Days, and the other one is called It's Folkin' Fall, Babey!
24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing?
Only if they're complicated. Indecent Arrangements and The Runaway both have outlines, but none of the others.
25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day?
Once it's done, even if it's the middle of the night. I should probably hold back on stuff more so that I can make edits before I post it, but I'm too impatient 🙃

Ummmm I’ve only ever written BTS fan fiction lol
2. what fandoms are you currently writing for?
Just BTS lol. All the other fandoms I’m in don’t spark ideas in me
3. how long have you been writing?
Five or six years but only started writing seriously about three years ago
4. on which platforms do you post your stories?
Just here because I’m way too lazy to make another account anywhere
5. what is your favourite genre to write?
Fluff and angst. Fluff comes more easily to me so I tend to write that more often but something about ripping my readers’ hearts out with angst is thrilling
6. are you a pantser or a planner?
Planning? I don’t know her. I’ve tried planning stuff in the past and the plot went in a totally different direction and the whole plan fell apart lol
7. one shot or multi-chapter?
I’ll write oneshots but then want to continue the characters’ stories so I’ll turn it into a oneshot series 😂
8. what is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?
They tend to be 600-2000 words just because sometimes it’s really hard for me to write unless I break it up into sections
9. what is your longest published story? is it complete?
Well if we count the book I’m writing my longest story is 55k words but on here I think it’s 4.8k and neither of them are completed
10. which story did you enjoy working on the most?
Probably Racing Heartbeat 😆 it was so flirty and awkward and it’s probably the fastest I’ve written something. I also really enjoyed Paint Smudges and Small Crushes though because it felt very real to me while I was writing it
11. favourite request you’ve have written and why (if any?)
No one has requested anything ☹️
12. are there reoccurring themes in your stories?
Friends to lovers is definitely something I use a lot just because I love it so much! I also apparently have a thing for giving my characters multiples when they have kids
13. current number of wips?
Well I have 16 in my wips folder but some of them are things I won’t finish but 11 of them are things I’ve been working on
14. three things you have noticed about your own writing?
1) I’m really big on physical intimacy (aka kissing, hugging, holding hands)
2) if I have an excuse to put a kid in the story I WILL do it because I love little kids so much
3) I’m very descriptive and I try my best to give at least a brief description of what each character looks like so it’s easier for people to imagine
15. a quote you like from a published story
Today was different. She’d looked up from her pile of paperwork to find a handsome model standing in front of her. His dark hair had been parted in the middle, revealing his forehead. The pair of overalls he’d been sporting had been falling off his shoulders to reveal the white tank top beneath it. His arms, as well as his face and clothes, were covered in paint.
Overall, he just looked like Taehyung. The way he’d always looked. Why was she just now noticing how gorgeous he was?
I love these paragraphs because of how they convey the feeling of realizing you’re in love with someone
16. a quote from an unpublished story
The world broke a week after her thirteenth birthday. Life had been blissful. An amazing best friend and an adoring family, a great school and a nice home. But none of that mattered the day he told her the big news. He was moving. Where to, it didn’t matter. What mattered was that he was leaving her.
Even rereading this now it tugs on my heart

List of wips - aka struggles
Call Me
A Jason Todd fic I started two years ago and still go back to poke at longingly, will the second and final chapter ever be posted? Who can know for sure.

I tell myself that I don't need Anyone (But the truth is no one needs Me)
Another Jason Todd fic I haven't completed, posted two years ago for whumptober, it was the only day of whumptober I participated in, intended to be full of Captain Atom and Jason Todd interacting during the fall out of Bludhaven getting chemo'd but he doesn't show up in the first chapter and have you ever tried to read Infinite Crisis? It's a fucking mess. With this wip I have a close to justifiable excuse in that I refuse to write without knowing the canon, and reading through all the canon that's relevant is A Task.

The Monster in The Man
A Merlin fic floating around my drafts, currently at a good bit over 5k wherein Merlin gets POSSESSED by an old enchantment gone mad. Written because a Merlin fic I read ended on a horror style cliffhanger and I couldn't handle it so I charged my way through the first 2k of a sequel and I've been adding to it ever since. Angst with a hopefully happy ending, if I ever frikking finish it.

