It didn’t take Emma long to arrive, having rushed her way over right after work to help her friend prepare. Walking in, Emma saw her friend pacing her apartment, nervously looking between several outfits she had picked out which lay on her bed, while the rest of her closet sat in disarray.
“Wow, it looks like your closet threw up.” Emma stated, jumping over a pile of clothes before sitting on her friends bed.
“I know, I just couldn’t find anything I liked.”
Emma couldn’t help but laugh at her friend, seeing the now adult woman reduced to a flustered teenager made up for all the years Y/n had made fun of her pining after Draken. She leaned over the bed to look at the closest outfit, it was nice but not really an outfit you want covered in cat hair, so she shook her head, earning a sigh from the other.
“How long do we have until this date?”
“It’s tomorrow, we could do a quick run to a store, but I’d rather find something in this shit hole to wear.”
“That’s plenty of time, let me look through what you have.”
Emma stood up and began to rummage through her clothes, trying to piece together a cohesive outfit for her. Looking down at her phone Y/N saw a message from her mysterious man, smiling to herself as she replied. Emma was quick to notice her smile, throwing one of the shirts at her to get her attention.
“So are you finally going to show me who this man is? I want to know what dude has you so worked up over.”
Y/N stuck her tongue out as she loaded up her app, opening his profile to show her him. Finding the picture she thought was the cutest, she flashed her phone to her.
Emma was quiet. Which for the first 30 seconds seemed to be a good response. Until it went past that and Y/N suddenly started to panic, pulling her phone back to make sure she had shown the correct account. When she confirmed that yes, it was her mystery suitor, she couldn’t help but look at Emma confused, wondering why the sudden change in demeanor.
“Hello, earth to Emma? Are you okay?”
“Uhhh,” Emma started, fixing her hair and looking back at her friend, “I know him.”

Now, Y/N was starting to panic, was this guy some weird psychopath that Emma had had to deal with when she was younger, she had mentioned that her brother and his friends used to be in a gang of sorts. Oh no, what if he was some really weird guy and she agreed to meet up with now.
“He used to be my brothers best friend, Kazutora.”
Emma, who quickly got over the shock at seeing Kazutora for the first time in a while, smiled softly at her friend, who looked like she was panicking. Sure, Emma wasn't happy to see a familiar face, but atleast it wasn't some one like Hanma or the Haitai brothers.
“Is he… is he a cool guy?” She asked nervously.
“Oh! He’s cool, no need to worry.”
Y/N couldn’t help but relax after hearing that. So Emma didn’t get all quiet because he was some weirdo. That took a lot of the nerves off her back.
“Good, I got worried when you kinda stopped talking.”
Y/N quickly got to talking about him again, explaining how cute he had been this morning, but Emma wasn’t listening. Emma quickly got to texting her brother, alerting him to the is new information she had aquired. Then quickly shooting a text to her boyfriend and Hina.