The Dragon Lord
In the aftermath of his father's death after Merlin inherits his father's dragon lord abilities he notices some minor changes to his interactions with his friends, the thing is that Merlin is a dragon lord and unusually what he hoards is people, things might just turn out the better for it.

Maelstrom
A Naruto time travel fix it fic that wouldn't leave me alone until I got the first chapter out, ironically it has left me entirely alone since I finished the first chapter and I have no idea if inspiration for it will ever return or when that will be.

You Don't Know Anything
Long long ago in a land of asks and a time of legend @paradise-runway sent me a fic request for "one where the other Bat boys find out the circumstances of Jason's death and resurrection and their reaction?" it has been lingering in my drafts haunting me ever since, someday, someday I shall fulfill what has been promised.

Of Curses and Covenants
A longfic exploring the magical underbelly of Gotham's history, focuses on the intertwined relationship of the Wayne Family and the Zatara Family brought about by how often Waynes through the generations have ended up being cursed. I have an index of all the curses ready, the problem with this one is the plot and the story.

Vicki Finds a Bat (temporary title)
Vicki Vale stumbles upon a still alive young adult Jason Todd at a wafflehouse on the way back from snooping into Cobblepot's latest criminal schemes. Convincing the young man to go back home to his loving father might prove more of a challenge than she thinks however. (will have a happy ending if I ever fucking finish it, for now it looms in my drafts like an unhappy gargoyle)

A fic about Jason being touch starved and his family fixing it, hurt/comfort all the way, post resurrection.

Stephanie Brown and The Mansion of Man Pain
Robin Era Steph, she and Alfred have pumpkin spice lattes together, it's their thing because I say it is. Includes, Alfred raised 5 boys counting Bruce, he's not sure how to handle a little girl and Bruce trying to dad plus Steph trying her best. Would be a lot easier to write if I was any good at comedy.

Another Time, Another Place
Some twenty years or so after their death, Martha and Thomas Wayne appear in the middle of Wayne Manor's ground floor parlour room, the major problem with this? Not only are Bruce and Dick away, Alfred's on holiday in England! Which is why Jason as the eldest has been unwillingly nominated by his younger siblings to deal with the situation at hand. Martha and Thomas in this are heavily inspired by @unpretty's amazing portrayals in her fics with them.

Queen Blackfire and the Lazarus Lord
An au with Soulmate identifying marks: Jason Todd was having an okay time as de-facto leader of The Outlaws, a band of misfits and rebels with hearts of gold (or at least silver) saving the world the best they could and filling in the gaps the more straightforward heroes tended to miss while they were at it.
Then he found out he was soulmates with the Alien Warrior Queen bent on declaring war on planet Earth if the Justice League didn't find her soulmate for her.
Things with his friend, team mate and potential future sister in law Kori just got super awkward and the only good thing he can find about this situation is how angry (and protective? But maybe he's just imagining that) Bruce seems over the whole thing.
Side note: Kommand'r freaked out during the years Jason was 'dead' and accidentally brought peace to a huge chunk of space and intergalactic society via building up her empire after throwing herself into work to escape the grief.

Naruto and Kurama travel back in time to save the world but unfortunately they land in the same moment that Kurama's just been put under a genjutsu by Madara Uchiha, Naruto has to make his way to Konoha and wake Kurama up before the villagers seal him away inside Mito. Can he save his friend in time to save them all?

Mcu fic. Snapshots of Tony working hard for the avengers and no one noticing. Civil War Team Iron Man.

Salvation Rides a Solar Wind
Iron Man fic in a Science fiction / Western style fic where Tony's presence is described through the eyes of the aliens he helps. Au where the war with Thanos goes very differently. The type of fic that needs like 5 multi chapter fics in a single series to truly shine, hence why I will likely never finish it.

And We Break Away Again
Jason goes back to Talia after Damian is brought back from the dead by Bruce. It's not that he begrudges his little brother his resurrection, the opposite, but he can't ignore what Bruce did to him by taking him to the magdala valley and he can't ignore what Bruce doing for Damian what he didn't do for him, (do for Dick, do for any of them besides the blood related one) means.
So he decides to go back to the only person who ever seemed to understand why he wanted to avenge himself in the first place, the only person who seemed to agree that he had a right to be angry that he'd died at all, the only person he can trust to hold him together while he feels like he's falling apart that won't judge him against the heroic mold while they're at it.
Not sure if this will be a oneshot or a series but we're going good Talia with this one regardless, DC's been ruining her lately but through fanfic all things are possible so fuck them.

In a Whisper (In a Wish)
Ichigo Kurosaki protects people, it's not just who he is, it's what he is, down to the core of his very soul.
The only problem is, that a few weeks ago he sacrificed half his soul to protect the world. It aches inside where he knows something important used to be. When everyone he cares for is avoiding him and he's starting to feel more like a shadow than a person, that aches at him too and he can't help but wish, quietly, privately, painfully, to himself if no one else that things were different, that he wasn't so broken or so alone. But if wishes were fishes they'd fill a whole sea (just be careful not to whisper them within the hearing range of the Hōgyoku).

An Honest Conversation (Is A Bitter Thing To Crave)
Jason kidnaps Bruce but things don't go as Bruce expects. First of all the reason Jason was able to kidnap him was because Stephanie of all people was his insider, why would she support someone Batman knows she's only met once.
And second of all the reason he's been abducted - So that Jason can drug them both with the same substance.
And when Bruce asks what he's doing this for Jason only responds, "We don't trust each other enough to have a truthful conversation otherwise" and refuses to say anything more while they wait for it to kick in.
What will be revealed by this forced honest encounter on both sides?

carrying the world on thin shoulders
Midoriya Izuku deserves better from literally all the adults in his life so this is part whump part hurt comfort part fix it fic that sprawls out from time to time but it's pretty bad tbh, at some point I'll probably make it neater and give it something resembling a coherent plot. Hopefully.

Trust Issues
HP fic. Harry gets dosed with a potion that's supposed to reinforce your strongest survival instinct, the person who drugged him might've intended to be helpful but said potion happened to be at extra strength and he was given what would be a normal fix for the regular version but for this one is twice the recommended amount. Great..
The biggest problem about all this - beyond his internationally wanted godfather Sirius endangering himself by hiding out in a cave near Hogsmeade against all rational advice, his best friend Ron hating him, everyone in school besides his other best friend Hermione also hating him or avoiding him and the entire Goblet of Fire problem - is that he can't bring himself to trust anyone enough to tell them what's wrong.

Truth is Treason in the Empire of Lies
A post marvel avengers story, thor pov probably, made because I like to dive into a pool of thor & loki sibling feels sometimes:
Starts off as Thor regales his new human shield brothers with the story of his banishment and return to Asgard ending with Loki falling into the Void and the Avengers have some questions, questions Thor had not thought of, remarks on things that Thor doesn’t know how to explain away.
After he goes to Loki’s cell and asks him some things he becomes more and more angry despite having no one he can punch > Gets drunk and criticises Sif and The Warriors Three after they try to calm him down > mention of Loki still being underage by Aesir standards during Thor 1 seeing as Thor was being crowned due to being of age in the movie > heavy inspiration drawn from queen regnant by peaceheather.

A Trinity of Head Wounds
The dcu trinity in the aftermath of a fight against some alien invaders (or something along those lines), whump, hurt/comfort, starts with them arguing, ends with them bleeding on each other in a friendship way, whole thing should take place in a single room on the watchtower and be a oneshot so it's gotta be a short and sweet one-two gut punch with the feelings which is difficuuult.

A Stark in The Stars
an mcu fic, a really over complicated mcu fic, mostly because of Steve Roger's timeline fuckery, Tony's alive but he's not supposed to be, but so are a lot of people who were dead but aren't now you might say what with the snap and the blip.
The thing is that Steve's timeline fuckery is making it so that everyone keeps getting confused between the two different timelines of events, obviously more confused the more that their characters were connected to the films/the events that were altered, the punchline of this particular fic though is that Tony's still alive and he's unaware of the timeline of events where he died.
And as he's currently in space he's also unaware that everyone on Earth thinks he's dead (because why wouldn't they? he died in endgame after all). That makes this fic super tough to write because like ultimate unreliable narrator right here and not sure how to tie in the whole 'oh wait actually everyone on Earth thinks I'm dead because of the canon timelines' thing in or at what point of the story to do that at. The fuckery of it all gives me a headache. Plot is hard.
Also all of that's basically background to the actual focus of most of the fic thus far which is Tony travelling around space in an Iron Man suit up until the point where it won't be background.

2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works

I’ll be focusing mostly on my Venji fics, but also talking a little bit about my original work at the end! For those of you who don’t know I’m currently in my first year of an MFA program for creative writing, so this has been a HUGE year in writing for me!! :D (Also I did more than 5 sorry hehe <3)
Good Things Fall Apart
If you have followed me for any amount of time you’ve probably seen me yell about this fic at some point!! This is my biggest LV WIP and one of the largest writing projects I’ve undergone in my life. It started as my take on S2 as many multi-chap fics did immediately following S1, but I feel like it’s really grown into something more distinct from that. It’s heavy on themes of reconciling sexuality with faith as well as self-forgiveness and learning to let the people in your life help you. There’s Lorde, there’s summer vibes, there’s Mothman, there are perhaps too many subplots. Only 2 chapters remain to be written and posted, so check it out if you’re looking for a big ol WIP to keep you occupied!
Fresh Hell
This was written as part of a Halloween-themed fic fest and is one of my favorite things I’ve written this year, fic and otherwise. It’s a Love Victor slasher AU that’s loosely based on the vibes and dark humor of the show Scream Queens, and while it was supposed to be multiple parts but fairly short, it ended up reaching pretty solid novella length. If you like college-aged Venji, thrills and gore, and a relationship tested by a psychotic serial killer, this one’s for you.
if we make it through december
Another fic fest entry, this time for Christmas/the Winter holidays. In this one, Benji and Victor are both in their mid-twenties; Benji own a struggling bakery and Victor is trying to climb the ranks at the accounting firm where he works, and a chance encounter leads to a couple of not-so-chance encounters and so much holiday fluff. It’s your pretty typical Hallmark-esque bakery AU so if that’s your jam I highly recommend this one!!
A Brief History of Benji Campbell and Birthdays
While this is technically a spin-off from GTFA, it can be read completely on its own as well! This is a oneshot I wrote for Benji’s birthday that chronicles a few of his notable birthdays through the years. Something we’ve felt as a fandom is that Benji was lacking in backstory in canon, so this was my attempt at writing some for him! A bit sad throughout but a fairly quick read with a happy and Venji-heavy ending <3
Starved, Sanguine, Smitten
Another fic I wrote for Halloween, this is a vampire!Benji AU. Honestly, I feel like I could leave it at that because what more could you want?? OK but actually this one is Vic/Benji dual-POV and has a dark but comedic tone (think Teen Wolf vibes); I’m also planning on eventually writing a follow-up!
Burned/TPQ
Burned is the name of my first ever completed novel, which has technically been in the works for about 10 years now! It’s the first in a planned series called The Psych Quartet and it’s basically about a gay amnesiac superhuman who’s trying to solve the mystery of his mother’s death. It features a school that’s hiding secrets, a gay love triangle, and the other main characters include a disaster bisexual plant dad, a lesbian TA who loves gossip and astrology, a hardass loner chick who carries around a sword, and a misguided orphan sadboi. Short Fiction!
Speaking of original writing, I also got much more into short fiction this year, which is very new for me! I wrote a couple of really fun stories, my two favorites being Honeysuckle and Smoke and Black Squirrel, which again you can read about on my writeblr. I’ve sort of fallen in love with the form and will definitely be writing more short stories in the future as well <3

I am terribly late, please forgive me and thank you for tagging me @green-socks ❤️
1) How many complete fics/one shots do you have that you have not published (yet)? Surprisingly I only have one fic in my completed - unpublished folder. I’m usually a huge hoarder. Oh wait... The mafia madness. Yeah. So, six and counting?
2) How many WIPS do you have right now? 6-ish I think. All but two eternity projects.
3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both? I’ve only done requests twice, but I’m not opposed to opening them up again at some point. But mostly things that come from my own mind or a prompt challenge.
4) If you do take requests, how many do you currently have? None.
5) How many fandoms do you write for? 3; ADCU, PPCU and TF. I do stray sometimes though
6) Are there any fandoms you wrote for in the past that you no longer write for? So… do old HP fics count? 😅
7) Do you write for ships, reader inserts or other? Mostly reader insert fics, I haven’t tried ship and I currently have one OC story in my wip pile
8) Niche fandoms/characters you write for? For ADCU, Rick Smolan is someone I’d count as a niche character.
9) Do you read fics as well as write them? Omg yessss! I love to read 💕
10) What is your favorite genre to write for? Angst with a happy ending. I’m an emotional and melancholy bean.
11) What is your favorite trope (to read/write)? Just one bed and friends to lovers. Oh and protective SO’s.
12) What do you do to get motivated to write? Hmm. I don’t know actually. I sit down and try to put the words swirling in my brain into paper?
13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write? So I love A/B/O. But I can’t seem to be able to put it to words. But I will devour those fics when I see them.
14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested? I don’t really get requests so I’m not sure. If I’m in the mood for a certain character, I go for it. Or at least I try.
15) How long have you been writing fan fiction? In here almost two years now. Privately for over half my life.
16) Did you read fan fiction before you started writing? Yes! I’ve read longer than I have written for sure. “
17) Do you only post on Tumblr, or any other sites as well? I have an AO3 account.
18) What do you personally consider the word counts of "Drabble", "One shots" and "fics"? Is there a difference between fics and one shots/drabbles? I think no matter the word count these are all fics.
19) Which do you prefer to write more? HC, drabbles, oneshots/fics, multi chapter stories, other? One shots maybe. I think that’s where my strength lies.
20) Are there any stories you have discontinued? If so, why? Yeah. There are a few fics in my abandoned folder… the reasons very but mostly it’s because I find myself in a corner I can’t move away from.
21) What is one of your main "pet-peeves" as a writer on Tumblr? Definitely the nasty and ungrateful anons that lurk around. And people trying to put others down while lifting someone else up.
22) Do you write a particular time of day? No. I’m a mum of two so my writing happens between short breaks from the two gremlins. Or late at night. Or during a short break at work. Or on a train ride home. Whenever I can squeeze a little time in.
23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc to write or do you need silence? I can’t write if music has lyrics in them, so I do prefer silence. But I’m also one of those people who jump between YouTube cooking videos and writing and listening to audiobooks and scrolling this site 😅
24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing?Sometimes but mostly I wing it.
25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day? I’m a terrible hoarder so I will hold on to a finished fic until something pries it from my cold, cold hands. So they gather dust in my folders but when I do get around to posting it’s out the door almost immediately once it’s done.

Mostly original, I did open requests but I suck at getting them completed quickly. I’ll do so again soon because it was fun and I need to celebrate a milestone 🥰

I still have 7? I think? Maybe more? From my 1k celebration almost a year ago Jesus Christ I’m so sorry

5 (Pedro, TF, Marvel, DC & Star Wars). Trying to branch out a little!

When I was a young babe, I wrote for the Mummy, Harry Potter, Twilight, Vampire Knight (lmao) & Star Trek. I feel like there’s one I’m missing.
7) Do you write for ships, reader inserts or other?
Reader inserts, baby! Reality is gross, take me elsewhere plz. I have done OC’s in the past.
8) Niche fandoms/characters you write for?
Not that I know of. Wtf is a niche fandom?
9) Do you read fics as well as write them?
Not as much as I’d like 😞 whenever I’m not chasing my kids and doing life things, I try to use that time to write so I don’t have much time to read. I want to change that tho.

Romance. Thought I was a fluff kinda gal but I froth for writing angst.
11) What is your favorite trope (to read/write)?
Enemies to loversssss. It’s just so damn good. You know when the change happens because that good ol’ ‘Oh. Oh no.’ happens and I swear I squeal every time. YEAH YOU FUCKING LOVE EACH OTHER NOW KISSSSSS. Also I adore big scary baddie soft for one person.
12) What do you do to get motivated to write?
BAHHA CHRIST. Prayer circle. Virgin sacrifice. Star dance. Nothing fucking works lmao. Sometimes music helps, or rewatching the movie/show to get a feel for the character again.
13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write?
Not that I’ve discovered as of yet 🤔
14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested?
Well I haven’t opened requests so I’m not too sure.

I call everything a fic so there’s that. A drabble I think of as maybe less than 1k, and anything over is a oneshot.

Oneshots! I adore multi chaps but I struggle to hold onto the motivation and energy to keep up with them.

None that I’ve posted because I have a fear of letting people down/disappointing them lmao.

That they won’t let me upload more than 9 fucking pics to do a pretty masterlist.

Nighttime mostly, when the house is silent, everyone’s asleep and I’m finally alone lmao.

Music. I try to fit the music to what I’m writing—if I’m writing angst, I’ll chuck on a heartbreak playlist; romance/smut, I’ll listen to love/sexy songs, etc.

Baha nah. Full forward and into the abyss. We’re going on a journey together lmao. I try to have a rough, very vague idea for multi chaps but other than that it’s pure chaos. Let’s see where we go hahah.

As soon as. I suffer from severe Impatience™️ so as soon as that final word is on that doc I’m copying, pasting and posting.

Five More Minutes
Reg, please don’t do this,” the tall man pleaded, treacherous tears slipping down his swollen cheeks.
The younger man looked away, trying to take a step back. He just needed to get out the door. He glanced around the home he was leaving, a lump quickly growing in his throat. He was looking anywhere but at James, his heart shattering when his eyes landed on a photo of them together placed on top of the mantle. He’d give anything to go back to when the photo was taken.
“It’s for your safety, James. Please try to understand. It’s better if I go now.”
James grabbed the other man’s upper arm, pulling him back in, holding onto it like a lifeline.
“I don’t care about my safety if it means I don’t have you. Please just tell me where you’re going. I can go with you. I can help,” he pleaded, attempting to pull Regulus back into the safety of his arms.
“James you have so much to live for. You have remarkable friends and Dumbledore to protect you. I’m just a vile death eater. I can’t let you destroy your life for me like that mon chèri.”
“You’re not just a vile death eater. You’ve done so much to aid our side. Regulus I don’t want to live this life without you.”
“I know darling. But it’s for the best. I’m sorry,” Regulus replied, tears he had been doing well to suppress beginning to slip from his eyes, impossible to halt once they began.
“Reg, please” James prayed, placing a hand on his chin to gently force him to look into his lover’s eyes.
“I want to go with you. Let me help you. You don’t have to do it alone. I’m here. Please let me help. I’d do anything for you.” the taller man whispered, causing his lover to visibly crumble in on himself.
“I know you would darling; that’s exactly why I can’t let you come. It’s a dangerous task I have to complete, and I can’t risk you sacrificing yourself for me. I can’t live without you. I need you to understand that. I must be going darling. Our time together is coming to a close.” Regulus explained, his voice growing cold and distant as he went on. He wanted to throw his arms open, tug James in, and tell him it would all be okay but he couldn’t. He couldn’t lie to the man he loved. He knew he was safer without him.
James was cracking, desperately trying to hold onto the small pieces of Regulus he had left. He felt as if water was beginning to pour through him, drowning him from the inside out. If Regulus was his only lifeline, who would hold him up when the other man was gone?
“I can’t- I can’t lose you either Reg. Please just stay. Take me with you. Anything to keep us together. Regulus please,” he whimpered, trying to hold himself together and failing miserably.
“I’m sorry darling. I wish you could. I- I wish you could,” Regulus replied, pressing his forehead to James’. His pocket watch began to beep, and James pulled him in tightly, desperate to keep him here.
“No- No not yet. Regulus please don’t go. Don’t leave me. Stay, please. Just five more minutes, please,” James begged, desperate for his lover to stay.
The younger man was going to say no, he had to leave, but this was just too much. He didn’t want to leave James, his love, his ray of sunshine, his everything, but he had no choice. James would only be in danger with him, and he needed to successfully destroy the Horcruxes. But despite this, well beyond his better judgment, Regulus sunk into James’ arms.
“Five more minutes.”
And for those five minutes, the two men soaked each other up, imprinting every minute detail about the other man into their memory, praying to Merlin or whoever was listening they would turn out okay.
Maybe they’d see each other on the other side of the war; it was all they could hope for.
